I had the most exceptional service from Stuart from lighting and Brett who is the security leader. I popped in to buy some batteries for my car remote and these two gentlemen not only helped me find the correct battery but put them in for me as well. Thank you for going the extra mile and for your friendly service. You guys are super stars!

I hope the employees receive an extra bonus for all the heavy lifting they need to do. At L3 we are instructed to stay in our vehicles at all times which means the employees have to do all the heavy lifting to load vehicles .. for which there was alot of! ..... awesome job 👍

We needed some board and a few pallets as we're moving a shed. The staff in the large store area were amazing. Great help on what board we needed and they gave us some free pallets which some muppet politely stopped his car and just took off with so they found us some more. No complaints and so helpful and polite. Every one of the 5 staff we interacted with was polite and helpful.

Mega Mitre 10 Albany carry a good range of Hardware and prices are in most cases well priced. Great Garden Centre, plenty of good stock.

I love hardware stores. Good parking and wide aisles. Standard hardware mega store. BBQ shopping at Xmas you expect chaos, but the lovely older pakeha lady (one of few staff in that section) was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. She was answering questions left, right and centre while tidying products … she knew what sale product I was talking about and exactly where to find it. After confirming we were at the right spot, she disappeared to help other customers then she returned with a trolley for us! 😳. We were still deciding if we wanted it (while comparing similar product at Bunnings 😂) and that just sealed it for us. We bought it and several other BBQ starter items. Seriously give this woman a bonus!! It was late on 22 or 23 Dec but I regretfully didn’t get her name… keep it up coz I’ll be back and proud to be supporting this Kiwi business 💕

Huge selection of goods. I particularly like the choice in the garden centre. Dissapointed with some of the more mature staff. They need to deal with their "less than helpful couldnt care less attitude"

Staff member saw me lifting a heavy umbrella box and offered to carry it to the checkout for me, which was amazing, and then he stayed while I paid and then he carried it to my car for me. A+ service.

Had very great shopping experience with polite and attentive staff. I visited the shop at around 5:55 pm today and I saw a very rude customer, if any complaints from this customer, I can prove that the staff didn’t do anything wrong.

Spotted a fan on the floor that I liked and it was on special, but there were no boxed ones. We enquired and was told it is the last one available, that is why it is on special. Promptly stuck it in my trolley to discover later it was nonsense. I could get stock elsewhere at the same price. I have no problem with floor models, but I don't believe they should carry the same price tag as new stock as they are "used". Otherwise not a bad shop. It was likely just a thumbsuck moment from the shop assistant, but it could have turned me off forever.

The one day I needed a filter for my spar pool. They were out of stock but the staff helped, to get stock from another branch and kept phoning me to keep me in the loop until the stock arrived. Great service.

We just received fantastic customer service from Chloe (sun umbrellas) and Ava (returns) this morning. Thank you so much to you both - your politeness and friendly and efficient service was much appreciated.

Incredible service! I purchased a bath over the weekend and by no fault of anybody's, it didn't have the clawfeet with it, so I got back in touch with them, they apologised and assured me they would have them sent out to my house asap, I did not expect them to arrive the next day! Especially during the Covid Pandemic! The bathroom team have been amazing, will definitely be back next week for some more items!

Didn't wait long. The staff were efficient and friendly. I liked the fact that the pick up parking was under the roof and didn't get wet on rainy day.

Re-opening day today and the store had lots of smiling staff ready, willing and able to make shopping there a really good experience.

Lots of helpful staff. The cafe has now moved downstairs. Foods the same being fairly good quality, great place to meet family if North and South of the harbour bridge.

Had a good experience here. Bought a large bulky item and one of the team wheeled it for me all the way to my car and helped load it. I didn't even have to ask. Large selection at this Mitre 10 and we'll stocked. Store layout is good to get around and find what you need.

I love this store for DIY even small stuff like clothes pegs......

Always check out the indoor plants as there is a good selection and not overpriced

All good, once you've been to one, you've been to them all. Nothing different really to all the other Mega's. Cool BBQ and outdoor selection and setup though, otherwise same junk for money you'll get at all of them. Caution when getting house and grounds gear. If you pay cheap you'll get cheap and 'boom' next time your weed eating or mowing the lawns. Not always the greatest brands in that section. Hardware very good. Bathrooms good. Electrical, building, plumbing, all very good selections. Careful with plumbing if you go to Placemakers too, different brands of plumbing bits that can be 1 or 2 mm difference very frustrating, so only get plumbing gear from one or the other. Otherwise, it's cool. Great café too.

