I visited Bunnings Mount Roskill. Plenty of Parking and great visible security at the door. Smiling helpful staff took me to or gave me directions to the aisles I needed to go to. One of the items I purchased was a large storage unit needing assembly. Staff not only let me park briefly right outside the door in a disabled park but cam and helped me load the big box that the parts were in. It would not fit in the boot or across the back seat. We ended up putting the front passenger seat back and rested it from the floor of the front seat to the back window and we just squeezed it in. I would not have been able to get it in the car without their help. They also looked after my trolley while I went and got my car. Great service makes shopping enjoyable and puts me in a great mood.

Standard bunnings store layout. 2 level carpark space. Easy access from covered parking space via ramp or stairs. Ample designated mobility parking spaces. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very handy placd to find necessities for home essentials. One problem thoufh would be that some items does not have the price on it but just the barcode. So looking for the price of certain items will be hard to find.

Glen in tiling department is an amazing human being . He has helped me with some excellent tips and it worked. Thanks Glen for your help. Have a fabulous day and weekend ahead. Anil

Drive through pick up during lock down is really a pain….

Day 1 of Auckland being able to shop in person.. Bunnings was very busy but staff managed this very smoothly. A big thank you to Jess in the trade dept..got a 2 week wait for delivery down to 5 days.

Bunnings has never let me down. No matter what tools/handyman/building/garden/bbq item you need you will find it here. Staff are helpful and will tell you where to go if you need their help. Yes lockdown has been difficult with online orders with queues forming snakes and quite long but it is what it is under the circumstances. I have had to return items but never had a problem.

Take your time & slowly enjoy the Lovely summer flowers on sale. Many herbs plants on sale. A hyper warehouse on all your DIY needs. Professional, polite & courteous knowledgeable staff to service any queries. Enjoy a cup of coffee & cake of the day for $7. A little wait if there is only a staff taking & preparing your orders. Over 💯 car park below & above warehouse.

They are doing a great job during click n collect. Yes you have to be patient and wait your turn but they trying hard. I would suggest to them they have a line for tradies who need urgent supplies and homeowners who just want a new lawn rake.

Could be the cheapest garden compost if you do'nt care of the smelling but it just disappear in a week, the grass even grows more in a week

Kudos to the team working all weathers to fill our orders. In L3, orders were picked quickly with heaps of pick up times available. Both times I was there I witnessed (entitled) trade customers screeching tyres, abusing staff and just about crashing. Staff were friendly and patient with them, and when serving me! Cheers guys and girls!

Can't go wrong when visiting a Bunnies store. I allways like their bargains. Tool section is the best.

As per usual lack of staff but at least when you do find one they are generally helpful Not impressed with the lack of concern when dealing with issues though (from admin side) 18/2/21 went to Bunnings Mt roskill and used the men's toilet which had just had the floor mopped and a warning sign which was good to see but the cleaner isn't very observant or chose to ignore, but there are lumps of dried toilet paper on one of the cubicle walls which is quite big so even I can see it, and on parts of the ceiling too. Once upon a time there used to be cleaning standards but this now seems to be a distant memory I was a cleaner at one point and I even got on my knees and scrubbed the corners where lino meets walls

Normally when I go to bunnings they are really helpful but we'll takanini bunnings is Asked this one guy and he told me to go down there and that was it found what I was looking for by chance

Easy parking not too busy heaps of variety. Good staff

Staff are very patient and understanding. Probably could work on the check out counter. Account customers were waiting in line and then got sent to information counter. Also not everyone wants to scan their shopping.

Quite a large sized Bunnings with a good selection of items at good value. Staff were quite helpful with most staff passing by asking if I was okay or needed any help. Areas were relatively tidy but could be better. I went on a weekday and it wasnt busy at all with plenty of parking

Very good range of hard ware products at very competitive prices. But some staff are not helpful.

Excellent family event. Kids had so much fun hammering tool boxes together and spray paint decorations. planted herbs. Staff were fun and involved.

