Great team with many years experience. Older store but has the range and are happy to order if needed. Lots of parking space and they have a nice clean cafe area. Big playground for the kids.

Bunnings itself is great but the cafe staff member needs to be changed. This morning I went past the cafe and decided to show a little support by getting 1 X lolly cake and 1 X lamington. I continued to put my treats into a bag when the lady stopped making the coffee's on order to advise me that customers are not allowed to help themselves due to hygiene. Fine, I get that and totally understand so ring it up and I'm out of here...OH NO!!! You will have to wait until I have finished making the coffee's on order and then I can serve you. I don't think so lady...if you have time to come and set me straight then you have time to quickly ring this up and I'm out of your way. Unfortunately I left with no treats and was unable to leave my contribution and instead left a bit of foul language and will NEVER EVER return to that cafe and will certainly not meet a friend or family member for coffee here. If your staff don't have the know how to think sensibly, then I pity your business.

Large store, great staff and they're happy to let you have their boxes (by the checkouts) if you need them. Was a big help for moving house! Also, their returns and exchanges are quick and easy if needed.

Another fun trip to bunnings the staff in the paint department friendly and knowledgeable mixing to the colour I requested. They are extremely under staffed with onset of Omicrom but so efficient Could not tell.

I love Bunnings and I think their price is better. This is our local branch and we go there all the time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t find what we want and staff member helped us to check their stock from the computer.

The lady who greeted me at the door was lovely and cheery so that was a nice welcome! Although the selection is reduced due to supply issues, I still found almost everything I needed. The lady at the checkout was helpful and friendly and I'll be returning soon for more products, especially that eco-drain stuff. We used it in one of our whiffy drain-pipes on our boat and it absolutely works and doesn't commit a mass crime in the ocean or marina :-) Win-win! Bunnings Mt Welly got a big tick from us :-)

Bunning Warehouse is our favorite retail store for home DIY projects. The wife can find all tiny fixtures, garden tools, little gadgets for the kitchen and more. Personally I like the range of LED torch lights, nightlights with sensors, camping modules lantern plus all iOS-controlled LED light. Every two to three weeks I will take time shop here for new electrical item and if I am luck I managed to locate a few bargains too! @davidlim, #davidlimnz We bought plants and flower pots here for the house along with solar garden lights. To take a break during shopping, we go to the in-house café for a latte or two. If we have more spare time, we will attend or DIY workshop in the store itself. #davidlim The price is reasonable here for all the retail items, and the intent to carry only quality products. It is almost impossible for me to list them all, so look at all the pictures I’ve uploaded!

Overall, it's a decent sized store tucked out of the way off the Mt Welligton highway, which is always so busy so leave your visits for the weekend if you can.

Excellent choice of products but very short on people to ask where things are. Every visit takes 3x as long as it should because the logic Bunnings uses for laying out their aisles doesn't follow the logic in my head. Perhaps a touchscreen near the entry where I can search for what I want and find out what aisle it's in. At least you'll get some of your 10,000 daily steps in searching for your stuff.

These guys are what they say they are, a discount home DiY store with a big range of departments for in door and out door renovation and building projects, gardening stuff galore. They are my go to place for when I know what I want to get. The staff are always friendly and helpful but not always as knowledgeable as you might hope for, but lots of highly skilled staff would drive up the prices. The specials bins around the place tend to be a bit too cheap and junky to tempt me very often, you get what you pay for to a degree. I like how you can go there and find all the bits you need for most DiY projects. It's rarely been busy enough to slow me down, and I've never had issues getting a car park. There's loan trailers for free for up to an hour from memory, and signing one out takes about 5-10 mins, very handy if you want to grab some big plywood or gib sheets, or more than a few things for the garden.

