D. A.Much more respectful staff than those at Bunnings. I wasn't asked to leave my bag at the front before going shopping, unlike at Bunnings. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bunnings could learn something from Mitre 10. Treat your customers like valued customers - not criminals :-)
C.What's to complain about. Not too hard to find staff to help. Best out of the two big stores for quick service. Cafe is popular. Where's my builders breakfast..? ;-)

T.Friendly staff in a lot of the different departments. Awesome that this store has the large standing saw to cut the ply and other large boards. Have been to a few other mitre 10 stores which don't have this facility so it was really handy. Nice spares and off cut bins near the back of the store that you can get very cheap or free wood from too!

A. T.The staff in this store are super helpful and genuinely friendly. They go out of their way to provide excellent well informed service. I regularly shop at other mitre 10 shops in Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch (Papanui) but none compare with the Queenstown store. Well done to the staff.

A. C.My respect for New Zealand and its people was somewhat tarnished after a recent flight with Air New Zealand, but this place has helped restore that right back! I cannot remember when was the last time I found customer service this good. A random shop assistant approached us and helped us, not only to find the right equipment, but also to perform repairwork on our gear, all without asking. Besides, the shop has great selection of items which are easy to find. I will be happily back any day!

K. W.I phoned this store much earlier today re some garden pots that I had liked online,
and that were indicated as being available in the Queenstowm store. Whilst the initial recepient of my call was polite and professional, the female in the Garden Dept I spoke with made me feel like I was putting her to way too much trouble to deal with my enquiry!! FYI as yet I have not received a call back from this lady. Therefore Mitre Mega QT have lost the sale. The service at Nichols Cromwell was fabulous and I was very satisfied with my purchase. Rather wished I hadn't looked online to begin with!
P. H.With no Bunnings around for many miles and only a smallish placemakers sharing its space with mico (plumbing), basically across the road, this is your best bet for DIY building supplies in the Queenstown area.

A.The young lady who cut two spare padlock keys for me was great. I had already tried M10 in Wanaka and the guy failed, she needed to cut them manually and was very upfront about the high chance they wouldn’t work - both worked perfectly!
Bunnings told me it couldn’t be done and the guy tried in Wanaka but failed.
Very happy I now have spares that work. Thank you
