This story was my second home for Christmas lights this year and the staff are the nicest people i would like to say a big thank you to bunnings Airport and to the person that come over last night on the 24th and put a gift card in my letter boxes thank you once again
M.I recently came in to your lovely store to price out some powertools and hardware for a decking project, and received magnificent help from 2 of your staff! I believe they were Quinn and Andre from memory. Both really knew their stuff and helped me to construct and confirm my plan! R.Don't normally visit this store but my home branch had no stock. Couldn't find what I was looking for so asked a young fella called Jack.
He went out of his way to help me as he initially couldn't find it either. He came back to me with all the right answers. Service was fantastic from this young fella to me as the old timer. Highly recommend Jack at Bunnings Airport. 5 stars!

Visited on public holiday, so seemed like limited staff to assist. Had to looking for a staff member to ask where an item we wanted was located 😥

A.Big modern store with open plan layout, but unfortunately being so open creates a bit of a wind tunnel through the store.
Sadly, I've noticed some of the staff being inexperienced in their allocated isles. After all Bunnings pride themselves having the trade experienced assistance?
A.Bunnings is always a good visit. The young lady in the gardening section was a wealth of knowledge. Staff are friendly and informative. Good range of stock with alot of variety.
R.Needed a new lawn mower blade. The ordering for this item was handled by a competent and helpful young lady. The overseas follow up was quick and efficient
K.Charlotte in the Trade Department is a real credit to your store. Knowledgeable, friendly, happy to help, able to easily explain to us the different tools, and the best way to purchase them. In our case a multi buy. Charlotte is a great asset to this store.
A.Tried to buy a Dulux test pot of Sandstone paint for a small repair to our garage flashing entrance,however,hey had no stock,however,the salesman did try to upsell me to a spray can,and a larger test pot,however,as I said to the salesman,it was a overkill and also too expensive option as it would probably be never used again,so went to Mitre 10,not a Dulux supplier,but we're able to offer me a small Resene test pot of Sandstone equivellent and at better price,lovely sales lady,very helpfull.
J.What a great place. Had to visit to get an insite on deck painting. Annie from the airport branch Harewood was out of this world. So helpful and full of knowledge, you need to keep staff like that and pay them well to stay with you. Our deck will look great once it's done.
H.Mostly get what we need as long as we look for it ourselves. Service is not the strongest selling point here. Always clean and tidy and the coffee is pretty good and cheap.
A.Found there to be a lack of staff on the floor. Those in the kitchen area seemed uninterested in helping - gave up waiting. However we really needed some cable cut so for those that also have found this branch to be understaffed I have a work around. Give this number a ring 03-7400700, tell them what aisle your in, what you need and hey presto someone will appear to help you - worked a great for me

G.I wanted some curtain hooks that were not a regular item for sale. They were sold in a kit. To my surprise this company offers a service to get those tricky items. Excellent service. It's the little things that make you value good service. Thank you.
A.Very busy place. They have almost everything you can think of under one roof. For loading large items you can drive into trade area and load up your trailer. Overall very good experience. Most staff is friendly and helpful.

I.Great store seems to have everything you could ever need, self serve machines weren't working which made buying anything slow, I'm sure it's because it's only been open a few weeks. Staff very friendly and the paint staff new what she was talking about. We Will be back.

M.It's a good hardware store. I like it because it is usually not as busy as all the other ones. Even when it is busy it's big enough to handle it.
г.Good place to get things you wanted. There is always a parking space for you. However, staffs are not always available to help. They will look at you very seriously and it makes you think they are unaproachable.

C.Compared to other major hardware store (ever same brand) in Christchurch. This one have the best shopping experience. Staff friendly, stock levels and location matched website information, the best is no parking issue. I'm more than happy to drive extra couple of km for better service when i have time.

