We purchased an outdoor set online from another region. The entire purchase, order and pickup was smooth and very proactive communication from Carly, Tessa & Jason. After unpacking at home there was a cushion missing. Another phone call and Dan had a solution, and within 4 days a replacement arrived by courier. The outdoor team provided the best customer service we have experienced. Well deserved 5 star review.

Ordered timber and shed couple weeks ago for a delivery both today. Only the timber arrived of order. Shed missed off ordered. Had to pick it up our self's 4 pieces of timber were bowed ? bent. Also ordered 25mm timber they sent one 20mm. Storeman not checking quality of goods or order sheet properly the trade manager helped us out in the end . Bit of bad experience but help full manager / worker thanks for your help

10/10 for service!! I was on a job site today, client was away, as I was locking one of the outside doors, the alloy handle broke off…I checked the handle and found it to be Lockwood, so the trail led me to Mitre10 Mega Nelson. I was directed to the right aisle and met a chap from trade, Lester, anyway he didn’t send me away empty handed…although the product was not available in store, Lester called a commercial client - Clear View, explained the situation, I arrived at Clear View, was treated so well, with the product ordered, even with the right colour!! I should be able to reinstall in a few weeks!! I just want to honour, Lester and Mitre10 Mega Nelson for their commitment to not just customer service, BUT customer satisfaction! Good old fashioned service in a world that is far from it!! So good

Pretty large stock on all tradie needs, I've always found what I'm looking for. The staff here know their fields very well and where to find things if you don't. Bit more expensive than competitors but the quality equipment is key to success plus it feels good to spend money in the country for the country.

Great place to go to get hardware, great staff, even over the phone requests for things usually get a great result. BUT if you want to search for products, just go to the store. Stay away from the website, it's not intuitive or accurate. For example, searching for boards or planks in 'timber' will include plastic objects like buckets. Or vinyl floor covering.

Nice staff! Huge collection of tools and fun stuff you could add around your home-- even unnecessarily. However the tool department only has 2 people working- and they can be busy for a long time. Making it a very long process if your needing information or wanting to buy something.

We love MEGA store. Bunnings is overall a bit cheaper, but MEGA has everything and a wider range of choices, so we prefer to shop there. The staff are helpful and easy to spot in their orange and black T-shirts. A few times I've arrived back home with a product only to find it wasn't the right size. MEGA are always obliging to exchange the goods. We've shopped there for many years and will continue to do so.

Our local Nelson store is brilliant! The range of goods on offer is endless, but most impressive is the staff. Always polite and with excellent training and product knowledge. It's why we keep coming back .... as opposed to going elsewhere?!?

Nice big Mitre10 store. Well laid out and nice and tidy. Staff are quite helpful. Had exactly what we wanted. Good that there's some camping and outdoor gear available here now as that saved another stop elsewhere. Cafe was good too. Just stopped for a quick coffee while grabbing the bits and pieces needed. Practically not wait for coffee or at the checkout. Very handy.

Really huge store with a really really big range of stuff inside they have everything to fill your garden, do kitchen or bathroom upgrades, paint your house or do a house extension. The staff are always ready to help you and there are some really knowledgeable people who work there. Over all a great place!

Who would have thought you could expect such fantastic service from a Mitre10. Its hardly 'boutique' and yet you are treated like you are the most important customer they have. Mitre Mega has a huge range of good quality products. There are knowledgeable staff if you need advice. We bought plants there on our latest visit and they look very healthy. They even have a mobility scooter for people who need to use one.
