Reviews of Pohara Store and Takeaways
C. C.As the sign next to the door says "The Best In The Bay". Fish and Chips, Pizza, Burgers, and more, all made the way you want and cooked to perfection. The picture of the Pizza and Wedges is a typical serving for one. It blew me away the size of the portion of wedges. Top marks to the little lady serving us.
C. C.Great food, didn’t take long with how busy it was tonight. Good job to the two young lads in the kitchen.
B. F.A great local dairy and takeaway. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The shop has all the essentials plus scoop ice cream and real fruit ice cream. Tea and coffee avaliable.
The fish and chips won't win any awards (actually they are pretty awful and I would score them a 2/5 but there really isn't another option outside of takaka) The takeaway gets very busy so expect 30 minutes wait after 6pm.