What a great store, went in on Saturday to find a solution to a bracket system I required, and the sales guy was absolutely fantastic 👏 👌 a real character and new his stuff, to the owners of this store make sure you look after Gary, wat a great person and his boss was great to deal with 5 stars team.

It's rare for me to give feedback and it's usually bad. But, I came in during the week for some timber for an urgent repair for a family that had a minor disaster in their home. Considering we are in lockdown, the boys in the timber yard were their usual helpful selves. They even suggested a better solution which actually worked better for me. They were strict about the Covid rules and at the same time friendly. Well done Mitre 10, when you see most TV ads, the reality in store doesn't usually live up to ads. When I visit Albany store, it feels just like the ad, with me all the way! Keep up the great work Mitre 10 Albany.

Always have the best customer experience at Mitre 10. The lovely Scottish lady always greets us and points us to the right aisle and product we are looking for. And whilst walking around the other employees smile and say good morning or can I help you with anything. I had 6 staff greet me walking around asking if they could help me look for something. Amazing. However, go to Bunnings and they don’t want to know you and don’t know which aisle the products are. Mitre 10 your stars ⭐️. Keep up the great service.

Great customer service. You can get pretty much everything you need for any project in one spot! They now have a great screen to type in what you are looking for and it shows you where to find it on a map of the store.

I went in looking for a key safe for my batch that I had seen online. I couldn't find it. One of the busy staff passed me and said good morning. He then looked back and said, you look like you are looking for something in particular? I told him what I was looking for and he used his phone to identify the product and where it was stored. The product didn't do exactly what I wanted it to and he helped me find the right one with a built in light. All this with a smile when he was obviously busy. Great range, huge store, excellent service. What more can you ask for!

Always a pleasure going into this store. We have always found what we were looking for at a very competitive price. Staff are friendly, helpful and the store is very clean and tidy. Love the Garden Centre lots of plants to choose from and if you so wish you can sit down relax and have a coffee and something to eat. A great variety of delicious food.

I always enjoy going into Mitre 10 Mega, especially at Albany. It has staff whom are very kind and helpful, and a good work system. It exceeds my expectations every time, and outdoes many of its competitors. I can find everything I need at a reasonable price at Mitre 10 mega. 10/10 :)

A flagship Mitre 10 Mega with a huge amount of helpful staff, clean and generously sized store and it’s enormous when you consider the top level too. Really impressed with the customer service and how genuinely happy everyone seemed to be. Way more staff available for help/directions than bunnings. The store would definitely benefit from a directory service - either digital or manual. I never know where to go which is frustrating.

Went through click and collect and the system ran smoothly. Very happy with their service

Love this store. Most of the staff are fantastic! But this visit was a bit of a disappointment as the older assistant in the outside furniture area ( blonde and glasses) wasn't helpful at all. Instead if suggesting options she just told us we had to buy a new one. Not interested in us at all. Again love the store but sometimes you get unhappy staff.

When you ask a member of staff a question and they don't know the answer there immediate reply should be I don't know But I will find out now for you. Not hard to remember basic customer service and yes there is an improvement. Well done mitre10

There is something for everyone at this place. Products are well looked after and the shop is kept in good condition. A few more people at check out might be good given a line can form quickly and take a while to get to the front. Garden section is great and the staff seem to know what they are talking about.

Great range of DIY products and homeware. This store seems to focus more on homeware then DIY compared to other Mitre 10 or Bunnings stores. Prices are a bit higher than cheaper Bunnings but still worth a visit. Outdoor furniture range is excellent. Great cafe on site and I love the garden decor range. My garden is full of their ornaments range.

Not one to normally do reviews but had a lovely checkout operator, Holly, help me out in the weekend and think I heard her say Valerie for the other young lady in checkout with her. Absolutely lovely girls with the kind of personality you want serving you at checkouts! Will definitely be back!!

The product I was looking for didn't have a great range. The lower priced options were all out of stock. Staff were very friendly and helpful thou!

Was looking for the tools that my hubby was after. Staff helped me to find it in an instance. This was a year ago.

