Staff are consistently helpful and knowledgeable. I think this may have much to do with having older staff - they have the experience to give good advice. Combine this with their amazing customer services, you'll just keep going back. The Timaru branch is awesome too.

As you would expect a wide range of products to choose from. Cheaper brands and top quality brands...Good helpful staff.but for some reason all the cheaper items were out of stock on this day I was here. ... So definitely check stock online.

This place is my new favorite store to shop! The staff have all gone above and beyond and are very helpful everytime in all departments. I love the layout especially the gardening section. It feels like a tropical jungle when I walk through the doors. Selection of products across all departments is excellent and always seem to come out of there with more than what was on the list! 😉

Absolutely brilliant service The item I purchased seemed dearer at checkout I queried this and the assistant was polite and promptly whent to the aisle where this product was located and retrieved the display ticket and explained this was an old ticket and the sale had finished I said I was happy to pay the normal price as mistakes happen The assistant said no they would honor the ticket price and got a senior staff member to complete the sale with no hassle at all. Very much appreciated

It's okay for this small town. Only negative for me was on two separate occasions I went for something specific that I saw on their website which this branch didn't have stock of. The staff are very friendly and always willing to order the goods from the Timaru branch. The coffee shop has some of the best hamburgers and coffees.

Very quick service, had a issue paying with a account, found the issue wasn't made to feel stupid. Size is way to small, as is the car park. Staff apologised as there were not many options in stock for what i was looking for (covid 19) but it wasn't a issue.

Now in their MEGA store as of early August 2020. It has most of the main Mitre 10 MEGA product range. But when you really look it's just the same brands and selection as before spread thinly across more shelves. This and the layout makes it a bit hit and miss for finding stuff at all, or even finding anything quickly. Staff are helpful and friendly. Has a Columbus Coffee outlet at the north end of the place - accessible once inside (over near garden centre). All up I've been to many better Mitre 10 Mega stores than this. But "any port in a storm" [is better than none] as they say. So it'll do. For now.
