Looking for heavy duty box, checked before coming but in fact not available at store. Very helpful staffs

Went to look at Esky chiller, found a small 10l, perfect size for $39.00. Busy today at 1pm but straight thru self service. In and out under half an hour.

It's Bunnings. Like most other Bunnings. Staff here are great, and the typical Bunnings range always means you get what you need. Some products are clearly being impacted by shipping issues, hard. To get hose clamps for some reason.

Welcoming staff, smells like timber, clean and well-stocked store. Toilets were reasonably clean and hand soap smelled amazing. Things hanging out of the sanitary bin though.

I quite like this store. It's new and invigorating. Still has that freshness and eagerness from the staff as well. Heaps of parking and well located. It's always well stocked and some staff member willing to help. Excellent range and well priced. Definitely recommend this place.

Super happy with the service when I had to return/exchange some spray cans that didn't work. I only had the receipt for 1 can but they changed both and the guys in the paint department were awesome.

It was good the staff is so helpful when you want to find certain item to buy thank you Bunnings your staff is awesome and to wear our mask it's experience for all of us thanks 😊

My favourite place, been going there for years. Enjoy looking through all the items and finding items of interest all the time. Staff and managment so helpful and friendly.

I went here when we cud only do click n collect. It was well thought out from entering to exiting. I gota say.... orange cones were placed in such a way that if one couldnt follow then they must be colour blind - seriously, id been to other no name well known stores and we practically had to search for the next cone! I kid u not! So Bunnings...Two Thumbs Up! ! !

The staff is friendly, they almost always have what we need, and are able to answer our questions or direct us to someone who can.

Parking is always a struggle in here covid or not. The young lady assigned in the entrance door (last Sunday) directing shoppers is not friendly/accommodating as I tried to asked where can I go for refund as I was been charged 2x for an item at checkout.

Pick up due to covid restrictions. It didn't take long for my order to go through although I understand that they are getting longer due to ongoing restrictions. Pick up was easy and efficient

We went to Bunnings Botany today.We needed a new toilet and the help we got from the gentleman there was outstanding.

ON 22 December, My wife and I visited Bunnings Warehouse Botany (Corner of Burswood Drive.) Being totally ignorant about home improvement techniques and the type of materials needed, we sought the assistance of a young floor attendant by the name of Ali. Not only we were amazed by his product knowledge but also his willingness to advise us on how to get a perfect finish by explaining the technicalities of what we needed. People like young Ali are certainly an asset to your Warehouse and he has won us over as regular customers of Bunnings. Please convey our sincere thanks and appreciations to Ali. Godrej Engineer.

Great help in outdoor furniture by Nikhil and Chad, outstanding service. They helped me find exactly what I needed and even helped put it in my ute. definitley coming back.

A handy all-in-1 place for DIY supplies. I only wish self-checkout machine is NOT going to be the norm for the future.

Didn't quite have the exact replacement bulb colour but close enough. Still slightly annoying not to be able to use Bunnings powerpass card at normal checkouts. End up not using it at all for smaller purchases.

Didn't find that anyone went out of there way to help you, had to find help quite a few times.

visited super cheap auto to get window blind, staff was helpful to get rhe right size for my car window.

I enquired where to find log baskets was told Aisle 35. I walked the length of store but found nothing! Very hard to get assistance from staff all too busy!!!

As always, Bunnings is the best place to buy a good DYO stuff around Botany area. Each time very satisfied 🔆

Bunnings is a top favorite visiting place, learning place, exploring place, & most importantly a place diy folks feel most connected with. We are the children in the lolly shop! Every possible item is available & then some more. Their coffee & nibbles are so refreshing. The garden site is a pleasure for many of us with green fingers. The tools sections & the sheer range of power tools is amazing, the plumbing, bbq, etc. are superbly displayed & well lit & easy to scan & locate whatever one is after. Their staff are superbly knowledgeable, friendly, caring, efficient & are very well versed in guiding us to our destination items in any of their isles. The Bunnings app is also an excellent tool to locate items. Full marks to Bunnings for a great customer experience every time I have been there.

Clean, tidy and bright inside. Just keep an eye on watering the plants adequately at the soil, rather then from the crown, in the garden centre. I would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for this. Wide variety of plants and gardening materials. Good prices. Love the garden ornaments too. A wide array of power tools and some wonderful staff to assist.

