It's a Mitre 10, but keep in mind they are franchises, so the experience is not the same in each store. I was impressed by the helpfulness of the store staff, and the store actually had stock (I went here because they actually had what I was looking for, none of the other stores did). Over all, happily impressed.

The 2 staff that helped us with our outdoor table purchase were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, assisted with getting the right product to keep our table in top notch condition and to top it off helped to take it to the car and loaf it in. Highly recommended.

I've found that depending on what department, the service is vastly variable due to a high proportion of young employees & so level of knowledge can be lower for some departments. I was in there yesterday and I found the vibe was Beautiful. Staff were happy and laughing. One of the Beautiful women at checkouts was even singing along with a song and it was so lovely to hear. A jolly gentleman stopped to offer me and trolley and someone in an isle offered me help immediately. Usually I find “men’s stores” very much hard work. I feel out of my depth. We purchased a 6 burner Masport BBQ during lockdown . It was delivered promptly, when we opened it there was a manufacturer defect on one piece that wouldn’t allow us to assemble it. We were all so upset as we had unpacked the whole box and was excited about our new BBQ. . We emailed this store immediately, within half an hour Greg, from the store, contacted us and within the hour he delivered the replacement part so we could build our amazing BBQ !! Thank you Greg for the great customer service!!! We will be cooking our first steaks tonight !!

Website states product availability, however once transaction is processed, I'm forever receiving a phone call to advise that they don't have the item in stock..... I find the staff very helpful, Derek is the man to go to for mixing paint, he is really good at what he does. I would never let anyone else do the job, the staff that have worked at this store a wee while, some of them are very knowledgeable. Brian in Hardware is another good one knows everything hardware, Bernie in Garden centre also very good at what she does. My go to staff make coming to this store better, you can see and tell who take pride in what they do, and the ones that are always happy to help.

Great visiting this place, close.to home for my daughter and offers a great selection in good and garden centre. For all the shopping at this garden centre is it a shame there are no incentives to continue, loyalty card in the garden section would be highly regarded by committed gardeners.

Needed staff assistance to get something from the shelf, staff memeber I asked wasn't from that department so he went to get someone to come help, no one showed up but original staff member came back, managed to find someone to help him and then sorted out what I needed. The customer service is just amazing. We bought a house and have plenty of things to do. I am usually dealing with James who always help me to find what I need and give me advice to success my projects. He is always patient, smiley and comprehensive. I am non native english speaker and sometimes struggle to explain what I want, James is always helping. They have a really good staff.

Oh my gosh, the staff are AMAZING. I cant even count how many team members saw me standing around waiting for an order and asked me how I was or if I needed help, plus the lady who was helping at the desk kept updating me on how long it would take when she wasn't helping others. Even as I was leaving someone was finishing their shift, with all their bags in their hands, and they took the trolley from me and said they'll take it to the trolley bay for me after I'd finished unloading it. The greatest example I've ever seen of customer service. I walked away literally floored by how nice everyone was.

Mitre 10 is a great store to get a very large range of things, to do with Bbq pool chemicals, plants and anything else to do with those products and many more. Their team are amaizng at Westgate I was looking for a BBQ cleaning kit, and we asked one of the staff, and unfortunately we couldn't find it but the man who helped us tried his very hardest to find it even after we had stopped looking. :)

I make it a point to always check here before shopping elsewhere but I also check the prices at competitors - Mitre 10 is always happy to price match and beat it by 15%, whats no to like! This is the best store I have been to, to only are they well stocked and clearly set out the staff are very friendly, helpful and obviously well trained and knowledgeable. It is also the only Mitre 10mega where I have seen the owner interacting with customers, helping with their queries or just collecting trolling. I have also seen the owner take a trolly out to a car for someone and assisted with the lifting into their car.They are actually the best one stop shop there is. If they don’t have it, you don’t need it.

Hello I said in a tired and less than appreciable way for it was Monday morning and I had work needing completing. "Good morning sir, how can I help ?", came the reply. A handsome well attired staff member greeted me. " I have a broken paint scraper" " No problem, just this way sir" In a few moments I had the right solution. I won't be scaling with a putty knife again.

The best Mitre 10 in my opinion. I have been in a few and this store is a stand out. The gift section is amazing you must have a look through even if you were there to buy a hammer. The staff are very knowledgeable no matter what part you are in and if they don't know something they'll find someone who does. I have practically lived in this store while doing home reno and have never been put wrong. Everything you need is here including the kitchen sink! The Columbus cafe attached is great, I often go there even if I'm not buying anything from Mitre 10.

Thus Mitre10 Mega is a new look store with all the trimmings. Other than being situated quite far from the North West mall, it's a very convenient place for all your hardware requirements. The selection of goods to choose from is pretty good. Pricing is not very competitive.

Nice large shopping centre with very reasonable range, often plenty of staff around who will direct you in the right direction, but they usually won't come to you, rather waiting for you to approach them. More expensive than Bunnings but you can lean on the 15% off offer on most purchases. Plenty of parking with a great garden centre and coffee shop.

Good size store with the massive range you would expect. Columbus Cafe on-site are ok. A bit on the expensive side, but that is Columbus all over, not Mitre 10's fault. Good playground. Good to keep kids of all ages entertained for a bit of a break. Really big fan of the car-trolleys they have for kids. The plastic sit-in car with the trolley on top. Great idea and lets you get more browsing done before kids get bored.

Just your classic Mitre 10. Was very excited for the sausage sizzle run by the SPCA. Brought two of what I thought would be top notch snags only to have my heart wrenched from my chest as I learnt they were vegetarian. Now being a millennial I didn't want to make a fuss, so I just smilled at the lady and accepted my hay infused celery sticks complete with onions and the last of the tomato sauce. Well I was in for a rollercoaster of emotions! As I inserted one end of my imitation sausage into my gob I was over come with the deliciousness that my non-master hand now held within it. They were bloody good celery sticks. GG SPCA.

Has everything you can imagine a Mega Mitre 10 needing. Currently (2016) there is ample parking in the area, making a visit here less of a hassle than one of the Mega Mitre 10s elsewhere further into town. The Columbus Coffee cafe is quite nice and always has specials. Just inside Mitre 10 from the cafe is a large playplace. There are a few tables there as well, making it easy to keep an eye on the Kiddos.
