We had coffee at the cafe here and were really happy with the food. However we were extremely concerned about the lack of distancing between customers. The staff member agreed with me but did nothing to rectify the problem so I had to remind the customer and the staff member behind me to move back. Perhaps staff could work harder on protecting the safety of their customers.

Just purchased an expensive lawnmower that does everything I always mumble about when mowing. Like who designs these things. I have a bad back and could not resist mowing the undulating 600 m sq side lawn. It was awesome such a difference! Ease of use and mows right to the edge. it's a great lawnmower and it makes the biggest difference moving up a couple of notches. Good buy at Mitre Ten MEGA

Love this Mitre 10 Mega. A large range of everything from plumbing, lighting, paints and painting supplies, landscaping, power tools and heaps more. The staff there are very friendly and usually know what they are talking about, so the advice they give is relevant. And if they aren't sure, they are more than happy to not only point you in the right direction, but introduce you to the person and let them know the basics of what you are looking forward to (saves having to repeat yourself too much). Recommended for anyone wanting to DIY, beautify, or even major projects

I like Mitre 10 for shopping but I was the only person wearing a mask and was stared at as if I had horns on my head! Social distancing was difficult to achieve but mostly people stood on the markings on the floor. There's always someone who forgets of course, but all the other things like the covid tracker QR is up and plenty of hand sanitizer.

Well, yeah. All I wanted was some plywood. What I wanted was one piece of ply, cut into three equal parts, which should have been a quick job. Nope. I patiently waited 20 minutes while two of the guys finished serving their customers, then watched in disgust as they both went and served other people who had come in AFTER me. The difference between me and the other customers? They were men, who had driven their expensive, shiny 4wd vehicles into the trade area, including one that completely blocked the thoroughfare rather than drive forward another 20 meters to a park. I waited another 10 minutes (and watched said employees serve other people again) before finally asking another(third) one to assist me, waiting a further 10 minutes before he was free. To his credit, he was friendly, helpful, completed my request quickly, and offered to carry the ply out to my car. It's just a shame that a 5 minute job took almost 45 minutes.

This is a very regular destination for me most weekends due to doing renovations. Huge selection. The paint team are a huge help and very knowledgeable, thank you. I spend a lot of time in the timber yard (which is under cover and you can drive into... Also huge) and if I need a piece of timber cut to size or put through the thicknesser they are happy to help out. Very rare that I don't find what I am after. Attached Columbus Cafe is a life saver especially if I have to return 3x in a day because I keep forgetting stuff for finishing a project on the house. Life saver... Coffee always makes it better, or at least less frustrating.
