We try to buy it online but it didn’t work and redirect us to the phone, so we called and simply ordered by it. They had it ready only in 10 min and we pick it up, easy and fast! We ordered a V8 and a C’N Cheese. The V8 was a little dry, but great flavours mixture. The C’N Cheese the meat wasn’t the most tasty one but was nice. Burger fuel is an excelente alternative for a little more gourmet hamburger kind (fast food related) !

Clean trendy burger joint in Upper Hutt. Friendly and attentive staff. Burgers are yummy. Bit gourmet and not like your typical McDonald's burger which makes burger fuel stick out. I'm impressed that burger fuel are using eco friendly packaging and cutlery so big ups to burger fuel for being progressive in that area. The actual food itself is yum. I had a simple beef burger but opted for a lettuce bun. We came in just after the lunch rush so was relatively quiet. Burger was cooked quickly and presented to me on a nice plate. If you love burgers that taste like they are homemade then this is the place t0 come. The kumara chips and aioli is so yummy so definitely recommend to try those. Overall I'm pretty happy with burger fuel and the service they provide Highly recommend to all :)

I tried the special 'lowrider' burger and it was really fantastic, you can really taste the corn crumb and buttermilk on the chicken. Excellent. As always the spud fries are the star of the show.

I had tried their burger the American muscle single, it was absolutely the best burger. The beef was perfectly cooked unlike the normal beef burger, dried. Comes along with beautiful and fresh veggies this is a highly recommended for someone who are a big fan of burger. Excellent service and a cozy place to hang out. Might come again once I’m back from Nelson.

I love to support the local business in Upper Hutt. On this occasion we decided to go for a burger at Burger Fuel. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and appealing. However, unfortunatly the burger i ordered had so much mayonnaise in it that it was oozing out everywhere and the bun was soggy .. let's just say I didn't eat it all! I mentioned to the staff that they may want to put less mayo in the burgers, and his reply was .. "it's in a mayo gun, so I pressed it and too much came out, o well too late!" It's rather annoying as the burgers aren't cheap .. our meal cost $58! We won't eat there again.

A month or so back, I ordered online to pick up and eat at the store. Was a nice day so their outdoor seating was great. As usual, burger and chips were awesome and good value. For some reason they didn't receive my mates order (his account, but I paid), and so he had to order again when we arrived. His order came out really quick so no issues there. However, I noticed a few days later I had been charged for the extra order we never received. I called the store and spoke to a manager named Scott. He dealt with the issue quickly and came through with a resolve within hours. Top food done by top people, and great service... you don't see that often these days. Keep up the good work!

Great place to eat. I go there at least a couple times a month. Food always tasty and staff are all friendly, even when it's super busy. Always like trying the new items they bring out each month. The jaffa milkshake and the new redwoods lowrider for this month are my new favorite items. Hope they add a permanent chicken burger to the menu like the redwoods lowrider as I'll be sad to see it go.

Really great service (friendly and super quick), food was very good (though the regular fries were individually a little hit and miss - most were awesome, a couple weren't, but everything else about the place was great so not enough to ding a star), meat and several veggie options, and love the little construct-yourself-cartons the burgers came with to keep the huge burger from falling apart. Can't wait to come back!

Good quality burgers what you cannot miss out while being in New Zealand. I had BBQ Roadster burger, what was very fulfilling and taste good. Kumara fries were nice, but some pieces were burned. Bonus point for aioli sauce, what came together with fries. Also it is such a nice idea to give burgers with carton "holders", what makes burger experience less messy.

Bought two burgers. The chicken in the Bacon Backfire burger was good. However, the beef in the double American Muscle burger tasted quite fatty and grisly. While I like Burger Fuels marketing, I think their food is a bit overpriced for what you get, so it’s not my regular hangout.

A very good BurgerFuel. Personally, I don't think you can ever go wrong with the Ford Freak out. Adding avocado to a beef burger just adds that excellent extra element. Pair with a strawberry shake and spud fries for sure!

Now I love BurgerFuel as much as the next person, but today was a little disappointing. The food was fine, I ordered online and my partner specifically requested no Aaoli. Luckily it was just on the lettuce and top bun so we swapped our respective peices, as I had none on mine and we enjoyed our burgers, rather than spend a night in hospital.

In Upper Hutt BK is awful in every way, maccas is ok, KFC seems to have lifted its game but I kind of put Burger Fuel on that "next level" for fast food burgers. Cruisy decor with plenty of magazines to read and colouring for the kids. Reliable service, good burgers, good fries and the staff always seem to be happy and having fun. I did once see them stressed but it was pretty obvious they were temporally, extremely short staffed but they warned me of the slight delay at ordering so cant ask for much more than that.

I was introduced to Burgerfuel after a long day of hitch hiking and not having eaten for 8 hours. Safe to say that upon sinking my teeth into the Bastard Burger I was mightily impressed. "But Gregg, you hadn't eaten anything in hours, surely anything would have tasted great at that point?" Right you are Mr/Mrs Cynic. So I went back again. I went back so many times that I ended having almost every single burger on their menu. And you know what I found? The best damn burgers in New Zealand and, quite frankly, the best burgers I have eaten ever. Their thickshakes are true to their name, Thick. All three flavours will not disappoint. Their kumara fries are little sticks of golden Nirvana in every bite(when you can get them because they are so damn delicious people rioted over having them thus causing a worldwide shortage) and I never let the aioli cup go unlicked. Now that I am back in Canada I have fever dreams about how good these burgers were, and I am so far away I cannot fill my hunger for these fabulous meat creations. Also, they made a Vegan burger taste great. That in itself deserves a frickin Nobel Prize or at the very least some heartfelt hugs.
