Went in for a car battery. Found it difficult to find as they were on a bottom shelf down a mini half Isle / island setup. Was fine other than that enjoyed the time looking around drooling over the high end power tools. Staff very very friendly and helpful as usual.

Great day in the big shop.. I am very happy with the way they Had a good and safe toilet. Clean as well.. Is well worth having a great look You are likely to buy something for To use with this. Or that..

Good store in a good location. Lots of parking but the entrance from Tremaine Ave can be a bit dangerous at times as it is a busy road with multiple lanes. Usually they have stocked this particular store well. Have shopped here a lot and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. It is pretty easy to navigate the store.

Visit here often with my husband......his fave shop. Luckily there is plenty for females to enjoy too. Great bathroom & kitchen displays for DIY inspiration! Staff always helpful & professional.

Was good being able to have the wheelchair this time to get around store so much easier. The last time I was there was a nightmare as there was no wheelchair as had disappeared. So was so grateful when I was there this time they'd been able to replace it.

You know we love bunnings, it has everything. It keeps grown up men occupied for hours. And back when my kids were babies and toddlers, I used to bring them here just to loom at everything, calm them when they couldn't sleep, and show them the things that daddy is into. 100% will always love bunnings warehouse, and have always had great service from the Palmy store.

Most aisles were cluttered with stuff and it was a bit hard to maneuver the oversized trolley down some aisles with other shoppers as well, no one asked if I was looking for something in particular like other stores, but I did go online to check what aisle the item was in while I was in store.

Well laid out store, friendly and knowledgeable staff members, everything we wanted was in stock, public toilets easy to find and are adequately clean

The only Bunnings in the town. Big store, staff everywhere ready to help. Self service available. Located next to Gull. Overall a nice Bunnings store. However located a bit far from the city centre.

I attended the one at Palmerston North today at 11:10am. Most of staff are friendly, and are doing their job. I noticed one young girl at the checkout today clearly very unhappy about her work, as she just stood there at the checkout kept her head down, customers all went to the checkout girl next to her, as she pretended she was not there. I was waiting in the queue next to her and asked her " are u available", received no answer and no eye contact either. I then told the customer (mum with 3 children) waiting behind me, "she is actually available", so the mum went to her checkout, and she looked very unhappy. If u are not happy being here and serve your customers, find another job, simple as that.

It is a good place to buying what you need. There are staff moving in the store for support and they're friendly. I really enjoyed the shopping 😁 in the store.

Great helpful staff. Was really nice Santa and his elf were going around give children presents. My boy loved it. Great score at getting some plants on clearance as well.

Some of the staff are really rude and racist. Had a terrible experience when we went with our kids and one staff member told us to f$$$ off. We were shocked. The senior staff were polite to intervene and told us that they will handle it promptly. We chose not to create a scene. Hopefully a one off case of rude staff. Still three stars for the other helpful staff members.

I buy concrete there all the time. Best concrete in nz can use for what ever you want great for getting all your needs and the sausages outside were good.

Huge store for Palmy with plenty of variety. Really good range of smart home products on display as well which I wasn’t expecting ✅

My helpful partner went to Bunnings to pick me up a new nut. She had the stick that the nut needed to fit into but other then that had very little idea which nut was the right nut. Very helpful floor staff found the right nut for her, then very very nice cashier paid the ten cent cost with a ten cent coin she found. My partner was very pleased and I liked my new nut. I highly rate this store( from more good experiences then just this one)

Love bunnings shop but this Xmas are so disappointed with your Xmas lights I would have bought 12 sets of net lights and already have five sets that arnt working that's a lot and it soon adds up will still shop there as I love the shop but really annoyed thanks

Visited while I was in Palmy last and have to say the male customers and staff were way hotter than the ones back at home. **update: was so disappointed in the quality of eye candy at my local Bunnings I moved round the corner from this one 👌🏽 Great place to spend a Friday night.

A great shop with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of great stuff with everything you could ever possibly need from a hardware shop and then more. A cafe and playground next to the garden centre provides a welcome break from wandering through the isles. The playground is suited for older children as most of it requires climbing.

