Weve been visiting Stihl Shop Albany for decades - Baden, Jude and Pete know their stuff! I'm always confident Mr Jay and I will receive top notch advice, and friendly and efficient service from the team, along with a good dose of banter. If service or a new garden tool is required, they get our custom every time. Today Jude sold Mrs Jay the GTA 26 Pruner and HSA 26 shrub/grass trimmer to add to Mr Jay's stable of Stihl toys, oops, I mean tools. Her knowledge and retail expertise are impressive and her calm personable manner legendary.

They helped me with advise on the right Line Trimmer for my needs - did not try to up-sell and recommended I buy the cheapest model in the range since that fits my needs. Pricing is also very competitive compared to M10 and Bngs... highly recommend stopping at this shop before you make your next garden tool purchase.

Great shop. Found what I was looking for a future purchase. Purchased a Stihl GTA 26 Garden Pruner today and the guy was very helpful. Stihl Albany always has a great selection of products with plenty of stock. Definitely recommend going there if you're after any type of outdoor power equipment or even a barbecue as they sell Weber Gas and Charcoal BBQs.

Having purchased a Weber bbq (they're fantastic by the way) from these people a few years back and subsequently been back to buy accessories and consumables I had no hesitation in returning when I needed a long (pole) hedgetrimmer. I dealt with Dawn who provided comprehensive, knowledgable assistance on which model would suit. I had been concerned that a battery operated model would have insufficient cutting power but Dawn assured me it would be up to the task ... and it is! Highly recommended for service, professionalism and store presentation as well as top products..

I've shopped at various STIHL Shop stores in Auckland. In my opinion this is one of the best and so I made a point of driving the extra km's to visit it. There is just so much stock on display and in a beautifully well laid out showroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they know what they are doing. It was a pleasure to deal with them. I brought a $295 line trimmer that was perfect for what I needed and with the addition of $50's of anything else I wanted in store, I was able to get some extra line and some garden tools for no extra cost. It really made it worth while.
