M.Bunnings stores generally have a great range of stock - and this store provides a back order (special order) for many things not held locally (and 'specials' advertised nationally).!
The store is central to Kerikeri township which means you can drop off hangers-on and shop in peace. Easy access to off-street parking, and pretty good range of stuff (trade, diy, and random bits) at pretty sharp prices, and some great deals besides.
Cordial and helpful team members- some more pleasant and humorous than others.

J.I couldn’t find an item in my local store and no one could assist me. I called up the Kerikeri store and these guys were on to it. Not been local I had my product the following day with no hassle. Customer service is definitely tops here. Well done guys and girls.

C.This bunnings warehouse could do with an expansion. The amount of customers needing numerous products are limited by its size. Hence, the lack of the variety of products it can offer is limited. Also, the parking is very tight due to its high volume of customers.

D.Now the refit is complete, the stores functionality has improved. People forget this is a small format store and a vast amount of products need to be ordered in through Special Orders. Unfortunately, due to the large volumes of orders, and location of the store, that does take time. Despite clearly stating that 'not all products available in store' on the website, the team strives to obtain products desired.
H.Reasonably well stocked, a bit oddly laid out and tricky to find things. Staff are helpful although an extra one on the till when busy would be great.
K.Bought some hoses, six year guarantee but one of three's fittings just fell off. Day one minute one. Instant credit on all three, no drama, will get the blue Pope instead, with the crimped fittings. Another one of their inexpensive hoses with an excellent guarantee. Pope.
L.Bunnings has been a strong & once upon a time the only provider for the average person to get home supplies. However I've noticed that the standards both regarding the physical condition of the building internally, products available and staff attitudes are not very good in my lastv 2-3 visits. The floors are always dirty, building very glum and stock disheveled inside, a staff member at my last visit actually complained to me that he was late getting to his lunch break due to short staffed which made me feel stink that he was called over the intercom to begrudgingly assist me. Counter staff have not been very friendly either, it makes a huge difference to my shopping experience. I now go to more open spaced supplier and friendlier staff in Waipapa. Hopefully the owners are addressing the staff issues and have a future plan for refurbishment.
A.Bit sloppy, bit out of date. It could do with a proper redo (not as flimsy as last year) but, prices are low and staff is friendly. You can't find a blimmen thing but if you ask, eventually you'll get what you want....or not

.I have to re-review bunnings as i feel they have dropped the ball in handling trading in lockdown, terrible at contact and ordering system is fragmented for trade account holders..I like to shop at bunnings because of the range of products however the experience in the last week has left me bitter. Have shopped at mitre10 and their system is easy and straightforward
