C.Wow, yesterday on a public holiday - I called for some help with a garden fence project - Sally immediately had me at my ease and in a few minutes she had it all sorted out. We collected the materials a hour later and the whole process was very quick and even enjoyable. My son and I were so impressed with the service and we hope that we come across similarly with our own customers! It seems to me that Mitre 10 opens to suit its customers while the other suppliers operate at hours to suit themselves - much appreciated.
A.I have always found the staff helpful and willing to assist. I also needed a spare part which was not in stock and had to be ordered from a supplier. My details were taken and I didn't expect much to come of it ...to my surprise the part was ordered as promised.
J.Brought 5 hellebore plants as the sign said 5 plants for $25 and they were in the tray directly underneath and beside the sign. Only to be told first at checkout that's $39.85 was then passed onto customer service who then passed it on to some random employee who then dissapeared for ages only to return with someone from the garden dept and finally told no sorry not those ones are on sale every other plant in a 90mm pot was but not those. In the photo you can see a hellebore actually touching the sign. Bring on Bunnings I say.
M.Tim was fabulous and definitely knew his stuff. If you need anything to do with painting/staining etc. Go and see Tim! He'll sort you out!
B.Yes there is hand sanitizer as you walk in, posted i hadn't seen any but it was there, aplogies mitre10 masterton. Not busy found what we needed, customer service person was great, gave good advice on what we needed for the job.

M.There are bigger Mitre 10 Mega stores, but I've not had a better experience that the Masterton one. To be honest I've been a Bunnings shopper till now, great team here, why drive further than you need to?

Disappointed management wont update the covring on the bench seats. Those cracks in the old vinyl have been scratching and snagging for at least the four years I have lived in Masterton. Many of us like the more padded bench seats instead of the hard wooden chairs so please please give them a refurbish. The backs are fine and look to have been upgraded at sometime. I am hoping somtime soon to see a nice change.

A.As Miter 10s go, this is a small store with a limited selection. But the stuff they *do* stock is superb and well priced. What I like about them most, tho', is they are staffed by friendly and helpful locals, and you have no difficulty at all finding somebody knowledgeable to assist you. So this Miter 10 is doing the Customer Service thing exactly right. They are an obvious pillar of the local business community.
C.Your indoor plant selection could be a lot better. Always very disappointing seeing people buying all these beautiful indoor plants from your stores but the Masterton store never seems to have the same selection

In general service is good. Went twice this week; 1st experience; not good- went to the help desk, 2 people there each doing their own thing. One got up and walked away while the other picked up the phone and made a call without any of them asking if they could help.
I then went to checkout where the person looked into my query.
2nd time;
Wanted to buy an irrigation system, one of the floor staff offered assistance and was fantastic. Will remember him fondly, I was so thankful.
BUT its the two people at the help desk that I remember when experiencing frustration - wont go there again.

B.One of my fav stores because it's very well set up for access for wheelchairs. So many shops are not. If they had more sales & better prices it would be perfect, but shoplifters have put our prices up as they stupidly steal off a company with the thought they are covered by insurance - it just makes the insurance premiums go up which has to come back on the consumer (*US*, - for you dumb thieves). Still, I love Mitre10 - the staff are all happy and friendly bunch is half the shopping battle!
T.I hate this place food in cafe is too good inches on my hips, staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of gear in main store . Just a magnet to open the wallet.
L.Excellent garden section, very good selection of annuals and perennials, good variety of pots, they carry alot of other items as well. The staff are very helpful in all departments, can not do enough to help. The parking has plenty of room it's great.
The cafe, well that is excellent is the word l would use, you have to go there just to have lunch.
The store carries every single thing you could possibly want so go and have a look it is a lovely MITRE 10 MEGA MASTERTON.

A.Ups and downs at this place. Great to have such a selection of goods in Masterton. Would suggest staff take a more neutral and professional approach to customers with whom they are not friends. Not everyone shares the same sense of humour. Most staff are great though.

Mitre 10 Masterton stores most of what I need.
Prices are ok. Some are way over priced but on a whole they do stock the basics for my reno job that sometimes can be cheaper than the competitors. Other times, I have the option of going elsewhere when all else fails.
The store itself is clean and well laid out. Staff are friendly and helpful and seem to know what's on the shelves. I have had a few occasions where no one was around to ask questions which was a bit of a pain , but it's really not a bad little store to get what you need conveniently.

M.We were having morning tea at Mitre 10 Mega this morning in Masterton when one of our group collapsed. The cafe staff we're absolutely wonderful getting the StJohn's lady and calling an ambulance. They couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We have highest praise for them. We were a bit shaken and they even offered us a cup of coffee on the house.