Some of the staff seemed like they really couldn't be bothered being there. Not hugely helpful.

One of many Bunnings hardware stores located throughout New Zealand, the Botany branch is great like all. There is also helpful parking for cars with long trailers. This area can be found on the rightmost side of the parking lot where on the ground it should be marked with "TRAILER PARKING". Stock is always in hand, and staff are always helpful as usual. Would recommend!

UPDATE: Following my initial review below the NZ distributor sent me a replacement part for the unit. While this does not change the fact that parts support is limited as the part is not available off the shelf I must thank the Ryobi Agent for their assistance. At least they offered support my replacing the part despite the ridiculous cost to themselves. Changed from 1 star to 3 Ryobi RPW3200 - Dont Buy This Unit!!! Unit Retails at $799 NZD Used about 10 times - 2YRS The water bypass - Black Plastic Tube in Pic developed a leak The split grew with each subsequent use (2) Tried to replace the part ( a circa 3-4cm plastic screw in tube) Bunnings say Ryobi can only supply the head assembly complete at a cost of over $400. I contacted the ryobi agent in NZ which diverts to Australia. They confirmed the same. They agreed it seemed absurd but it is what it is. I wish they had put that on the box when I looked for a pressure washer. Other than this the unit has served well. The point is why make a replaceable plastic bypass if you cannot replace it? If you cannot support your product I would not have purchased it. Secondly, I recommended buying products that if sold in NZ are supported locally in NZ. This means a local help desk not just a sales agent. It is a real struggle to find some support for this product. I am sure it exists but who has time to unravel the support structure that is (all too) commonly complicated these days. The help desk in Australia did not possess any out of this world technical prowess. It would be more comforting to know that you have a point of contact locally whom is willing to take ownership of the issue. HOPEFULLY THIS REVIEW WILL ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR BUYING DECISION

OK branch of Bunnings but service is not great and stock is a bit scattered. Not always easy to find what you want. Latest visit was better. Service visible and very helpful. Layout seemed tidier..

I go here rather than the big orange place. Has everything I need and there's always plenty of parking

This is my ‘go to’ place for anything diy. Well stocked and good selections available. Staff are generally nice except for a few. Timber cutting service can be a hit and miss as most times I went there, it’s not available. Last time I asked, the saw was not working and when I asked when it will be back I was told “it will be when it’s fixed”.

Very friendly staff most of the time, and helpful. So convenient location to east Auckland people. Almost all your DIY and house fixes and renovation stuff

We designed and ordered our new kitchen using the Kaboodle design service from Bunnings in Botany. Ben who was in charge of our order was FANTASTIC. He was so helpful, respectful and gave us so much attention! Our kitchen looks amazing. The Kaboodle programme, with the amazing support from Ben couldn't be faulted. An amazing option for building a new kitchen. Thanks Ben!

Very good -got everything I wanted however customers were getting frustrated with the length of queues. You need to add more checkout operators as not everyone can go out through the self checkouts.

A wide variety of products in stock and online, products are displayed in a tidy manner and way-finding signage makes things easy to find. Price is competitive compared to other hardwarehouse competitors. The staff are usually friendly, helpful, in uniform and look like they are keeping the store in check. Usually come here for small items, hardly any queue wait times, and usually plenty of parking spaces.

Friendly, proactive and knowledgeable staff.. I've never had to look far for assistance as there's always staff buzzing around.. Lots of products and stock to chose from.. great prices too! 😍

I had a nice experience thanks to Daniel in storage for helping me to find the right shelves. I was a little confused as to which wooden shelf fitted into the frames so I asked for help. He loaded my shelves onto the trolley, helped me put back the wrong ones I had 🤣🤣🤣offered advice on supports too and even showed me how to put them in the right way. I got what I needed and was happy. A guy outside (customer) even offered to help load them into my car😁so nice...but I'm an independent woman😉🤪nah they were not heavy. Thanks Bunnings

It a great place , get most of what you’re looking for, do find that staff levels have deteriorated as hard to find help lately but always friendly . Prices also seemed to have gone up, wanted a gutter re router insert and is over $60 for a piece of plastic pipe .

