Great store. Love venturing in. Small issue some of your stock near counters had lost signage. Missed sales opportunity. Still love this store. Staff are great when they're not swigging water bottles. It was hot so fully understand.

Went all the way to Bunnings because of the shocking service from Mitre10 timber section (and this refers to the timber section out the back only. The rest of Mitre10 is great). The service at Bunnings was top notch and friendly and helpful. Thank you Bunnings.

Traffic in the area has been catastrophic for the past 5 years, with no sign of the partial road works ever ending. The store has a big carpark which can be very full on weekends. Prices are noticeably higher than Rotorua Bunnings. The Tauranga Tax 🤷‍♂️ Staff are polite and helpful. Range of stock is hard to match.

Need staff who know a bit of product knowledge and stop saying "not my department" or they see you coming and dive down an aisle never to reappear - but then its Bunnings so you know what you get before you go in. This store is obvisously not the one on TV adverts where the tradie gets in & out in 10 minutes and is srved with a smile.

Bunnings is by far the best stock hardware store their staff are a lot more helpful than mega and they stock more stuff. There staff are very knowledgeable about the products also where I don’t find that at the competition. Looking forward to the one opening closer to home next year

I always use this store. My biggest complaint would be that when you need help it's always such a mission trying to find someone from the store to help. They're never around when you need them. On a plus though is the fact that they generally have everything you need when it comes to DIY.

I enjoy shopping at Bunnings . They have a little cafe with reasonable prices and that's a bonus as well as toilets which are nice and clean ,so there is no desperate hurry and one can wander around looking at a vast range of products , competitively priced , to find what suits your needs . However , it would be nice if more seating was provided at various spots as it is a big place and can be a bit tiring if you are an older person and/or have disabilities , and even if you don't, just to sit for a minute to get your breath back. They used to have a bench seat outside the entrance by the drink fountain , but it seems to have disappeared.

Today I want to thank john at bunnings paint section..i had been everywher trying to find shellac in a 1ltr quantity..I cld only find 250ml and a very expensive way to buy it..resene paints only have the flakes an but lacked knowledge on ths product..I was initially sold an incompatible product to mix wth wth flakes but john stepped up an made good on the other sales persons mistake an refunded me an sold me an alternative item which gave me awesum results...thanks heaps john

BUNNINGS were amazing with it all. ,"Special orders" were on time and exactly what we wanted. We were there so often we became on first names with all the staff. Even my coffee was well known. Took me to them, then proceeded to demonstrate how good the LED bulb was, and how it wouldn't break. Then happily answered questions from my partner. Spent a considerable amount of time trying to find a item and after being directed to various isles by staff - eventually told it was not in stock. Rather frustrating after a bit of a journey to get there. In the end bought it on line cheaper (including delivery) from a competitor.

Hands down the number one hardware store in the Bay Of Plenty. Excellent prices and the large range of products that you would expect. Has a large selection of trade goods also such as timber and concrete etc which is easy and convenient when you need something quickly to finish a job. The staff are always helpful and often times you will be approached by a staff member to check that you don't need help which is excellent. Parking here is plentiful as well as being greeted by the snag stall on a Saturday morning, hugely disappointed however that the onions now have to be put on the bottom of the snag instead of the top ;) but overall I would definitely recommend this store.

My favorite store due to affordability. But so poor service. We constantly exchange or return items as they are always faulty. Last time changed outdoor table, then came home and opened package, There was a paint can for touches and it was empty! Somebody used it before us and put it back to package. Then we selected posts for fence of certain size, boy confirmed sizing and quantity, but somehow they messed up and delivered short posts and we had to bring them back ourself, because magically they put short posts in the bill too, which I didn't check while relying on staff. What to expect from Bunnings: Price wise they can't be beaten, that's a good thing, stirring the competition up. But.. Every time I want to buy a tool or some timber it's always sold oud. The stock they keep is just too small. Also I find the store messy and dirty. Mitre10 definitely is better stocked, tidier and with better informed staff. I advise everybody to check the Item they want to buy and if it's exactly the same go for the 15% discount of the lowest price at Mitre. ;)

Bunnings is great most of the time but watch out for these rugs as they are half the quality of the display rugs. They wouldn’t let me buy the display version either. Run your fingers trough and feel the difference. The thread count and softness is half of what the display rug shows.

Bunnings is the PaknSav of the hardware stores. They have a great range, especially of the cheapest stuff. Like all things, you get what you pay for, so if you want a bit more use out of it, spend a couple dollars more and get the better one. They have a good range of tools, gardenware, building supplies, plumbing electrical etc. There are plants and landscape supplies too.

The store has a spacious organised layout and generally there is staff nearby to help locate items and give advice if needed. Always a park even on busy times and on the weekend there is a sausage sizzle operating at the main entrance. Also a cafe in the building by the large garden area. I have had to return a tool in warrenty which gave trouble and it was replaced no problem.

This Buntings needs a full time traffic person on duty. Entry and exit onto Airport drive is chaotic. Parking close to the entrance has cars backed up on the road. People do not understand the one way system. Bigger and clearer signage needed. 4 stars because inside is well organized and staff are very helpful and friendly. Fix your parking problems please.

After a terrible experience at a certain local 'orange shed' I was totally unprepared for the level of service and expertise from the Kitchen Designer at Bunnings Mt. Maunganui. My Partner and I were very quickly impressed by his customer focus and, with the benefit of his knowledge and Bunnings' range we were able to walk away with a kitchen which meets all our needs (and more importantly budget) while not sacrificing on design and function. A shame that it seems this department is left to fend for themselves with the absence of any flooring or plumbing assistance as we were continuously harassed and interrupted by customers seeking help there! I truly did not expect to get the designer experience from a flat pack retailer but is seems that this Man breaks the Mould!

Con's: In peek hours the parking spacings with cars can get a bit narrow. also it would be great if there was a pedestrian crossing out the front as im not sure how the elderly would get accross if all the disabled parks were taken.

A big box hardware store that has the DIY as well as the professional tradesmen selection of hardware, supplies and tools. The special order desk is excellent. They have great events for the kids on a regular basis. Make sure you book early for their Christmas Santa Workshop for kids; it is very a lot of fun. I like going to Bunnings with the family and you will too.

My Maunganui more helpful that Hamiton when I was after Hume wardrobe doors 610x 35 . I was told that the Mt didn't have any and Hamilton as well as the other store in Hamilton. I ask if I could order them and was told that I could but they had no idea when they would arrive .I live matamata so when I got home I rang the Mt Maunganui store and was told that they had 4 610x 35 doors in stock .I did want 6 but 4 will get me through .My question is why was I told that the Mt didn't have any when they did .After ringing the Mt I drove to Tauranga to pick them up
