Very greatly appreciated, having the customer wheelchair available. So much easier getting around the big warehouse store, when you don't have the energy to get to where you want to when is in back corner. So very pleased for this service. As well as the wonderful staff who are very helpful, being able to take me to my car then take the chair back inside. So much easier when you have a lot of items to get out to car.

Purchased outdoor furniture of good quality, better than the stuff Briscoes sell so well worth a look. The customer service was also good with the staff willing to assist and knowledgeable.

I found the bathroom staff really helpful. I'm not a fan of the cheaper basins and vanities Mitre 10 carry, but among the not-so-good stuff are decent items worth buying. My worst purchase was a Classique oven that lasted 5 yrs. Do your homework before buying from Mitre 10.

The best thing about shopping here is the airpoints you earn. Their garden centres are always fully stocked and Annie and the team is always there to greet you with a friendly smile and hi. Their prices are a lot higher than other places so do shop around and make use of apps like The Warehouse barcode scanner to check their prices on items like lawn seeds. If cheaper elsewhere they have to beat it by 15%!

Loved the Columbus cafe in-store which looks out on the garden area. The food is lovely with choices for people with allergies and sensitivities. Coffee and tea great. Service great. Store is good to wander around and look at the plants.

Great service for the most part. Some of the labeling of their tool space could be clearer. There are a few young staffers who don't have the knowledge and experience that the older guys which does prove challenging at times. But other than that, definitely get great service from these guys every time.

This branch of mitre 10 has the best plants always healthy, and lots to choose from.

As of writing this recommendation for MITRE 10 Mega Palmerston North, it's my Birthday tomorrow (New Years Eve 2020) I had decided a couple of days ago that I wanted to buy a Cordless Drill and Car polishing attachments for myself as my Birthday Present to myself. I don't currently own a drill so I felt the combination would serve a dual purpose. I had been really busy all day and I thought I would pop into Palmerston North MITRE 10 Mega before heading out to "that" store to buy my $29.00 XU1 18V Li-Ion Cordless Hammer Drill. Like you, I just needed that point base reality comparison check. When I walked into MITRE 10 Mega Palmerston North, the first thing I noticed, was that it was busy. Even at 6:00pm the evening before New Years Eve. Well sign posted, I just needed to look up to find my way to the Power Tool area. I was looking through Cordless Drills for no more than 3 minutes when a young man passed by me and greeted me cheerfully. I asked him if he was busy as I needed some help. He was immediately present. As I was telling him that I was looking for a cordless drill for polishing my car and for the odd drilling job, I could see that he was listening intently. He was focused. He was interested in helping. I decided to stay with him a bit longer. "Matthews" level of product knowledge and attention to my requirement's did impress me. He was able to recommend based on my requirements, he was able to endorse the Stanley V20 Cordless Drill using "Primary Endorsement". (Meaning he had chosen this drill to purchase personally) This was evident as his product knowledge was absolutely on the nail on multiple points. I was going somewhere else before visiting Mitre10 Mega Palmerston North. I was on my way to buy a $29.00 Cordless Drill, Yet I invested $139.00 with polishing buffs from brand Job Mate included. I love this shop especially the garden section complete with Columbus Cafe which does a wonderful menu. Friendly staff who happily give advice and ask questions to help find the best product rather than just grabbing the first product off the shelf. They will happily help get heavy items to your car which is helpful when I have my preschoolers with me. Lots of staff on hand in all sections so you never have to go far to find someone. A covered playground in the garden section and tiny, orange trolleys make it fun for kids to go also.

I went into the store to purchase a spray can of silicone for a friend of mine. I rang up before I got there, to find out which aisle the product was in. And then looked for it on the shelf. CRC 808 Silicone Spray. Then I went to the checkout and paid for it, then left the store.

The location of Stewart's Mitre 10 is a huge asset. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they stock most things that the home renovator and the professional requires. I shop here at least once a week and enjoy the experience. Good parking unless you go at 3 PM on weekdays as Boys high parents use the park to pickup their kids from school.

Had what I wanted but directions given by staff to the locations of what I needed were very vague. Maybe it was close to knock off time?

I have been to Mitre 10 Mega Palmerston North a lot recently as I have been renovating my house. Whenever I go I always get amazing service with a smile. The staff in the departments are amazing from Polly and Lyn in the garden department through to Kerry-Anne in trade. The checkout operators are great and the young man on checkout is always making a joke to us, boxing our stuff up, telling us about promotions and generally going the extra mile for us. I would highly recommend shopping at Mitre10 Mega Palmerston North.

Pleasant staff and good selections of household items and hardware available. We find that their garden plants are of better quality than the warehouse or Bunnings. Example. We have bought an experimented vege and flowering punnets bought from the 3 outlets to see which grew and gave better results in our plastic house.I guess paying a little extra has better results. Manawatu Garbage bags are available there at a good price. A good place to shop for Persil soap powder specials. Home Garden Power Tools.. Carl is very knowledgeable and helpful there, Garden centre, most of them are great and knowledgeable. Everyone is fantastic and ready to answer your queries. Worth going there for all your home project or DIY

Believe it or not, it's an awesome family destination. My 4 year old loves the playground and I love the cafe. On the retail side, it's very tidy and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

First thing in the morning they have smiles and helpful a great place to shop.

Much better then Mitre 1, 4, 6 and 9. But no where as good as Mitre 2. Mitre 10 has nice people in it. They where Orange. But dont call them Umpa Lump's. Its frowned upon. I brought a piece of wood while i was there. My wife yelled at me cause I went for a battery. but the orange not umpa lumpas where so helpful i couldn't help it. also FYI I do think secretly they are umpa lumpas cause they also sell chocolate!! You can also get airpoints here which is good if you need to buy more air on the cheap. Also it has no windows which is weird. How do the umpa lumpas know what the weather is when they wake up!

It's a go to shop. Plants not treated well and never buy bulk bulbs they are cheap rubbish

I like this Mitre 10 MEGA for a couple of reasons- it’s well set out and pensioners like me can use your Gold Card - they’re also extremely helpful

DIY heaven, the shop is always clean and tidy with helpful staff to get me the answers for projects easily recommendable.

Another BIG miter 10. However they did replace my smoke alarms which is what I went in for. So, thumbs up to them.

Strange that even that's it's a Mitre 10 Mega, the range is quite limited. No real specials, but staff are usually helpful. Change to air points from flybuys saw me going to the competition over mitre 10.
