Did go for breakfast at the coffee shop in the building. Was really impressed on the cleanliness and neat presentation of product throughout the shop. Wish the Mitre 10i Auckland can be this nice!

My favourite shop! Magnificent ratio of staff to customers, and all are courteous and experts in their fields. Huge range of products at very good prices, and excellent service throughout. Just disappointed that they dumped Fly Buys in favour of Airpoints.

Honestly, I get terrified any time I need to make a complaint or return something. But every time there is an issue at Kapiti Mitre10 they make the process easy as with minimal drama. I returned a lawn mower today, wasn't broken, just didn't work as advertised, technically this isn't covered by their return policy but they did it anyway without any issues, I just had to clean it up. Brilliant service and team.

I'm here most weekends. Garden centre has everything I need. Adjacent cafe a bit pricey but nice food. Staff go out of their way to be helpful, it always amazes me how I can ask ANY staff member where to find ANYTHING, & they can tell me which aisle to go to. Lots of parking. Wheelchair access.

I love going to this place. BUT With the lock down.... I have to say if this is an Australian company. We are getting a raw deal. I have waited on a product for which comes from Australia... And I was told in Feb it was coming in it is Not the staff that is dragging the train. But as I was told in early April it was coming in MAY.. Well it is nearly June... And still waiting.

The slogan, "No Bull" does not do this business any credit, customers are not that gullable, in fact most prices on items are way above normal retail, and I must say I think more than twice about purchasing items, when I know they are cheaper elsewhere and the same product, I feel this store 'charges like a wounded Bull' and for some exceptional reason gets away with it, judge for yourself! Something I will say is that the store is usually well stocked, excepting covid restricting deliverance and has good variety of homemaking ability

Sue customer care champion in the Plumbing Dept deserves serious accolades. Visited store today for irrigation fittings. Salesman in the garden irrigation section were no help whatsoever bordering on disinterest. Sue on other hand went to no end of trouble. Option one didn’t work because of parts out of stock. Option “2” resolved the dilemma. Sue deserves genuine praise...... perseverance with a genuine smile. Her knowledge was impressive. Notwithstanding that it was first experience to Sue. Her Customer Care attitude rating is 100% underpinned by a very effective training programme & motivation that any employer would rate as an exemplar..Mitre 10 image & identity took a mighty lift today in my opinion. Sue is a very special person

I have to say, I love Mitre 10 Mega in Kapiti. They sell BBQ stuff and power tools! They have a playground that my 3 year old daughter always wants to play in, which eats into my powertool perving time, but you have to keep the princesses happy right?! On a serious note, there's plenty of helpful staff, a good range of stuff and good prices. My only gripe is that I have been unable to buy a 4.0 amp hour Black and Decker battery for my cordless powertools as they have not had them in stock. I ended up getting one from Mitre 10 Mega in New Plymouth. But, as I say, that's my only gripe. Keep up the great work M10 Kapiti!

It's Mitre 10 Mega, you know what you're in for. Bright, clean, well stocked store. The staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable and it's easy to find what you need. Range is a little limited in some areas though and value can be patchy. Kapiti would definitely benefit from that other (major consumer focused) hardware chain having a more serious local presence.