Top notch place to buy anything for diy or gardening, they have great prices and a great selection of plants that changes regularly. Big bonus it being open till 9 these days too. Cafe is quite yuck will be steering clear from there.

Bunnings the best for prices. I didn't get asked if I wanted any help, I find this sadly lacking at times. I ordered some tiles gave the young attendant my name and address She put my information in her pocket and forgot about it. I rang about it 3 weeks later and they had no record of my order!. Finally got satisfaction from another staff member and got my tiles.

Great hardware store, have built my deck using materials from here, got a bargain price on decking nails, staff were friendly and informative, would go back again as they match prices, and would order in products that the store did not stock.

Burnings is always great, everythings cheap, huge range of products, staff are helpful but not pushy and don't follow you round like you're going to steal something

The service here us either great or poor. The front line staff are great but if you need to place an order or enquiry expect to wait weeks for a callback. Also a very frustrating place if you want a repeat purchase. It most likely will no longer be available. I frequently find that there is insufficient stock on hand to meet my needs.

Expansive, clean fully stocked and great customer service. New female, staff member , 2 days in was extremely efficient, helpful and honest. Used her initiative to find the product I was looking for and even went as far as seeking assistance from other experienced workers than guided us to the proper aisle. Newbie congratulations, excellent customer service. Another male staff member assisted in showing us and sharing information about secateurs, loopers made for me with the hacker style ... suggested another method in how to better use and upselling the DIY classes to assist in how to maintain said products. Friendly, knowledgeable and well informed staff . Thanks will be bac ....

Excellent service. Almost everything for my outdoor needs under one roof I can always find someone when i need advice or a product, who will stop what they are doing to assist me. Also nearly all of the customers seem relaxed and friendly, not rushed and stressed as in other similar stores, maybe having all the aisles clearly marked helps too but i have met some lovely people at Bunnings. An awesome place to shop.

Have always enjoyed shopping for DIY kit here. The advice from the staff is always top notch and will more often than not go out of their way to help you with your purchase - and recommend what you need. Prefer them to the other mob in Orange/Black any day.

Some staffs needs more training. I want a double pack 18v battery($103), single pack($99). I asked tools department staff,the answer is limit stock for "promotion items" and can't order anymore. But the customer service desk staff find it in system but not on shelf. I go back to tool department and was told "if you can find it on shelf, If you can't find it,it's out of stock." A staff call me they found one after 1 hour. I spent a whole morning then i got what i need finally.

Palmerston North Bunnings is a great place to shop with a huge array of products for everyone. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The coffee from the instore cafe is excellent and served with a smile. Excellent parking and easy access makes this store a regular stop for us whenever we are in town.

No deceit and was asking me questions as to find the right tools and also providing me with information regarding Bunnings warranties on each brand. Everyone in store was happy and helpful today. A big thanks to Russell at palmy Bunnings! He is the most helpful, considerate, kind, thoughtful worker I have ever experienced. Russell had arranged for my daughters birthday present to be arranged via click n collect, due to Melbourne lockdown I couldn't send her a gift to NZ as the stores were closed here. I paid over the phone from Aus and my daughter spoke to Russell too as the item was not available, for a similar item at the same price to be picked up. Also, I was lucky enough to speak to Russell yesterday at closing time to arrange a voucher for her, he said he would personally arrange for that to be ready for today. Excellent customer service , would highly recommend Bunnings palmy.

Alot of staff to help where things are. However limited in DIY help. Trade area is not as helpful aswell, need some training. Lots of selection of products and plenty of deals available. Take your phone so you can compare pricing.

My favourite store, So very helpful & friendly & always someone asking if they can help, it might be 6 different people, but that's wonderful. And one day there was a young lady on check out with makeup on, it was so nice to see. Love this store.

All ok,stocks reasonable considering covid

I always love my trips to Bunnings and seldom do I not find what i need. The particular bloke today was very helpful in the isle with wardrobe and cupboards in it, young Maori bloke that, regrettably, i never asked his name. The only reason i say young and Maori is there isn't many of them so hopefully he knows who I'm talking about and I'd like to thank him. Thank you for your help and the manners that you showed to everyone who went down that isle.

Luke is one great staff member, I've been served by him since the days he worked at the Naenae Store, I still see him with the same enthusiasm and spirits.

