I purchased some timber, a young man was very pleasant and helpful. I have found with the staff that I've spoken to regarding questions and stuff, they were all great with product knowledge.

Loving our new outdoor bistro curtains. Lovely team and very helpful. We got the dark version to help reduce light in our cabin during summer. Recommend getting the extra tie downs which are metal.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. They actually seem to like working there lol. Aisles are well labelled, and the garden centre is a decent size. Click and collect makes shopping a breeze if you're in z hurry...the pickup is quick.

Nice large shopping centre with very reasonable range, often plenty of staff around who will direct you in the right direction once you find one. They usually won't come to you, rather waiting for you to approach them. Plenty of parking with a garden centre and so-so coffee shop.

Impressive and a MASSIVE new store, big in size and being new, everything are in stock. I cant remember any other stores that can offer all this massive space and stocks it carries. Event the drive through lane is wider than that of Mitre10. Excellent LOCATION, THE BEST THING IS HEAPS UNDER COVER PAKRING!!! Which nearby Mitre 10 lacks. Mitre10 also now only opens 8am on weekends which is a turn off for many customers.. The Bunnings location is so close to motorway off ramp. Check out my photos, you will love the new store. Go for a visit. Try out their cargo lifts, for effortless moving your shopping from upper level to your vehicle downstairs. Really friendly team of staff too, great trainging from the management. Keep it up.

Just bought a lawnmower on Sunday the young man looking after that department was very knowledgeable and helpful, great customer service skills when someone else, a little impatiently, tried to get his attention while he was still dealing with us! The lawnmower was $100 cheaper than at Mitre 10 too!

Went in store Saturday and purchased gear, no problem. On requesting a quote for odd sized plantations shutters, the young gentlemen asked if he could take my email to save me waiting and he'd send the quote through. Its now Tuesday, no problem I'll just ring the store to follow up. Called 951 8400 to get a recorded message, which provides 7 phone numbers to call relevant departments plus one incomplete number before the the pipe music advert starts. Here's where the frustration begins, not 1 of the numbers got an answer after multiple calls. 1 of the 7 numbers is not connected. Called the main number 09 951 8400 again as at the end of the message it says hold for the next available operator, which never happens as the call shuts down. Come on guys, sort your act out.

One great place to shop for everything DIY...and what makes it special is the staff...they are knowledgeable and helpful...will definitely recommend them over their competitors!!!

Plenty of choice for the DIY enthusiast, as well as the professional tradie. Everything so well displayed , and priced. Plenty of underground parking, with a lift for both the people wth disabilities, parents with prams, or for those who have large, heavy items.

Always a pleasure to go to Bunnings. The stores are huge and have a great variety of goods. This time I was after a small slege hammer with a long handle. They had two to choose from and I went for the cheaper house branded one for $20. My last one got run over so if I am going to treat my stuff like that I deserve only the cheaper one. However the cheaper one and my old atlas look like they came out of the same factory so go figure.

Absolutely loved the store . Huge amounts of stock and a full range of all the brands . Layed out in the normal Bunnings NZ layout so it was easy to navigate through the store. As it is a new store and a Thursday when I came through there were few people in the store making it a pleasant experience to wander around it . Staff were helpful and friendly 🙂. Massive carpark underneath plus a trade drive through for timber and construction products. In my opinion the BEST Bunnings store in New Zealand !

What an absolute huge mega store, i got lost and had to ask for assistance. Has absolutely everything available with accommodating knowledgeable staff offering direction and advise. Perfect location carpark underneath so no getting wet on a cold winters day. The only let down was the cafe, lots of staff at the front, yet still a very long waite for a coffee. Training for 2 people to work the coffee machine is all that's required on busy days, otherwise i would've given 5 stars of perfection.

Store is great but ive been there 4 times this month and they always ask to check my receipt which I wouldn't have a problem with.. it's just the fact they let most people through without checking but always pick me out and other "certain" people. We asked her question about the plants, she said she doesn't know anything, she only put the plants on the shelves. Went to mitre10, the staff at the garden department very knowledgeable and helpful. So we ended up with purchasing products at mitre10 eventhough they are a bit more expensive.

Christmas bargains bit disappointing they have a sign saying everything is discounted, just to be told at register that is nothe case. But, overall is a good place for those looking for diversity.

Bought the last stock of an outdoor storage here, which was absolute perfect timing as it rained like crazy the night after the purchase (would have ended up with a lot of wet, messy stuff)! Staff were friendly, especially the guy in the counter—explained to us how the SuperCard worked (or didn’t, as for our purchase 😬) Anyway, such a humongous store that I can’t wait to go back to ane explore! Biggest Bunnings franchise operation in NZ. Its pretty impressive. Beautifully laid out Garden Centre, Cafe inside. Car parking underground for 900 odd cars. All the staff in red shirts with green aprons.

I’ve been to many “Bunningses” around akl, and this one I like the most - people working there are really great - always helpful, going above and beyond the expectations. Just a small example: we had a trolley with 400kg of river stones - the Bunnings employee just went ahead and called an elevator without us asking.

In the garden centre, there was no one to help me get the spouting bristles and the girl on the counter told me to go find someone. Really. Could they not have paged someone. Especially when you saw staff standing and talking in the middle section.

Finally Bunnings has arrived in Westgate. We've been waiting for this for quite some time. Now we don't have to drive all the way to Constellation, Wairau, or even New Lynn Bunnings.