This is a great place to buy your paints and odds and ends. Just be aware they are more expensive than (for example) Mitre 10. It's not my regular but they (my local store) didn't have the paint I needed so I went to Bunnungs. It was $11.00 more expensive at Bunnings, but a small price to pay to get my item. Derrick

Visited two places today to look at some fans, getting hot & muggy now, i dont want to go into another lockdown being stuck at home with no fan. Our tower fan packed a sad only having it 2 years, after what i paid i wouldnt get another one...went to Mitre 10 Mega Lunn Ave, they still have fans stored away in their warehouse, asked why, was told they were waiting until it was summer...aye!? Gave my details said they'll call me next Tues...went down the road to Bunnings Mt Wgtn there are oodles of fans out on the shelves! Mitre 10s loss is Bunnings gain, i mean hello? Why would i wait for next week when i can get one now? Thats dumb marketing...so i bought a "Click 30cm Box Fan" i love my fan, at $29.88, its better and more quieter than my prev tower fan that was $150 more expensive and it was noisy! This nifty fan does the job well and i love that it has a timer too...grabbed some Xmas lights as well - thanks Bunnings Mt Wellington, as always, you have helpful staff and everything i need, you guys rock! \^o^/

Have staff to greet you on arrival, which it's helpful as can point you to the right aisle. Please is the same as everywhere, they monitor their competitors and pretty much match or better.

Ah, this is a large Bunnings warehouse, it has all you ever need for any DIY projects and most parts for your tools which can also be ordered from Special Order desk. Quite happy like a boy in a toy store.

It was difficult navigating the aisles with a trolley as there are displays and items stacked on the floor impeding clear passage. When you have a trolley with large items it is difficult to manoeuvre around the corners and into the aisles. Encountering other shoppers in the other direction necessitates some backing up. It also took some time to get assistance in the flooring area. So if it is a weekend and busy, be prepared for a wait. If you are self serve and know where everything is you will be fine however.

Still meeting the expectations of their brand throughout the store, but wished we could have gotten a little more help finding the rubber seal we were looking for on this particular visit. Took the third floor staff we asked to really get directed to the right place as the first ones didn't know what we were talking about (in trying to stop air flow). I'm also still not really a fan of their tool section since there's a bottleneck entry/exit cashier from there so makes me reluctant to even browse the shelves. But otherwise, this store was just as clean inside and out so 4 stars for being on brand.

i left 5 stars previously with the comment below.......HOWEVER since that was left, I am having no end of trouble getting through on the phone. No one picks up. Then when finally after a long wait someone picked up, they put me through to another connection which rang for 3 minutes with no one picking up on that extension. You know time is important, mobile minutes cost and this is frustrating.. the phone answering lets you down ! Previous message was 5 star - as follows : fantastic service time after time. The latest is from Steve working upstairs in the offices. Also the young lady to whom he instructed to asisst with the trailer when it became available, I can not recall her name but she works at the counter just before the entry to the timber section -management please find out from Steve who this person was - they have provided me with exceptional help. thank you ......once again fabulous service. thank you.

Refund and exchange counter was very helpful, much more helpful than the staff member at the Mt Roskill Bunnings store. Thought outside the box and solved my problem straight away so left the store happy. Also they have a large garden centre at this store. Security guy was friendly and greeted you as you came into the store. Lots and lots of parking and this Bunnings is in a handy location to the motorway.

Always struggle to get help in this store. I think it's purely the volume of people that visit this store, as it's always busy. Maybe a review of staff resources in the weekend is needed? Otherwise they always have what you need. They also have a cafe and a very small playground next to it. Food is average, and limited.

Picked up the argon welding gas, girl at the counter had no idea how to bring it up on the machine. Took 15mins and 3 people, and ended up getting it for a much cheaper price...

Bought another set of TACTIX Bluetooth earmuffs. $69. Looked at another set for $125 but that brand (3M) didn't have fm radio. What the F? M. The last ones lasted about 2 years before the Bluetooth started dropping out all the time. Probably a good run.

Mt Wellington bunnings is a great store for all your DIY needs. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Going out of their way to ask if you need assistance. Given DIY isn't a natural skill of mine I can ask them some rather curly questions but they always seem to have the answer. The site also includes a decent gardening and building supply section. Plenty of parking.
