Updating this review as I initially gave 2 stars due to issues with phone orders, that was 2 years ago and I've since used these guys heaps and there's never been an issue since. Phone orders, web pick-up or delivery - all awesome and great fast service. My go-to for great burgers/food.

Having moved to Johnsonville, I've been spending way too much time here!... No regrets!! One of the nicer Burger Fuels in Wellington with plenty of seating although it can get cold. Can't say much more about Burger Fuel other than gorgeous burgers and chips... However, you need to get lucky with their milkshake machine which tends to be down a lot of the time

This is a really cool place and has some of the nicest tasting burgers.. The staff are young enthusiastic folks who add to the overall fun quotient of the place.. Nice clean premises, very good location, hundreds of parking spots around the place.. Lovely experience.. 😍

Substantial burgers, and pretty tasty (though not as tasty, or as adventurous, as some). Service is friendly and food arrives hot and quick. You won't leave hungry, or grumpy. But what lets the brand down is its cost. You can simply get more for your money elsewhere, especially in burger-mad Wellington.

Delicious, and somewhat healthy - these gigantic sized saucy burgers are better than a treat they are happiness. Flavours are a bit different to the regular cheese burgers and chicken and mayo, but dont be shy to try them, as the best burgers we had were the stranger ones. Get chips. Don't think of the diet. Just get the chips. they are delicious. Staff are friendly, which makes for a nice change.

Excellent recent experience here. The staff were really pleasant taking our orders with dietary requirements and brought our food to the table nicely displayed and not just biffed in a bag. We'd had a couple of bad experiences at the Hataitai branch so had not been to BF for a couple of years. I would highly recommend the team at Johnsonville and will definitely be back!

I get burgers from this branch now and then, never had bad quality food from here (I used to work at burgerfuel so I know exactly how everything is made). Meats always well cooked, salad in the burger is always fresh etc, fries are freshly made etc :)

For hat it is its not bad food and id rate it as the second best burger fuel I have had to buy from. Service is not the girl at the fronts strong point 10min to make a milkshake so make sure you dont forget to order that in advance. Twice I have made the same mistake. Though im not a salt head I do find i need to salt the meat on the burger. CHIPS is over salted again.

I like the food here much more than the two big name burger chains nearby, but this branch functions more like a takeaway than a restaurant. As a result the door is often left open making for a draughty and sometimes cold place to sit and eat. Five stars for food, three stars for comfort.

Nice place, very nice decor as per the burger fuel food chain. Staff were very helpful and were spot on with the time it would take to make my order. A big selection of burgers to choose from and they always have a new one out every time I go in. The Johnsonville shop is easy to get to with a big car park (for the sniper market next door) would recommend if you are hankering for a burger. 🍔

Friendly staff and always happy to correct mistakes. Love the v8 vegan burger and fries on those days when I can't be bothered cooking or am craving salt. I also love the low carb option that means you get your burger in a lettuce bun. I think they need some work on how to best do the lettuce bun because they tend to fall apart. I now take mine home and get a couple of large lettuce leaves and cup the burger with them which stops the burger falling apart.