The place was good but to make it better on a Saturday I was been helped by a young boy name Joshua lee. He was extremely knowledgeable about the tools and taught me what I need and how to use and help me find all my items. It was a blessing to be served by him. He is definety an asset to the company. Nicely setup. It is a completely new setup to me compared to other m10 stores.

I did a click and collect last night at 8pm for a part for my shower. I was able to pick up at 8am on a Saturday morning during level 3. Upon arrival I was greeted and advised of the one way system. All staff wearing masks and keeping 2m distance. Had the order in the boot of my car in 30 seconds. Thanks to the team at Albany

Good quality tools! Very new and has good deals. Very wide variety of brands and types of tools in store and staff were all very willing to help. Highly recommended.

Very helpful and friendly staff! Great playground for the kids, conveniently next to the coffee shop. Only problem was the tantrum my 3 year old threw when we had to leave. The returns desk wouldn't take him either. ;)

Have always found the tools ants items i needed at this store. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Bodies is the Columbus coffee store attached on one side. Good coffee and food. Kids play ground for the smaller kids enables a more relaxing time while shopping

Went to buy a lawn mower. I didn't need anything fancy as there is not much lawn in the first place. Phil, the guy who I spoke with, was very friendly and helpful. Same for a couple of other staff. I got a small model, New Zealand made, and I'm quite happy with the purchase. As mentioned, staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of the time it's easy to get a car park. And if you need a short break make sure you check out the Columbus Cafe inside. The garden center is also well stocked and has a good selection to cover what you may need for an urban property.

Easy to find. Good mix of coveted (limited) and other off-street parking. Extensive range of gardening/landscaping, plumbing, painting, electrical and carpentry/builder stuff for enthusiastic DIY ers and most discerning professionals. In store toilet and plenty of space to enjoy a walk and browsing. Many helpful, but mostly pleasant and knowledgeable team members.

My thoughts after several visits; The staff are friendly and easy to converse with and customer service is excellent. Downside? shop carefully - prices tend to surprise you if you're not wary!!

The lady Lily who served us went above and beyond to get us the bbq we wanted as they hadnt got one up north here. Great store

Friendly staff and they have pretty much everything your average DIY'er could ever need. Never had any issues there in and out super quick. Picked up parks for the house, car and bike even the once and a while chocolate 😉. Remember your air points card a d keep an eye out for specials. It's a little tucked away but once you know there is always parking.

By far the best Mitre 10 Mega in NZ. Great staff, well stocked and what they don’t have in stock they will order in and keep you informed. Treat you more like a friend than a customer. I have other Mitre 10’s that are closer to me, but Albany is my go to DIY Store for a consistently great customer experience. Keep up the awesome work.

Fantastic staff on the floor who provide help and guidance when trying to find something. They are friendly, approachable but not too pushy. Checkout staff could learn a thing or two from them as I find them a bit cold and robotic. Good selection of hardware and a well laid out store. Undercover parking a benefit on wet days. Bringing Columbus Coffee downstairs was a great idea.

Great experience on our last visit we were after an outdoor furniture setting the team member went above and beyond to ensure we got the set in the configuration that we were after

Always friendly staff who are willing to help. Great selection of stock although a little hard to find things since the renovations to the store. The new garden center is fantastic with a much better positioned Cafè that is a far cry from the old one. The new trade entrance makes no sense especially if you want to get other items that are not in the trade section and it makes the carpark confusing for people to negotiate. Keeping my fingers crossed they will have a rethink about it and that is why I only gave 4 stars.

Great place for all DIY enthusiasts as well as equipment and supplies for tradies. A separate demarcated area is for large building material supplies. There is also a garden area with Columbus coffee shop on premises. Plenty of parking available. This place is highly recommended.Friendly staff.

Since this store first opened I've been impressed by the quality of customer service. During my most recent experience I had lots of help to solve my relatively minor problem but the most impressive staff member was Elanora. She used her own knowledge but also consulted other staff members to help me find a solution. I was impressed by the level of co-operation among staff. May that remain!

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable man helped me today which I was very grateful for as buying hardware is totally out of my comfort zone.

