We just got a bearded dragon and all the staff especially Debbie was amazing showing me and my wife the right information and set up for our dragon. They have everthing you need and you won't have to shop anywhere else

Love just going for a look. They have a wee walk way with a pond full of turtles and fish. And inside there is a great selection of fish to buy for your tank. They even have full sets of fish from finding Nemo. The kids love it.

What a surprise this place was. Wanted a pond found it on Google. Off we went not knowing what to expect WOW... what a hidden gem. Even if you don't want fish. Once we purchased, we asked if we could walk our dog around to explore, of course they said. Facinating, turtle pond , simple and lovely gardens. The only thing missing on this very hot day was the ice cream to sit and watch the turtles. Lovely people, amazing place. Will recommend it

Awesome place great knowledge full range of accessories and a healthy looking fish highly recommend people that don't live in the area to go the extra mile to get there :) and too the plonker that said all there fish died don't blame the shop lol what a joke. And the person that got talked out of buying anything clearly redwood aquatics has the care of animals before making a dollar and making sure you are making the right decision before you buy can be very busy in there so staff could be busy I believe the negative comments on here can easily be explained 5 star ranking does apply ;)

Got very poor advice, was being fobbed off, given the wrong fish for my small tank, that don't go together either. I'll never go back there. I'd heard great things about it, but really had the opposite experience. Obviously depends who you get. I'd advise to know exactly what your talking about, rather than along for advice in there.

Great place to visit even if just to have a look. This is a pet store with a difference, the owners have a real passion for the hobby. This passion can be seen in both the store layout and the customer service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I buy here every time I go to Christchurch.

This place is amazing! Some beautiful and well looked after fish, massive variety along with all the bits and pieces to go with a tank whether it be tropical, marine, reef or just cold water. Owner is informative and helpful and collects fish and advises what will go together and what won't, will be a regular to visit here :)

Rodney is a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. I asked if he could source me a specific type of fish, he contacted his supplier while i was in the shop. The fish were there the next day as promised. Highly recommend to all looking for excellent fish stocks.

One of biggest in Christchurch, staff are friendly and helpful. They have a big turtle pond with Chinese garden bridge and beautiful rose garden. You just need to walk pass the door at cold water pond area (please don't access without permission if the door closed)

I have a 12m fishpond with cave and waterfalls and all the whistles. Unfortunately, even with trees and shrubs planted close to the pond its exposed to the Canterbury sun. Redwood Aquatics have well educated staff who know an answer to every question I had. Also had every solution to a problem on the shelf. I can't see why I should go somewhere else.

We have only dealt with this place on Trademe and decided to visit, when we were in chch. There was quite a selection range of reptile accessories and food . Perhaps abit small the premises inside but well presented. And clear sections for each. Fish. Birds. Reptiles. Cats.dogs etc Would visit again.
