T.Excellent store with much affordable prices as compared to other general stores. Excellent service with friendly staff.
P.Usually helpful friendly staff. One of the better branches but such a shame they seem to have replaced the younger staff who would offer to carry your purchase to the car and go out of their way to help with 60yrs+ sometimes less helpful, almost indifferent staff who prefer to point to an aisle rather than walk with you. It was a main reason I went there, you can't beat being respected as a customer.

1.I'd prefer to give this store a 3.5, but not a 4. The store is reasonably well stocked and quite tidy, and the staff are passably helpful and cheerful. But while the prices are OK, I often find they don't have what I want, whereas Mitre 10 usually does. The layout isn't as intuitive as it could be, and parts of the store feel "tired". I'm not sure what it is, but I always come away from Bunnings feeling disappointed. My mum enjoys shopping there because their mulch and garden fertilizer is well priced, and they usually have a fair selection of reasonably priced plants, especially annuals. But since those things are of no interest to me, the lacks in other things leaves a negative impression on me.
J.This has to be the best bunnings store I have ever been to ,very well stocked and such a better layout where you walk straight into the centre of the aisles that branch off left and right and the staff were very friendly and helpful

M.I love diy projects, bunnings has affordable prices, but the last visit i wanted some paint samples and waited 20mins before leaving without paint so I went to Resene where there was no line and great service I couldn't wait because I was 37weeks pregnant with sore feet. No one was at the paint counter and I pushed the buzzer 3 times

More variety, more stock, worth driving a half hour to visit and can see why it was so packed on Sunday. Am super stoked with the prices as well. 2 thumbs up as staff very knowledgeable where their stock is.

T.A bit of a cramped shop too much in the isles and a bit of a mess but we found what we wanted but needed help to find it.

H.My favourite shop not just people friendly. My dogs love shopping there and always get warm welcomes when I take them there. Jonty is amazing he goes out of his way to point me in write direction and finds the write person to help if he unable. Love this place.
T.We love this place and always go there when we need something, but today the service was a little disappointing. Couldn't find one person on the floor and when we eventually found someone we had to wait for them to finish chatting just so we could be sent from the one to the other to no avail. Felt really disappointed as we always choose to go there over any other stores.

G.Today was the first time I've visited Bunnings for hardware supplies in over two months. I was surprised at the level of tidiness and organisation within the shop. It made finding what I was looking for easier. The only minor thing was the plumbing pipe and cawl I was looking for was out of stock.

S.Excellent service from Te. Second time I have been assisted by him and he goes one step further in customer service, if he doesn't know he will go and find out! Must admit aisles were a bit cluttered and a bit of a Hazard so that is why I haven't given 5 star. But overall great!
J.I think that bunnings in Hastings has the greatest garden centre in the area ,great plants and great lady running it ,especially love all her little specials that just need abit of TLC to bloom into a second life .Great to see a shop that doesn't waste perfectly good plants .
V.Went into Bunnings hasting to buy 6 x charcoal directors chairs on a Saturday. First staff member told us 9 in stock so just go to lady at checkout. Lady at checkout told us probably not 9 as recent stocktake mucked up correct number count . This ended up big blurb and phone call to Tauranga . Meanwhile on my phone in front of her I bought 6 x chairs no problem even though lady still trying to tell me they would still have to source from someone else and went into her blurb about stocktake . Unnecessary info to give customers. We left feeling bit frustrated. Next minute that same day a couple of hours later a message to say click n collect ready for collection. So much for sourcing elsewhere. A simple I’ll take your name and number and will call you when I find out how many chairs we have here would of sufficed . On the other hand when we picked them up next day another lady was friendly found chairs no problems wished us a lovely afternoon. Left finally happy 😃

B.This is a huge Bunnings store located in the old Warehouse building in Hastings. They have such a huge selection of hardware, tools and gardening accessories that it can be quite overwhelming.
They have helpful staff, although if they are busy it can take a while to find one with time to spare.
They also have fantastic prides comparatively. I always look at this store before the likes of Mega Mitre 10 simply due to price. I highly recommend this store.

I drove the 36ks to collect, only to find that Hamilton had sent the wrong one. So it is still on order and it's now been a week. Watch this space .