Visited the Albany Store on Sunday and was really impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of Staff. We started with breakfast at the adjoining cafe.. Colombus, and from placing our order to receiving our meals we encountered pleasant staff smiling and asking if we needed anything else n if everything was OK. We then strolled the Store for some stuff and from the garden personnel to hardware team... everyone smiles, enquired if we found our stuff or if we required assistance. It's been a while since I can recall receiving such welcome and friendly experience and was even more amazed with such consistency from all the staff there.. Keep it up guys.. Really great service!!

Every time im out on the hunt for my garden vegetable plants and flower plants trees or anything to do with the garden this is where ill go alway healthy, vibrant and a great selection to choose from

Very busy store...prefer smaller outlets where in depth knowledge of products is available via the staff...If you know what you want Albany is good, if not try a smaller outlet.

The woman are friendly and helpful most of the men quite rude. I am in a wheelchair so had to stop him as he walked down the walkway where apon he said yes didn't even look at me. There are other instances but can't be bothered going into them, even my grand daughter says to.me dont bother asking the men and she is only 12.

Great large store plenty of variety. Parking area good and didn't need to park far away. Had a bit of a problem finding a person to help with what I was looking for but once I found some help they where very knowledgeable and provided me with excellent help.

Had what we wanted, bathroom person (PC world - girl) was really helpful. Paint guys were fine but missed the chance to sell us more of what we needed, Columbus coffee to finish off nice.

Awesome spread of everything. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Especially fond of the gardening centre and they are expanding on that so it's just going to get better. Plenty of parking, well lit and under cover so you won't get wet.

We bought some deck timber from Mitre 10 Albany last month. Lindsay from the timber department is very helpful and very patient with us. He helped us with his great knowledge of timber. We'd like to thank Lindsay for his excellent customer service!

They had the flashings and other bits that I needed but they would not accept my Trade Card from Westgate Mitre 10 Mega so I left without buying any thing. That was a pity.

Nice service from staff during Covid-19 contactless pick up and they help you load your order into your car, staff follow the instruction and are patient, thumbs up for the hard working team!! Appreciate your help!

Couldn't wait for Whangarei mitre 10 to have stock so I shot down to Albany for the Nexus escape inverter by EGO. It ran my tv that had a 100watt draw!

Located in Albany, this is the largest Mitre 10 that I have ever seen nationwide. The parking is spacious, with levels both underground and upstairs. The range of products is remarkable, seeing individual popup brand shelving proves this fact. Staff are friendly, and there is alot to see. Would recommend even if you are not purchasing as the experience is amazing.

Bunnings repeatedly beating you on price lately, but still my preferred place to shop for quality and customer service. Need to sort out process for loan trailer hire, bit painful to queue at customer service desk waiting for product returns to be handled just to get a loan trailer bond refund.

Vastly expanded with new, excellent garden centre. I've found they have a good ratio of staff to customers which is very handy now that so much has moved to make space. I'd prefer a loyalty card to Airpoints, but that's just me.

IT is a very good to do all your DIY shopping and hardware under one roof and with the new added section for all your garden necessities, true bliss. The staff are always very helpful and make your shopping experience so much easier if you can't find what you are looking for. The New Coffee shop is awesome, great eats and snacks with very good coffee, even for take away. Garden furniture, barbeques, lawnmowers to make your whole shopping worth while. Brilliant overall shopping experience, very highly recommended

Good collection but staff are not very knowledgeable. Make sure there are bar codes on your items else you will have problem at the billing area, you will go all the way back to the place where you picked up the item. Below comment is the Reply to Mitre 10's response It happened with following Items: 1) Carpet fixed size: There was not tag/bar code on them, so the staff was not sure how to look up the items and two of them went back to check the item's physical location and couldn't find it. I had to go back and show them which was the section where they keep all the "carpets". 2) Umbrella: Again there was no bar code on it and the staff was unable to look up the item, he/she went back to check for bar code came back saying they can't find the item. He/She went back again on request of a staff member this time came back with a bar code but for a different umbrella model so I paid few dollars extra. 3) A brush used to apply butter in kitchen: Again no bar code, staff couldn't find it and I gave up this time decided not to buy that item.

Great had exactly what I wanted. Brilliant service, special shout out to Conner (?) in the garden section. Helpful both on the phone and in store, with his knowledge of plants.

Great service received by a very helpful and willing young man who offered to assist me with getting two small chairs and a table to my car on the second floor. I wish I could remember his name as he brightened my day. Another lovely lady with a Scotish accent, wbo was welcoming everyone was just as pleasant. Thanks Mitre 10. Dealing with assembling the flat pack is another story!!!!!