Driving in & out is a hassel .Has the essentials ,but not a very good selection of Bbq & sundries ,still ok tho

I gave a Customer service A+, for this particular staff (guy)were friendly, who actually took me to the product (work boot aisle)we had good conversation, I mention how far am I going to walk (I'm using my crutches) back which I miss aisle and no staff around for assistance, in our deep conversation I mention,I need a roller skate n which is not acceptable H&S in NZ work place, as he agree, Am only in store for 2 things, Work boot n lounge chair cushion, which cushion don't stock, I walk out with other products not on my lists, worth $88+ I would love to passed on my Compliments to this staff, sorry I didn't get his name. Had everything that I required at reasonable prices. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

It's a bigger store than the one in Arch Hill, which can be very useful if you're after less common items. The selection is quite noticeably larger. This place can be scary busy on weekends and during big sales, so think about timing.

Don't expect any service unless you ask for. A Huge store and hardly you see a smiling CSRep.

Sufficient supply of building materials. The cafe and indoor playground onsite are definitely a bonus. Parents can indulge in the aroma of coffee and muffin for a precious minute or two, while the children play nearby.

Actually enjoyed my experience here and have been back again. Highlight for me was I presented my receipt on the way out and was not stopped to check the items I had purchased like they do in Manukau and Takanini.

Bunnings also is conveniently located for me. About 800 meters from home . I like going here to buy fittings, garden material, plants, fixtures etc. Lots of parking and convenient entry and exit points. Some Staff not to helpful but better than Mitre 10 Onehunga. Not many payment counters. But yesterday they very efficiently disposed of the long queue of customers waiting to pay.

Came to this store almost every week. Last.2 weeks ae were looking for carpets.. was looking out for.someone to help us.. I asked the old Indian guy sitting on the desk at the back for help...he told.me.rolook around for someone. I did n mo one was around..went back to him n asked again..he called for someone to attend..we were waiting for so long noone came. We were upset n left to go until we met Aiden on the way.. he was at the paint side e. I visited Bunnings Mt Roskill to return a Ryobi rotary hammer drill that had failed 2 years into a four year Warranty. The guy from the power tool depart had a look, asked me what happened and said the machine had let me down and gave me a new one. This out come was great as I was halfway through a job and to wait for a repair would have been extremly frustrating. Thankyou Bunnings, thankyou Ryobi.

Looking for cockroach pallets, infested with them, brand new kainga ora building on Tasman Avenue, Mount Albert never seen so many, couldn't find anything there, but plenty of other things 4 you to think and choose from from seedlings to mowers, garden tools, you name it, you ve got it closes at 700pm tonite, don't wait, lessgooo

I've been going here regularly for quite while due to good product range and proximity to house. However, I have found the staff have been progressively getting more rude and unhelpful. If this keeps up I will be making the longer drive to Mitre10 were the customer service is much better.

Good. Had to wait a bit but got the help we needed to choose from the available selection and buy the best product for the job.

Bunnings staff are always very knowledgeable and helpful at the Mt Roskill branch. Warm welcome when you walk in. I just discovered the Bunnings app which tells you the isle your item is as well which is super handy. Everyone always knows of by heart where each product is and are always eager to help. Also a great place for a coffee, playground for the kids and sausage sizzle. Plenty of parking. Uncovered up top and covered down the bottom with wheel chair ramp or large elevator for taking big loads down to the car. Toilet available inside as well if you're browsing too long and need a pitstop. This is in the far northeast corner. Self service checkout is handy for Express checkout. The information desk is helpful for returns and replacements if you buy the wrong product or need a return.

Good customer service, well organized

I asked the staff different questions about different products and was told to go to different aisles and was met with staff that showed and explained the different products. All in a good and professional manner.

Big size has everything you need except for help, staff are always standing around talking to each other and no one can seem to help you. There’s better quality help at the mitre 10 down the road. Even though they’re a smaller store, I would rather shop there instead.

Quick, easy and helpful staff today

They generally have everything you need, I love the layout of this shop (maybe cause I know it by heart), their plant/flower selection never disappoints and at a good price too! And if you've got kids the playground is a must-do, it's great and cheap entertainment.

