A.Been driving past this Fish'n'Chip shop for months but finally went in! Wow great Fish and chips 🍟 though I would recommend 2 scoops for 2 people. Hotdog was very good just like at the fair! Will definately go back and service was good too. Very clean looking which I like! Also sells fresh fish/seafood.

P.Haven't been here for over 8 years and it still our favourite fish and chips in the world!!! Don't let the lack of decor fool you..what they prepare and cook is worth the wait!!! Terakihi, Butterfish, scallops, mussels, raw fish, chips...amazing
A.Bought 2 fresh fillets of gurnard from the cabinet and the store crumbed and cook them for me to perfection. The best fish and chips I have ever had. Friendly staff and a picnic table outside if you want to “dine-in”.

I.Hreat fish & chips. I picked 2 filets of terakihi from the wet fish display which the team battered and cooked for us absolutely delicious and sone perfect chips completed a great meal
S.Its a great little fish and chip shop. Usually have alot of fresh fish to choose from and there mussel and paua fritters are pretty good for the price. It's the only take away I get these fritters from
M.Best value fish & chips I've had in ages. Fresh and comparatively cheap. Only issue is the wait time, but that's just because of its popularity with the locals. Definitely phone in your order.

D.Easily one of the best quality fish & chip shops in Kapiti. You choose your own fillet from a selection of about half a dozen, then choose battered or crumbed, and its cooked to perfection. Not dry or overly coated. Chips are chunky type. Lots of people do phone orders. They close earlier than others. Easy parking right outside, & they have outdoor seating. My recent visit was an acceptable 12 minute wait, but in the past I've had to wait over 35 minutes (& wasnt told of this before I paid), so suggest you ask before you order.
M.A great spot hidden in the commercial district of paraparaumu.Great for fresh fish to take home and enjoy. Much better range than local supermarkets. Fantastic fish and chips made on site. Have your fresh fish cooked for you if you wish.

F.While im fortunate enough to be working for a time on the Kapiti Coadt ( im painting figurative and abstract portraits) I have visited every fish and chip shop on the coast , but Star Fish is the number 1 fresh fish and chips i unequivocally covet the most OMG . I go up there on my bike and eat outside on the restaurant table. HOT DAYUM 🔥 capital D for delicious. Check out the 📷 The size of it. Hey listen the price is the best. As their sign says Fish so Fresh it hasn't been caught yet. Yummy nom nom nom ( thumbs up 100%)
V.Starfish Kapiti sells a good selection of fresh wet fish & seafood in general. You have a choice of either choosing fresh fish from the display cabinet and have this cooked freashly for you, or just choose the fish of the day which is already crumbed or battered. If you choose the freash fish a small cooking fee is charged to batter or crumb & cook your fish or oysters etc... I normally just get the fish of the day, it's always very nice and fresh. I also like their potatoe fritters, they are a favorite of mine from here. Also the raw fish is also very nice too... Wayne (the owner) told me when I got some raw fish for the first time that I will be back for more! He was right too...the raw fish is really nice.

M.This is a great little fish and chip shop. They also sell fresh fish, mussles, donuts etc and even Maori raw fish in punnets. Fish is battered and cooked as you order, hot dogs are really big and lovely, batter is nice and good coverage on fish and hotdogs one scoop of chips is enough for 2 people quite generous portions but if you like lots of chips you would need to order more. Overall this is the only fish and chip shop I go to now and well worth the extra drive and money i fully recommend Starfish.
D.Starfish is supplied with fresh fish and shellfish daily. If you haven't tried their raw fish yet I highly recommend trying it, you'll definitely go back for more

r.Called prior to arriving to make an order. The man answered and requested that I was put on hold for a minute, this then turned into 20mins waiting on hold. When we arrived he still hadnt taken our order. We ordered a paua fritter which turned out to be mainly flour and God knows what but there was a very minimal amount of paua. Overall the rest of our order was good however didn't appreciate being put on hold or the quality of the "genuine paua" fritter
