Nice store, well presented with a great range and had the bigger items we were looking for like a Weber, DeWalt Blower etc. in stock. Bit disappointed there wasn't staff proactively asking if you need assistance but they were standing close by. I did end up googling my questions and choosing the items based on web reviews.

Hi Mitre 10 Hastings, I would like to thank the young gentleman Quade, who came out of nowhere and offered to load 3 heavy bags of compost into my car and even returned the trolley for me. It seemed like he was on his break as well! I hope he is recognized for his kindness. Thanks again Quade :)

Great got what I needed....although store policy needs them to scan every item EVERY ITEM I had a few bins 50 litre bins exactly the same and other stuff ok so with people packed behind me and they need to scan the same bins bit of a waste of time Mr Mega policy makeing person. But your staff are polite so my response is the same but Cmon....

If I could do 3.5 I would. I wandered around looking for split rings in particular and I didnt get asked if I wanted help. So for something different instead hopefully it works for what I need it for.

Mitre 10 mega today , Saturday the 23rd of may, was fairly busy. With people catching up on things around the home & garden, the staff were quite busy , but that didn't stop them from being very helpful. Special thanks to the people in the bathroom and plumbing department; Travis # one and Travis # two had to be very patient with my questions and technical queries about a bathroom project I am preparing to embark on. Thanks to them we just about have all the plumbing parts sorted! The only photos I can show are of what these guys are helping to save me from!

What can I say? Another enormous store which has taken away all the local convenient supply shops. It's a shame that besides the mostly welcoming and friendly staff in most departments, I have experienced on more than one occasion, some not so nice (even grumpy) staff at the timber department. Are they are not happy in their job? (Maybe for management to work out.) Just remember, -- a smile goes a long, long way.

Good for window shopping just like Harvey Normans if you have deep pockets I recommend you go if you don't just go for a look see what there is and make your own mind up when you are installed loads of staff mainly talking with themselves but do venture sometimes to talk with customers

I'm a women and I just love browsing this store. Its an awesome place to shop...I've been there so long at times that I've needed a toilet...and guess what, they have toilets and they are clean toilets, cleaned frequently, which is lodged for everybody to see. I have been to the cafeteria but did find it a tad expensive but nice. Honestly this is a "one stop shop storey". The staff are friendly and helpful 99% of the time. The garden centre is fabulous, u feel like you're in a park, so much to look at... Better then Oderings by a long shot. Love it, love, love it.

This is actually one of my most favourite stores and l probably visit here most weekends. Not only can you get all your DIY needs but they also have a fabulous garden centre and a cafe to keep you feed and hydrated while you shop. Something that you wouldn’t expect to find in a store like this is a great interior decor and homewares section and I have purchased lots from here including high quality mugs, but bowls, candles and a even lovely scarves. This is a fabulous one stop shop.

Went in to buy screws to hold support for mums stick vacuum. Not only did Michelle help us find the right ones she offered to put it up for us. We brought her round and it was up in no time and we took her again. Would not take anything for it. Lovely young lady. Hang on to her mitre 20, you got a good worker there :-)

We only shop at Mitre Ten for all our hardware and gardening needs, this business knows its products well, the staff are always helpful and certainly knowledgeable. Forget the other guys who claim to "beat any competitor's price by 15 percent" (their premises could do with a really good clean) as the staff are next to useless as far as product knowledge is concerned.