The timer yard looks a bit rundown. We went there planned to buy some RS 2x3. They were noticeably wet and have shrinkage defects, e.g. bow. Not many choices there either. Also felt that weekend is the worst time to go, as always short of staff, especially the experience ones. To be fair the experience staff there are very good, just too rare.

Kate from the customer service desk is amazing! She was really helpful when I was in this afternoon, looking for a battery, and not only did she cheerfully help me find it, she even helped to replace it too! If the world had more customer service people like Kate, it would be a far better place! Thank you kindly!

Absolutely Outstanding Atma is the Representative we conversed with at this store And I Believe with the bathroom and plumbing knowledge this man has he could very much be a plumber he was well versed on all his Products, as our daughter myself and my wife put Technicial questions to him he answered every question as the Professional he is I Believe he should be the manager of his Department he knows all the new features and how theycompare to older style toilets before he spoke with us he solved a very complex toilet lid fitting system for some other customers as well he will be my go to consult for everything in our new bathroom bulid. Thanks from Mark fauziyah and Zarah you truly made our day and saved us time and money..

I love Bunnings, this is probably my favorite one as its close and convenient however not that trailer friendly, I usually pick up a lot of building material with a trailer, they have a pickup area under cover which is perfect for this however only allow people to park on half of the area. This makes it difficult when picking up long pieces of timber. Its really hard to find a park that is convenient with the trailer and not having to push timber through the car park. The staff here is usually friendly and very helpful. The tool counter guys are amazing and always helpful.

I've been to various Bunnings and I'm happy to say that Mt Roskill is the best of them. In particular, the Hardware and Tools section folks are top notch. I bring my do with me quite often and he totally agrees.

Plenty of free parking, friendly staff who are knowledgeable about their stock ,sweet cafe with gluten free treats that are reasonably priced. Clean toilets and Saturday workshops for children to occupy them whilst parents can shop for a couple of hours

Fabulous place! I get a lot of my DIY from here and quite surprised what they stock for my crafting. Staff always with a smile and shocks me how they know where everything is considering the 10's of thousand of items they stock. Heaps of parking as well. Even a customer toliet available :) win, win

Big store, friendly and enthusiastic staff members. Most of their prices are more economical than their competitors. You can easily spend the whole day in here. They have varied items including gardening items and plants. Parking is plentiful although most of the time it's very hard to get in and out of the car park, due to traffic.

Good arrangements on social distancing since we still on level 2 alert. Service as well really good, and môre importantly you find anything you want for your home, work and gardening. All good.

The customer service here is always excellent. Recently I had a particular problem and they listened to me carefully. They took my name and number but I didn't really expect to get any result. A week later they phoned me back and they had the thing I needed and they gave it to me for free for my trouble. This is the kind of service you expect from a small owner operater. It is surprising and very excellent to find it in such a large establishment.

It's one of our fave hangouts, whether or not we actually need anything from there! Lovely kids playground and regular activities, and the coffee is fantastic and very reasonably priced.

Has all the usual hardware and gardening supplies. Kids activities each weekend now located back by the cafe and playground area. The staff are mainly great apart from if you have a question about actual products. Last time was their had a lovely staff member explain the personal could help was on holiday. Recommend trades area for any serious questions for DIY and Google for anything else. Food is basic but fair price. Coffee is really good and cheap with cafe staff the best in the building. Good for rainy day for the kids to keep them active but amused.

been here a few times and always had a problem free shopping. The DIY range are simply unbelievable. Always ended up buying worth 100's of dollars. Azito range is also very affordable and handy for personal home use jobs. Staffs are also nice. aisle staffs are usually busy, was looking for some support in garden area outside and there was literally no one for sometime.

Went to return a gecko 10w insect trap. MAHSA, young lady who served me Was honest, quick and efficient. Great service. As for the product. Get something more useful on the shelves.

