Very helpful staff on the phone when I ordered the ride on, and follow up when it arrived. And the boys were very helpful and friendly in the trade load up area. But lady was little bit surly in the special orders area when I picked it up. Fast delivery right on Christmas.

Took my 6 year to toilet and found urine all over the floor which he dropped his shorts in before I noticed. Ergh! Stopped for a coffee and lady at coffee shop was very helpful and gave my other child a drink of water. Looked for wire cutters and other staff member was helpful finding them. I don't normally shop there but they had what I wanted at the best price. I have found it difficult to get help when needed and when you do find someone they don't have much knowledge about the item so they go to get someone who can which could take another 5 or 10 minutes and then find that when you ask a few questions it's clear that they also not that familiar with the item or product so you are left feeling none the wiser. So because of that I very seldom shop there

We go to Bunnings often. It is the closest large hardware store to Richmond. There is plenty of car parking space. The store is laid out well. Staff are friendly. They exchange goods if you find you've bought the wrong product. They seem a bit cheaper than their main competitors, MEGA MITRE 10. I'd recommend them.

I tend to go here for the cheapest price in some products and plants. Most of the time feel like a criminal, as dockets get checked and bags. I understand that sometimes this needs to happen... but in know I won't steal. And it's never a nice feeling. So sometimes if I know I am going to get asked... I hand over my docket or ask if they wish to check my bag before they ask. Most are friendly staff and products are good. But prefer to shop at Mitre 10, as I don't get that feeling criminal feeling!!

My husband and I went to Bunnings as we were looking at buying multiple items for a bathroom renovation. No staff members were around but a supplier gave us excellent service which was not part of his role. When we went to find someone to assist us with the sale there were no staff members again and one guy waiting there had been waiting 20 mins and it took a 3rd call over the PA to get some staff. Sadly..the poor girl wasn't trained for the area and the staff member who was, was covering a sick staff member in the coffee shop and then was going on his own break. Angela was an excellent communicator and helper.. she calmly took us under her wing and took us through the order process (cause another staff member was sick). I can't say how happy we were with Angela's service...other than to say it was exceptional...friendly and professional. Please Bunnings management...please please please know that while we are all looking for a great priced item..it should never be at the cost of under staffed and over worked staff. No staff complained about the situation..but it was extremely obvious. You need to lift your game as managers.. because it is YOU and the company itself that look bad, NOT the staff on the floor who are all working so hard to help people. You don't want to lose great staff by not appreciating them.

I received great service from Anna at the customer support desk but she was so busy that she can't take her lunch break. Why do Bunnings always treat their staff so poorly? I have just looked up Bunnings for their phone Number and decided to read the reviews! After reading the most recent one that was very negative I wish to write about my experiences at this store. There is always someone available to lug my fire pellets out to my car and place them in the boot (willingly). The Greeter at the door tells me what aisle I need to go to when I tell her what I'm after. The men out the back have been happy to cut wood to the size I require when I'm attempting a project. The Ladies Nights they hold are fantastic and very informative and fun. Garden advice has been great too. All in all I have had fantastic service.... even down to offering to source a special type of vacuum cleaner I was after for my fireplace. I think they are great.... every bit as good as anywhere else. Perhaps it just pays to ask if you are unsure.

Was a bit disappointed. After ringing and being told a product was available in store I drove 3.5hrs only to be told(when I eventually got some reluctant assistance) the product was not available. The only one left was the display unit. Which they were not immediately willing to sell to me , untill I explained I'd just travelled on a staff members word. . 12hundred dollars and all they could manage was a fifty dollar discount and then only because i complained and asked for one.. The only good thing really is that the guy who stuffed up in the first place admitted his mistake...

Lovely coffee and friendly staff. Lots of room and specials outside so you can clearly see the pricing. I got compost paid for them st the till and collected them on the way out. Saved slot of lifting. Kitchen fits out looked good and lots of tap wear. Solar light packs were cheapest I had seen. Parking is good mid week and get a trolly at entrance. Exit on motorway south and entrance from north . Also can come through Richmond or Stoke.

We love coming here for little bits and pieces we need for our house and garden. The cafe is also great and the kids love the free fluffy. While dad looks at tools the kids can spend some time doing arts and crafts at kids DIY on the weekend which is great!

OK, I'm a girl who loves hardware. More than makeup and shoes. Bunnings is my other home. Well-chosen, well-trained staff. Can't fault the prices considering their quality isn't bottom-drawer. Bored? Bunnings. Woodworker? Tool geek? Stop there first. Lacking inspiration? It's busting with ideas. Lacking skills? It has teaching sessions. Frazzled? Stick the kids in the play area and watch from the cafe. Even your friendly dog can go (on a lead) and carry your new tools. The only problem is they won't let me set up a bed and move in.

I have bought many things from time to time from Bunnings, some of it being in the Ryobi battery tool products. The reason for this quick email is because I have now gone through 2 half inch drive impact guns under warranty and although I use it a lot I do look after it, each has had a different fault, upon return the staff replace the product without any hassle at all. I visited this place today, and man it looks the same as Auckland Bunnings. I feel like all the Bunnings are the same looking and same layout. It wasn’t too hard to find the tools we needed because it was the same. Sadly, I didn’t bug anything inside the story because we really didn’t need it and we could have bought it in Auckland. It was my first time in Nelson Bunnings. The guy that was standing outside kindly said ‘Have a good day’, which made my family and my day. Thank you for being kind Bunnings warehouse Nelson. My favorite part of the week is when I get to spend 5 hours on Sunday or Saturday afternoon shopping at bunnings. My working week drags on as I battle to force time faster so to not bare with the dreadfulness of work, a struggle indeed. But I am truly blessed to have the weekend off to enjoy shopping at bunnings and visiting my favorite place to be. I don't usually purchase anything but still instantly get lost wandering around the alluring aisles as you accidentally stumble across items unseen, and begin to debate their usefulness and potential for future projects. Window shopping at its finest. This one time I bought an item in the cleaning department, I then managed to convert it to both a garden sprayer and a shampoo holder. Occasionally I will discover miscellaneous goods that one would never new existed, this in itself is a true wonder as it creates a feeling of amazement as you are shown the technological advancement that the human race has progressed in terms of DIY hardware. The enjoyment of the Saturday DIY is also amazing as it gets me involved to actually want to create things, last time we learned how to use a hammer and a screwdriver on some nails/screws and, under my wife's request, I had my face painted with my daughter. Every few weeks they'll have a free bbq where anyone is welcome to a beautifully cooked gourmet sausage, juicy meat patty and tender bacon and eggs. All for free, a feed for the entire family. I even grab a few platefuls extra in my plastic bag for the parents dinner for a few nights! There are even more community events that they hold, from DIY tips including gardening to my personal favorite the bouncy castle - which is a lot of fun. All in all a wonderful shopping experience for countless hours of pure entertainment.