Easy parking. Easy to see where you need to go in the store. Great, friendly staff who have a good knowledge of where stuff is within the store. Plenty of choice within and a garden centre too which we did not use in this occasion.

This is a huge store, bustling with everything you need. Plenty of do it yourself options and all your house and gardening needs. It is always well stocked and has friendly knowledgeable staff happy to help or point you in the right direction. There is a drive in timber section to make loading up the trailer a breeze with a timber cutting option too. The car park is huge so finding a park is no problem. I recommend this store.

Friendly staff with a decent cafe inside with reasonable prices for coffees, they actually do a decent pie from the pie warmer. Their pies aren't soggy, they keep them hot and are not to bad for something out of a packet. Bonus tip, they also have free instant coffee next to their trade desk.

Great shop, good selection of goods. Was looking for a laser thermometer for the bbq so I went to the bbq section. But it was actually in the tools section. Dont understand why.

Has most things you'd expect. Reasomavke help from staff when its not too bust. Only annoyance is how they expect to scan your receipt as you walk out, after you've just paid for your items. It's pointless and only makes you feel like a criminal.

Great range at reasonable prices. Staff I've met are helpful and knowledgeable, although sometimes that knowledge may be a bit thin at times. The store is well-managed, where while they do have "trolley blockers" in the aisles, they are not as frustrating as other Bunnings stores (e.g. Messy Manukau), where trying to push a trolley (especially the larger ones) can be a very frustrating experience.

Some workers are great - friendly and helpful. Others are meh and you get the impression that they would rather be somewhere else.

Service was great as usual

It's good. Seems to have everything you need. It's a big shop so best to ask what you need otherwise you could be wondering around for a while. Staff are very friendly and helpful and seem to know what they are doing. Carpark can get very full depending what day you go on. It has a cafe which is pretty basic .

Service in the paint section is exceptional. Both staff are knowledgeable and tinting does not cost extra. I took back 4 litres and asked what they could do to make it darker for me and I am really happy with the result and no extra charge.

They have to improve store order pickup protocol. Helpful staff though Will review again if i am happy with protocol later on.

Unable to supply enough of a item ,we had to drive to another store to get it,why!I couldn't pay at the first store and have it delivered to my house,really!!!!

The store is always well kept and looks good. The staff are friendly and are always willing to give you the best advice. The prices are great and they often have surprise specials on the weekends. Overall a great experience for the customer. Would highly recommend!

Was beginning of COVID when we were going into shut down for the 2nd time. I needed to go to the trade area. It was packed elsewhere with limited parking spots. I timed it nicely and was able to drive in, get concrete, Pay and go within 10-15 mins

Good service is a norm here. Today I went to get 1 litre of paint and combo units for bathroom. Couldn't get the paint I wanted cause didn't come in oil based but she tried to find an option for me. The bathroom lighting lady was very knowledgable and gave good background and gave me good options when i bought out their stock lol. Prices better than other retailers too

Not up to the usual standard of service. The young shop assistant in the gardening section was more interested in being on her phone. Love this store so this won't put me off because most assistants are great.

Offers a good range of hardware products. Staff are relatively helpful with advice. Unlike Mitre 10, they do not offer plastic bags, so you will have to bring your own or use the empty boxes by the checkouts. Be sure to check prices at Mitre 10 as both hardware stores offer a lowest price guarantee.

Annoying lack of service. Lighting in garden centre not on in the evenings - given the SAME nonsensical excuse, by a vague girl, 4 weeks after I first complained. No-one could answer a lighting question - the person who could help "had gone home". You should treat customers much better. At any time of day.

I don’t even know what to say. I feel so sorry for the team that work there. I was in the Paint area waiting to be served then this young lady approached me and ask me if I needed assistance. However this rude Romanian Foreign lady barges begins her and rudely interrupts. She was rude and said “I was waiting for you since before..., I won’t be long anyways”... she grabs her phone and spend quite a bit of time trying to show her on her phone what she needed then says to the young lady “Oh whatever I’ll go somewhere else you have me a look?,..” starts to call her “rude, abrupt” because she was serving other customers. She was very patient with the customer and provided awesome service and knowledge to me. It is not fair how some of the customers treat the workers and I applaud anyone that works in retail. I would of yelled back at that rude Romanian lady.