I love Bunnings. All of them. Well, not the Grey Lynn one so much - too small and filled with weekend DIY’ers that haven’t a clue what a hammer is, walking around in boat shoes and chinos. But Mt Roskill is great. Fantastic parking. Helpful staff. Worth a visit. I like to go in for 6 nails, then walk every isle twice. I’m usually there for about 5-6 hours. Bunnings is quite possibly the cause of most divorces yet also the saviour of most marriages. 5 stars. 👍

Staff are overall very helpful! But it really offended me that with no good reason they wanted to check my hand bag at checkout at the Grey Lynn branch . This is crazy! Why not have better security systems instead of treating customers like thieves. Honestly if I wanted to steal I wouldn't be at the checkout counter paying! Great way to make your customers feel welcome.

By far my favorite Bunnings

How many times have you been inside a Bunnings and you could tell it apart from another Bunnings? Me personally, only once and it was based entirely on how shiny the floor was. Which also means slippery. This one wasn't too shiny, and therefore, I reckon it's harder to slip over here. The parking is a bit better than the Grey Lynn one

Kim in the timber/trade department is absolutely the best! When I dropped a coffee I had just purchased in the cafe she did not hesitate to ring the cafe to order another one at no charge and insisted on me not cleaning up. What a kind person with a great approach to people and service. A quick thinker who sensed immediately what she should do. Thank you!

Good location and good service.

Would have rated lower but had good experience in the past. Today took cafe staff twice to page someone to the outdoor furniture dept and then when someone came couldn't help with some of the questions we had but don't think they were from that dept. Went home to look online.

Wonderful customer services.

What could be better than Bunnings? - the hardware store where you can get pretty much anything you might want, and are normally the best price going. Also - the only place you can get the Ryobi One+ Tools. They may not be industrial tough, but they are plenty good enough for your regular home handyman and have the most AWESOME range.

Staff are very helpful, store is well organised, aisles are tidy; hence easy to locate products. Ample parking.

Great place have everything

Stock standard Bunnjngs store - experience dependent on which staff are on duty. Wanted to buy 3 x 2 m fence panels and arrange it for delivery. Got told I had to wrap it up and arrange the courier . Didn't have time to sit there and tape up 3 panels for a courier so haven't bought . Surprised they don't have this service available considering they have quite a few items for sale that don't fit in cars. Aside from that it's my local hardware store so keep going here if I need something quickly. Have never felt comfortable with security staff checking you out to make sure you haven't stolen anything.

Geeez Bunnings where would we be without your incredible prices. Perfect store. Keep up the amazing customer service and thanks again.

All the hardware tools and machinery and related products you could ever imagine and at competitive prices too. Only pitfall would be the lack of product knowledge from staff. If you need specific expertise I would recommend Mitre 10 in Onehunga instead.

Refund process was quick of which I though would take a while considering the amount of items that had to be returned.

I placed an online order few weeks ago and also did in store shopping. Had great customer experiences with the staff. They are always helpful and nice.

The "go to" place in the Royal Oak / Onehunga area for all things DIY. Always walk out of there with more than I intended to buy - massive selection and great prices.

A big thank you to Alex from bunnings mt roskill for his awesome customer care. We went there looking for venus flytrap and they were sold out. He checked its availability in other stores, called them and made sure that it is kept aside for us. Thank you Alex you are awesome

All your hardware needs can be found at any Bunnings Across Auckland & NZ for that matter. Overall my favourite hardware store for all my D.I.Y projects. Really helpful staff & prices arent too bad either.

Sorry Mitre 10 but Bunnings My Roskill is my local. Some staff are better than others but you can guarantee they've got what I need

This Bunnings seems to stock more powertools than others as they always availability on the tool I require while others like New Lynn never do. Store is large with a big selection of stock in all departments. Carpark is sizable and there are two floors. Overall a great store with friendly staff.

You will get everything you need under one roof. I love Bunnings!!

I have been to Bunnings Mt Roskil on Anzac day for change of battery to garage door remote. Kate, at the tools section was very helpful who has kindly found the correct battery for the remote. In addition, she has also helped me to change the battery when I was desperately needing the remote. Kate was very calm and professional. Thank you so much for your help, Kate.