J.I have been going to Bunnings for many years and the staff members have always been very helpful when I have asked them about a product,band if they don't know they then call or find a staff member who can answer the question. If they don't have a part they then will often find out who does. This has been consistent over many years. A lot of the staff I interact with, who I have come to know well, speak very highly of how they are treated as staff members. So that's why I give Bunnings 5 Stars.👍😁

K.I am a frequent shopper at Bunnings Christchurch Airport because the staff are always so helpful and friendly.
Today I felt so sorry for the team members in the drive through Trade area, that wind cutting through there felt like -5, surely you could get some windbreak up around the exterior fence for them. Must be awful to work in there all day with the weather coming in on them. I was frozen just in 10 minutes!!

A.I live close by and went in today to get more potted colour. I honestly have never seen so many dead, sad plants in my life at any nursery/gardening centre. I felt genuinely depressed seeing so many plants in such a state. I was in the outdoor garden centre with my partner, who felt the same as me...sad and disappointed with there being NO staff out there at all for the whole half hour we were out there...we didn't see ANY staff members the whole time..We had price queries and wanted to raise the very real, important issue regarding the MANY dying plants because we care...so on our way out we saw a lovely young man working in the indoor garden area whom I asked about this and I was informed that this helpful, friendly young man was working on his own trying to water everything inside first then he would try do the rest outside... that honestly concerns me! A garden centre this size should have at the very minimum 3 full time staff members to keep on top of all the many duties! I would know as I worked full time at a local out door gardening centre smaller than this and we had 4 full time staff all day! I only bothered writing this as I tried to call through as we left, 3 times, and got NO ANSWER, another thing I couldn't understand.. No directory or anything? Also, as we left, my partner kindly took his time to sort out your trolleys outside as they were all over the place as there also was no staff members sorting the trolleys out. Please sort out your staffing issues!

n.Purchased a 4 in 1 trimmer but found one attachment not there. Went back in the weekend but the guy who served us didn't want to know couldn't be bothered to even get someone else. Went out of store frustrated as he said go to Riccarton store.
Went back during the week the guy was great helped get another attachment.

J.Everything you need for home and garden. The size of the place can be overwhelming but because of great service not a problem. People give great advice re home and garden jobs.
S.Great garden centre full of what you need. The plants were in excellent condition. Had a great coffee at the cafe too with very friendly pleasant staff.
J.Very few people in this new store so shopping easy. They didn't have a fitting that I wanted for my hose and there was no staff nearby to ask. Shame that many of the plants in the garden centre were wilting through lack of water. Everything looked very dry and I didn't want to buy.
S.Had to look for someone for help, in the security camera display they didn't know the password to be able to show the different cameras, but young man who finally came to help us was very helpful.

S.The range is almost unparalleled. When your looking for something, you are spoiled for choice. The staff are also more than happy to help you with most things. Only small dilemma was that some tools which are common, you'd think there would be more of a selection. But unfortunately only about two options on some. e.g. ratchet ring spanners, torque wrenches....etc.
Still...it's deserving of the 5 stars.

C.3stars we went there yesterday to buy a BBQ but we found on some of them are only display only not for sale. So Its time for bunnings to get them out of the shop and display the ones that they are selling not the deleted ones shame one you.
T.Big branch with friendly staff, but the indoor plant selection is small, sad & over priced.... Especially the reduced due to death plants, they shouldn't be $20. Sidenote, good covid response!

N.The store itself is great, however the cashier rung up 3 paint brushes instead of 2 which is rather frustrating as it's not worth the drive all the way out there for the refund of one paint brush... however I do realise it was a mistake anyone can make.

P.I rang from Perth Western Australia wanting a couple of plants be sent to my 91yo Mother who lives in Christchurch for her birthday.
I spoke to Jacqui Planicka who then sent me photos of the types of flowering plants available for me to chose from. She then sent me another photo showing how she had wrapped and decorated the box with the plants in followed by another photo of my Mother receiving her birthday present. Jacqui was exceptional with her service going way beyond anything I could ask for.

s.Bunnings has it all. It's got an indoor playland and cafe right next to it for kids on a rainy day. Friendly and attentive staff, super helpful.