Best hardware store ever, a handyman's dream. Great place for gardeners too. Get all my building supplies here and on the two occasions when I needed to return/ exchange something it was absolutely no hassle, thank you Bunnings.

I get good service, and visit the store about 3 times a week for home and work. I visit the ladies at the paint counter a lot, as well as Trevor, Becks and Felix, who all know their story. Keep us the good work. I always want to talk to people, who have actually used the products, and tools. Dave

Our assistant was most helpful but was on a mission with 2 other customers at the same time. Top Mark's for his manner but slow down we had plenty of time, no hurry mate!!

What can you say about Bunnings ? They all have the same basic layout, the same stock, and staff who have all been trained the same...

Easy access to materials and tools.The staff very helpful with pointing you in the right direction of anything you need on your list.

Over charged by $120.00 !! Went back in store and had it sorted out. Staff dont look very happy. Thats why we were over charged. Not intrested in doing a good job I felt. Only had one person ask us if we were ok. Very unlike Bunning's.

Went to replace a drill driver I bought a year ago. Ozito. They exchanged it, no hassle. Great service.

Massive sized store. Lots of household things+ you can find there. It's got a little cafe and kids play area as well.

Great range with knowledgeable staff

A wide range of goods for anywhere from an acceptable price to way too expensive. Great for small jobs or little bits and bobs you need around the house. The weird ceremony of checking customer reciepts is pretty annoying.

Very comprehensive range of DIY products. Plenty of parking and spacious store for easy shopping.

Good place to get quality item without burning your pocket. So much to see and available but not so much advise from staff. Easy return just in case you don't need it.

Good service generally . The plumbing section used to have a staff member who was knowledgeable on plumbing this seems to have disappeared they really should get someone in for that section who is an ex-plumber or knowledgeable in that line. Just recently I have noticed a dwindling of staff numbers and this is a little frustrating at times when looking for help.

At least they had the oven I wanted. This was my 4th Bunning's in 1 day. Which sounds like a song but isn't.

An amazing place to buy the household stuff here. Most of the stuff is really very good, good quality and best prize. Staff is very helpful too. They have area for children to play so while you shop, your children can have fun.

I keep coming back, I want to shop at Mitre10 but bunnings is so much closer, cheaper and has a wider range, if not better products... I can't find anyone who beats it and that's their motto I guess. Oh their car care products are a bit off, that's probably the only fault I can find? So I just go to supercheap auto which believe it or not is RIGHT next door :/

Whilst Bunnings is my least favourite place to go, its great to walk in door and be welcomed, Even Mark having coffee says good morning and is happy to help you. Nice to see great service at Bunnings Botany

A quite big store, but it got an unusual layout than their other branches. Parking space is quite a lot, though the traffic layout is a bit unclear. Staff members are quite friendly, and stock most of their usual items.

Good layout, easy to find your way around the store

Visited the Botany store early this morning to get some plants & potting mix. When I paid at the nursery gate, I asked the girl if I got my car could someone please lift the lge bag into the car. She said yes. When I returned with the car, a very rude Asian man told me the person who was going to help, had gone. I stood looking at him, eventually he said he would go & look, returning to say he couldn't find anyone. He then said he couldn't lift it, waving his hand at me, there seemed to be a plaster on the thumb, he suggested I lift it, which wasn't an option, as I have a bad back. He then bullied the check out girl to help him despite her telling him she is not allowed to leave the till. After loading the plants into the car I went back & told the girl that was the worst customer service l'd had there, she did apologise. She in my opinion was not at fault. I am incidentally nearly 70.

Bunnings is a great place to find hardware and tools, as long as you know what you're looking for. Their staff however, although friendly, are not very helpful.

Bunnings warehouse botany is a good place to go when you are looking for outdoor furniture as well as hardware materials. You can buy a variety of things here mostly to do with building, or furniture wise

Fairly good store with helpful staff and a wide selection of products however prices are quite dare compared to Mitre 10 and other smaller shops.

10Nov16 Quite a different feel from the Bunnings Manukau store in Lambie Drive and smaller. Same range and lots of parking. Awful loyalty scheme that is a bad as Placemakers' scheme