Good range of products (particularly the gardening section) and lots of parking although it does get quite crowded at times. The checkouts are always queued up greatly without fail, which is quite frustrating at times but the staff I have dealt with are kind.

Well We deal with Many Bunnings Branches. I was annoyed today because I had to drive from the Wiarua Road Branch to use my credit card to pay for $3500 worth of products. There has to be a better way..other suppliers are happy enough as long as give them the complete details. Now I would very happily pay online via their Trade site if it WOULD LET ME LOGIN! Correct Details but site keeps telling they are incorrect..Come on IT TEAM FIX IT NOW!

Good place but think it could have more variety in some items. I want to use stardrive screws but you have to buy $89/800 screws. Good value if you are a builder, but not for the diy person.

I really like Bunnings Mt Roskill. The staff are friendly and helpful. The stock is great for the DIYer like me. They are missing a few items like the longest fence palings, which I had to find elsewhere but on the whole this place is fabulous.

I had a problem at another store with people hanging up on me instead of being helpful. I called this store for help and the Operation Manager was fantastic ! She made sure that someone assisted me and made sure afterwards that all was well. WOW !

Bunnings in Mt Roskill, I ask the girl at the entranxe which Isle were toilets found?, Her response looking not really interested her customer service was blazee and said go straight down and turn right, her behaviour was showing not interested as you would think she did not want to be on entranced duties. As I located the isles spoke to a another girl who called out to the Asian guy who was attending another customer and he replied no we have none in stock. ( from a customers perspective that was rude to interrupt him while attending his customer or not say excuse me) after his customers left he attended to my queries. As I was still speaking with the girl and another staff member I ask him would they have any in stock he said he did not know that I had to talk to the Asian guy. ( It almost seems why would he even be asking the girl what I needed if he could not help with my queries) it was apparent some staff employed who work in particular sectors you would think they know there products rather than to be told or be directed to someone else who knows this can be quite annoying. Getting back to the Asian person who had finished wirh his cusromer came over to assist. Brilliant I finally found help he was knowledgeable, helpful, and gave good advice as to where I could find parts and products that Bunnings do not stock. Obviously he must of been in charge with this area of products, toilets, bathrooms, spare parts etc. He was able to give sound advice and point me in the right direction. Well done. Carpark great plenty parking; they were busy this afternoon good directional signage per isles to locate what you are looking for. Thanks for his customer service I left satisfied. (Asian gentleman)

I brought some Ryobi power tools here a few years ago and returned today May 10th and went to customer service as my Ryobi 5amp hr battery was stuffed I had lost the receipt but had the Visa Statement the girls at Customer service found the original receipt on there computer and as my battery was under a 5 year warranty I was given a replacement , Service was AAA+ if only every company in New Zealand was this helpful , Thanks

Nice big Bunnings, good garden section, plus all the things you expect from a Bunnings. Good parking underneath (which most people ignore) that is sheltered from rain and sun. The only downside is they have creepy "store greeters" - they always feel like they are straight out of a Stephen King novel...

Wonderful experience at Bunnings Mt Roskill on Friday. Had a knowledgeable young staff member, Rueben, inform me about lumens and watts, and swapped me from halogen lights to LED. Will definitely be shopping here again.

Look out for Chris in the Timber area. He was a huge help to my partner and I on the weekend, helping to find the right product options (and even cutting it down to different sizes). A genuine, friendly and super helpful young guy.

The store has every thing I need and the staff are very friendly and helpful when needed. Its also a great location for a daddy daycare as the kids love the playground and the shopping carts make a massive difference.

Average in every respect except one. Average coffee, average comfort, average aesthetics. Moving out of average and into below average was that there was a very long wait for the delivery of the drinks. (15 - 20 mins)

Excellent at Carr Road today 5th Jan after a 'not so good' experience at their Manukau centre, as I'd have got my solution to requirement on my first visit itself, not having to make a 2nd trip!
