C.Their fish is always fresh. You can taste the difference especially the snapper. Great take away
S.This order took over an hour before we got it.We ate ot at the camping ground nearby but found the sausages are very high in preservatives and the chips are cold. The fish is nice though.
A.Fish was awesome. Like all the other reviews said, crispy batter. Their egg burgers have a decent meat pattie and was really tasty. Chips were crispy. We ordered the garlic chips, but the garlic butter was sparse. I would Still go back there though.
G.Burgers are the best, and their chips are devine. Have not tried anything else on the menu as I'm perfectly happy with burger and chips.
T.Very good fish and chips. The sausages are particularly good - very meaty and juicy! This place is very popular, especially during holiday season. Wait times around dinner can be over 40 minutes, so phone your order in if you can.

S.Out favourite Fish and Chip shop in Taupo and probably New Zealand. Light Batter, fresh gurnard was perfect and kumara chips are better than anywhere else....not burn to a crisp or limp as some go. Scoops of chips generous and fired to perfection too. Always popular - esp in Friday - so order ahead and pick up 20 mins later.

R.I've been going to Shaynes every time I stay in Taupo. I'm a chef...this meal was stunning.The best batter and the fish oh the fish! Brilliant. Top of your game well done.

P.It was 8.55 pm on a Sunday night trying to find fish & chips for 6 hungry adults . They were obviously trying to close , lights were down and waiting for there last customer to leave. Cleaning up , just two of us so they didn't know if we wanted just a scoop of chips or what.
We asked if they would take a order and without hesitation said of course.

L.When I entered, the lady at the counter had a huge smile on her face. The chips were gorgeously crispy and the fish was nothing short of exquisite. I hear it's under new management, they're very friendly and are obviously doing a great job. Will undoubtedly be back :)

A.Fish was fresh and good. But chips were a let down. Garlic chips tasted the same as normal chips. It's the only FishnChip shop you gonna get if you are staying around Acacia Bay for your taupo adventure
