Great food and gluten free. In same fryer though but I not had a problem with them. Gf Hot dogs are corn dogs not battered but still good. Love the gf fish always go here.

Very quick, even when they are busy. Generally pretty good, although I could do with a little more flavor in the burgers... it's just missing something. Don't let that put you off though!

Really fresh and delicious, my only comment was that it was quite salty, but I’m not used to takeaway food at all! Would recommend and will be back 🙌🏼🤤

I believe this is the best fish & chip shop in Canterbury :) ... and I'm VERY picky!! The chips are lovely, the fish delicious ( I do always pay out for the blue cod), the shop always full of happy customers. Not sure where the strange negative reviews have come from? Disgruntled ex-employees? One bad experience? Dunno but I think they are great!!

We're travelling NZ and have had fish and chips twice a week for the past 8 weeks in various locations across the country; we always look up the local f&c shop to read the reviews and we almost didn't go here because of the negative comments but it suited our plans so we gave it a go and we're so glad that we did. And for this reason, this is the first review we've posted for f&c as we think they deserve it (and we want to de-bunk previous negative reviews). I should add that this review is mostly aimed at travelling Brits! We keep coming across big statements like "best f&c in the whole of NZ" in different places but by our [UK] standards we've been really disappointed but thought this is just what kiwis think are "the best". We can't deny that [in general] the fish itself is far better in NZ (if it's cooked well), probably because cod is the main fish in the UK and it's quite tasteless although most places cook it well which masks that issue. But chips are so important to us Brits and we weren't sure if it was the potato in NZ that makes the chips only "ok" (again, by our standards) but all (ALL) of the chips we've had (until now) have reminded us of McCain's oven chips that any Brit would know too well. However, at Lincoln Fish Supply we ordered the 'general' fish and chips x2 and found the fish, the fish batter, the chips and the portions to be the best that WE have had so far in NZ. The chips are assorted sizes and all fluffy, chunky and cooked to perfection! So, if you're from the UK and have had the same '[first world] problems' that we have had with the old f&c abroad saga, for us, this has been the closest thing to home and I'd highly recommend it (wherever you're from!)

Great fish and chips.. wife is coeliac so hard to find good gluten free fish, but Lincoln Fish Supply are great- separate fryer for gf product. And the crumbed fish I find great. Can be busy so pre -order saves time.
