Best burgers in the whole of Northland.... the burgers were .fresh tasty and better than I expected. The shop was very clean and hygienic. Excellent customer service . Ahmed was friendly professional and welcoming . He is a total asset to your restaurant . Keep up the great customer service . I can tell you are happy in your job Ahmed you're smile and service shows that. .it's great to see happy employees that go over and above.

Awesome burgers! Best burger I have had in NZ. Most NZ burgers are like meat loaf with fillers. This is a 100% beef patty like we are used to in the USA! I have gone back many times.

A short 6 minute grill turn around time was just long enough for me to drool a little. I took my time to savour my meal, enjoying my walk down memory lane. Fan since 1995 The doofer is still my favourite way to deal with the delicious juiciness of a burger cooked to perfection.

Easy pickup system, great staff, friendly and fast. The food was hot, fresh and well packed. All covid protection protecols in place. Masks, vaccine pass (if you dine in). And distance well managed and even in the small shop it's following all safety recommendations. The burgers where delicious, a bit rich on the amount of sause, but a nice balance of meet, vedge and a good bun. No real "big" flavours that stood out, but definitely not blend. A good thing to not have everything overly salty, (something someone warned me about, but my order was not salty at all) Chips cooked well done, kumara chips a little under cooked but tastefull. Complementary sauses with the chips where delicious! Sure flavours you don't get everyday. Packaging looks all recyclable. Maybe just the condemands sauses could be in a better packaging. The box for the burger is a design that is cleverly thought through. Clean looking shop, although we ate out. A great place for a quick bite in Whangarei, for meat lovers and vegetarians alike, as there are delicious vegitarian options.

9th Jan, called as I was unable to make changes to my order online. The guy I spoke to was so helpful, I'm sure they were busy but here was no pressure to get off the phone quickly. When I picked up the guy at the counter was super friendly and had a great vibe about him. Unfortunately the alteration to my burger didn't happen which was a total bummer because I couldn't enjoy it at all. I was across town once I realised (should have checked before I left 😭) so was a shame as I'd been looking forward to trying the burger for a while and only visit BF's a few times per year. The girl I spoke with was lovely, apologised and arrange free spud fries for me, would have been better to have been offered the burger made correctly but I appreciated the gesture and service at the store was fantastic so I let this one go haha

Alwayz awesome ordering meal on the app and just picking up, instead of waiting in the queue to be served. Love using the coupon deals and accumulating BK crowns to spend later and getting free meals using these points, I currently have 1171. My favourite combo is number 3 with extra cheese, but also the rodeo burger for $3 is worth it. I wish McDz had a app you can order and pay online. BK is my most favourite takeout restaurant to eat at Thank you

We drove a long way to get here - From Waipua Forest on the way back to Paihia just to come to Burger Fuel.. Our 14 yeara old is dairy and gluten free and this is one of the few places that offers such an awesome range of flavor full options for him...Safe to say he loves Burger Fuel ....To be fare this is the best Burger Fuel we have been to.. so fresh and clean with super fast service .. totally worth the hours drive out of our way just to come here :) Thanks Team Whangarei 👍

Fantastic burgers. High quality ingredients and filling quantity. Soft buns. Dean the owner is a fantastic host. He looks after the customers and talk to them during busy times to inform them of waiting times. The team work is fantastic. Hard working staffs are doing their best to deliver delicious burgers in a very high pressure environment. Seeing how the team is so hard working and the owner is so sincere and welcoming, I am very sure this business will be a success. I can sense the owner's genuine intention to make all of his good customers happy. Highly recommended.

Super busy little place well worth the 15 minute wait and the price. Say goodbye to your McDonald's burgers that don't look like the picture and say hello to Burger Fuel! Fresh tasting, full of flavor burgers that fill you up so quickly! Was super surprised at how full I was after my meal. The staff are super friendly and I love how the owner floats around checking to see if everyone is enjoying their Kai. Good vibes all around here, if you haven't tried it already you need to get this in your life.

At the old supermarket in Kensington, to Burger Fuel I say, thank you very much, and the old shopping center carpark was jammed packed with people, very good. I drove back to Kaikohe in a flash

Have “accidentally” been four times in the opening week, even with the line out the door every night the burgers have all been made really well, It feels like a great amount of care goes into making each one. We didn't get to eat there because they'd run out of food - but 5 stars for the awesome service. There was a guy standing outside, apologising to everyone, AND directing us all to other nearby food options. At the time we were completely starving (it was late and we'd just finished an adventure race that took a LOT longer than we'd expected) and we had no previous experience of Whangarei so we really appreciated the help. Haven't been to burgerfuel for years. Was so excited for the peanut piston only to find out it's not longer a thing. The edge that burgerfuel once had has gone. Is now just another fast food chain pumping out food at a fast food rate. Bring back the old school quality of foodgasm feels.

When I got there the place was insanely busy, it took a while to order and then took even longer for the food to come out, BUT, it was all worth the wait, Not only were the staff fantastic and would check in with the customers, check table and order numbers frequently but also engage with the customers waiting. 10/10 The food was fantastic as well and 100% worth the wait. I am a personal Burgerfuel addict. No shame on this one. This place did not disappoint. The fries were fluff balls of crispy, salty and soft potato, cooked to perfection. The Burnout burger I ordered had the perfect ratio of meat, sauce, vegetables and flavour. To top this off, the staff were extremely friendly + I had an uber clean environment around me. Deeelicious! A little wait as it was very busy but superb communication from the husband and wife team kept folk happy. The inclusion of a free box of kumera fries to compensate for the wait was a lovely way to show we were appreciated. The kumera fries were perfection and there were plenty for two. The chicken nuggets, while nothing like expected were loved by our young granddaughter and my Chook Royale was a light but tasty lunch. Cool atmosphere with a joyful team. Social media isn't my thing but this was an exceptionally good experience.
