G. S.Well sized outlet with a comprehensive range of products. Prices appear comparable with all other outlets, with the same service standards. There is an option by a third party service provider to rent a van on site to transport your bulky items back yourself. Pro Tip: always drive over to Mitre10 if you're parked elsewhere at The Base as it can be a pretty long walk otherwise.
D. W.Beautifully clean store throughout. Garden stock seems to be low every time I pop in. But overall, great customer service and everyone is willing to help. Ladies at the customer service desk are very helpful and efficient. A great example of how a Mitre 10 mega store should be run! Bunnings needs to up its game.
L.Great place to get what you want. Its a big shop so you need to take your time. All aisles have boards showing whats in them. If cant find it just ask.
Customer service is great. Look nothing is to much trouble. I wanted 5 black crates but there were none on shelves so one of the staff happily got about 10 down for me. It sometimes does take alittle bit of looking to find a staff member but they are around and usually very busy so keep looking and be patient. Most have a great product knowledge too.
There is a fantastic outside garden part with wide range of plants, trees and accessories.
Lastly dont forget the cafe located inside the shop. Yummy yummy food.

P. K.It's huge. Tools, timber, garden and plants, paint, acres of them, lots of everything. The stock is generally good quality or a bit cheap and nasty, go somewhere else for the top of the range stuff.
The staff are friendly, but the store is so big that they can be hard to find. Plenty of parking outside. There is a cafe in a corner of the store, which is a nice touch. There are toilets in store too.

D. R.Bought a sun umbrella shade from another retailer who didn't have the stands. Sold out they said. Won't know when the stock will arrive. So off to Mitre 10. Asked staff. Same story. Impossible! Oh well DIY it is. Then asked another staff. Wait she says, and asks another staff. Nup all sold. Nothing. Pauses, ah only water filled she replies walking away. Where we ask? Over there, still walking away. Where, again we ask. Points and keeps walking. So if you're looking for a sun umbrella stand that you fill, ask for the water stand? Who'd have thought younger staff didn't make the connection. I'm writing this sitting under the shade of a lovely umbrella.
R.Really like the lay out of this branch, staff are well equipped with knowledge and are helpful all ways going the extra step. Strong management on board. Keeping customers satisfactory up.

m. u.ive always liked shopping here and should really give them credit for an issue beyond their control , i bought a well known brand line trimmer and it died on day one and the NZ agent was just taking their time and generally being a pain in the bum including saying it would take months to fix , I talked to the floor manager at Mitre 10 te rapa and they said it shouldnt be my issue so the gave me my money back no arguments , ill keep going back for service like that

T.Just had the best customer's service ever from a store, I rang thru to order paint on talking to the Cust service rep realized I had ordered the wrong paint previously :-/ He advised not to worry and rang around for some advice he contacted me back and talked me thru some choices on paint he thought I should use, spent more then intended but on the right stuff and value for money considering how much paint I would need over the long term, ROBB in the paint department your amazing!! N. E.We are renovating our home and purchased our 2nd kitchen here and when it came time to deliver we had experienced some hurdles that complicated the whole project - these things happen right. It wasn't addressed immediately but when it was addressed it was superstar service from then on out, "where there is a will there is a way" became the mantra. They certainly went the extra mile at the that point! We experienced COVID lockdown halfway through this and therefore had no kitchen for this period which was difficult on our family, not having a means to cook and no takeout options available to the country - the store manager sent a microwave size mini oven to us at no charge to see us through this period to which my family is forever appreciative. Talk about "be kind" and a true "kiwi business". Happily leaving 5 well deserved stars today.

J. T.I went to Mitre 10 to buy a water bottle for watering overhead plants. The woman explained to me that they're having trouble getting stock so there ain't none available. However, she told me how to make a bottle with a piece of hose. She even showed me where the hose was. Very, very helpful and also knowledgeable. A+ experience.

I have bought enough over this last month to own shares! Oh, and they have a great little Cafe inside as well that serves up a really decent Eggs Benedict.

I do however find the website hard to navigate when i want to find a product. For example i know you stock a lot of timber products but how do you find a particular item and sizes ? . Maybe a guide for products on the home page for the more "web challenged" lol?