Good service and enjoy shopping there. Products are good and they have their own brands that are cheaper than names brands. Seems to be cheaper, for the things I want, than Mitre 10. Always had friendly service as well.

Nice place, great range. 99/100 times it's been perfect apart from one time an older lady made it more difficult than it needed to be when getting warranty on a product. Think she just put it in the "too hard bin". I ended up getting full replacement by the rep on my line trimmer.

Wonderfully handy staff ready and willing to assist. When a purchase over the price of $50 is made perhaps a free bag could be given, especially if multiple items purchased. Just a thought.

This was our first visit to this store, huge shop, good range, great pricing. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the young server didn't really acknowledge us when we purchased our items.

My dad was the guy I went to for anything I needed help with, advice, maintenance, repairs, etc... Since he died almost 2 years ago the staff at Bunnings have helped me learn so much by teaching me the things my father did for me, enabling me to be self sufficient, broadening my general knowledge and know how making me a better, smarter, handyman. I love Bunnings xox

Easy to find products plenty of staff to help if you need it. Lots of parking space. Average prices good family store. Don't know if theirs toilets ect their. Shame no cafe as we spent long time in their.

The shop is adequate. Since the upgrade to the new cafe area though the food and coffee have been pretty average. Even the cafe service could be better - no offer to warm up my muffin and had to ask if butter was available. At least the fluffys are free and have lots of froth. I'll keep coming as the kids are entertained at the playground but wouldn't come for the cafe experience.

Staff friendly, seems well stocked.not always easy to get through aisles due to big crates of stock being unloaded. Only really difficult issue for me is it's hard to find any staff when I have a query. There seem to be less people available to serve customers.

Great sized car park, loan trailers, helpful staff in the trade department. Usually the best priced hardware and tools in town. Aisles are well signposted and clearly laid out. Sometimes there aren’t any staff on checkout but there is always someone available to check your shopping bag or vehicle. Perhaps a review of this policy is in order.

I had ordered a ladder which had been sourced from Wellington for me. On collection it was found to be faulty- so the Manager explained why it couldn't be sold to me. I was offerred vouchers due to cost of drive from Masterton to collect it and time and planning to use it over Easter. Then I was offered another ladder at half price instead of vouchers- great service. So I went home with a great ladder and Bunnings made a very happy Customer. Well done Team.

This is the best bunnings has everything you need amazing range of different flowers and plants my go to for DIY aswell if needing paint or brushes etc always straight here.

We purchased a glass top outdoor table in august this year from palmerston north bunnings however the glass exploded spontaneously about 2 weeks ago, a major product failure and quite shocking. After some back and forth with a staff member we decided to upgrade as a swap to a non-glass outdoor table except this had to be couriered from hastings to palmerston north bunnings, then forwarded onto us in carterton. After being told it would be arriving early this week (had arrived at theirs last Friday), there was no sign of it by the following wednesday so we rang them, but no one had actioned it so it was still sitting there. In the end a great staff member called Kathy sorted it all out and a staff member called Bede delivered it to our doorstep on the same day - after some patchy earlier communication it was good to have solid, timely assistance in the end, from Bunnings just in time for family arriving pre-christmas.

Staff can tell you where items are, but lacked of knowledge about specific products.

I read the sign wrong. I thought it was BUNNY's Warehouse. I went looking for some rabbit stew. Still though they sold other cool things like set squares and charcoal.

Very busy today, seems weekends have been since covid19 level 2. People been waiting to get stuff down around home and this shows by the number of customers flooding into store.

Happy this visit because they still had kindling, mitre 10 was sold out , but Bunnings is usually my first go to because it's closer to my end of town.

Just the best in Palmy, recently decided to shop here as thwir competitors did not want to do a price beat, wint look back, worth driving the extra kms to support them.

You need to sort out your queues at the pay points over covid alert level 2. Unfair that some people jump the queue and nobody seems to care.

Isles are to narrow and it's hard to find anything but the are friendly and helpful

This place has a big range but when it comes to the plant area it is pathetic, I have been in there about 5 times over the last few months and every time there are little vegetable plants and no watermelon or rockmelon plants which I have been looking for a long time!
