M.Adding to the great reviews for this fish n chip shop. Chips were perfectly cooked and lemon fish was juicy and delicious. Had a chat to the friendly owner while our order was cooking, he recommended places for us to visit this being our first time to New Plymouth. Would definitely return again.

J.Handy location so a busy takeaway shop. Extensive menu with some whiteboard specials too. Seats to sit on, magazines to read, tv to watch while you wait. We didn't get what we ordered - 2 battered and 1 crumbed instead of 2 crumbed and 1 battered but the fish was well cooked and tasty. Chips were a good size. I'd give them a 2nd chance.

ie not frozen) crispy thin battered, juicy lemon fish, that just melts in your mouth. Lightly golden perfectly cooked chips.

P.Friendly services very fair prices. His shop is Clean. He employees young kiwi staff to give them a hand at starting out. I think he is a pretty long term good operator. Way better than Merilands fish and chips. Good bang for your $$. Keep up the great work
K.Great fish and chips. I get the crumbled fish they use fresh fillets and crumb it just before cooking. So you don't get the rock hard breadcrumbs like at most places. They have a selection of at least 3 types of fish. There chips are crunchy on outside soft in middle as they should be. Cooked in oil not greasy.