My go-to place for anything house hold and diy projects

Huge range of everything. . Got some lovely herbs. Didn't get the potting mix as too expensive 11.90.. I'm sure I've got the same size bags for 6 elsewhere. ...

Great place and staff pleasant and helpful. Reason only 3 stars because checkout doesn't seem to know about the garden club points system. Kings and Palmers have a card whereas M10Mega just the air points card so I don't know if the garden club points work. Never seem to get a discount.

Good store, lost of selection. I had a poor experience with an expensive lawnmower purchase. Lawnmower need a repair after second use and the store insisted on charging me for the repair. I do not purchase powered equipment from them anymore.

Pretty good store. Got lots of variety. Nice gardening section and a cafe. Can spend an hour or more in the store at any one time. Pricing can be slightly higher than Bunnings.

My local, staff here are friendly and helpful, store has a great range, always has the things I"m after, some regular items are fairly more expensive than other stores like your supermarket, like paper towels and laundry products.

Lots of staff in the store available to help. Pretty good kids playground here. Probably best for slightly older kids. Also ate at Colombus Cafe which was really busy on Sunday mid morning. You have your standard breakfast menu, nothing special, tasted good but again nothing to write home about. Kids menu had a good range but maybe slightly overpriced for what it is. Smoothies sounded delicious but taste didnt meet expectations.

Great layout for anything you need at home, we always find what we are after and if we can't, they have heaps of staff prepared to help. We also like the brands and variety -price is competitive too.

Purchased a product here that was not packaged with all components Was told that all the same items on stock were the same Was then advised to contact the importer direct as they they have tried for another customer and have not been able to obtain the missing component Why are they still retailing this product if they were previously aware that it is not complete Will possibly return my purchase for a refund Store has made contact and supplied the missing component Great follow up with excellent customer service A big thank you to management and staff for getting back to me and resolving the issue of the missing component

Big with a lot of stock. Some staff are very knowledgeable and the some are rude. Gary in nuts & bolts is my go to person - he knows his stuff and is very nice to talk to.

I go to this store every weekend. You can always find someone to help, even if just browsing around, staff will come and talk to you. They also can give good suggestions. Really recommend to everyone nearby.

So big! Excellent variety so many different products it almost feels tailor-made-to-purpose awesome prices too you can DIY or you can get it all set up for you, we were looking at showers because we are renovating our bathroom and there was a wonderful selection of ones that were already put together but there was also a great selection of components i loved it!

This is one of the larger mitre ten megas which means they have a large range and multiple options for what you are looking for. Staff were very helpful when I asked for recommendations about heating options and their bbq range is great. The only issue can be the bottom carpark can be abit of a nightmare to get in and out of.

Although I really didn't get what I went into store for, once I had customer service it was a good experience.

Got sold two items by Steve, the powertool "expert" to drill a hole. They didn't work together. Mitre 10 has a good exchange policy but making two trips to fix a staff members mistake is annoying.

They were very helpful and pleasant. Also have a nice play area for the little ones

Recently undergone a refurbishment, so many items were moved. The staff have been amazingly helpful when asked where to find anything. Keep up the awesome work Mitre10, my favorite place to find ANYTHING for my home!

So many staff around but nobody offers any assistance. Up your game guys. Heaps of selection, everything you could possibly need in one store...but doesn't help if you can't find anything.

They stock some good stuff. Bought the Wattle Decking Oil. Youngster made a mistake with which deck cleaner to give me, so had to go back.

Staff super helpful. Able to anticipate my needs and offer good suggestions.

Was there early. Can only enter through trade entrance which if you dont know where it is you can not see. Once in I was told that I can get out through the regular doors which was locked. Left through trade entrance and a long walk to parking only to see the regular doors are now open. Staff friendly though.

Excellent service. A massive selection. Shelves and isles were tidy and easy to find want you needed.

The car park entrance and exit is not as easy as it was before they added the timber yard. Sometimes it's to busy with mot enough car parks. The suggestion of parking by the garden centre entrance and using that entry and exit just proves my point. Forcing your home improvement customer further away from the main entrance. Additionally have only one drive way entrance just leads to congestion at busy times.

Great place. Really good layout. The Cafe has a fantastic playground for the kids while the adults play in the shop.
