Great shopping but the air conditioning is so bad we had to leave. I feel sorry for the staff and it limited our ability to shop through the store. We were in and out as quick as possible.

Love, love this place. Amazing staff, excellent bargains, well set out and if you don't know where you only need to ask. It would have been five stars if I didn't have to wait so long at the paint counter with three other customers experiencing the same. After numerous prompts over the shop intercom and 15 minutes later ... significant in my view. Would have been nice to get an apology, hopefully this will improve next time.

Some staff need to be customer focused, Also being Australian owned why can't we get things like tin tiles for ceilings? When you watch Better Homes & Gardens it's frustrating we don't have their products.. This is constructive criticism not a whinge. I made the mistake of trialling a garden swing seat and as I sat down the seat swung up away from me then as I tried to get up leaning on the thing it just kept slipping away. Thanks to passing customer I was helped up. I damaged my coxix... Trip to doc and acupuncturist little relief from pain for weeks now.

My go-to place for all things garden, home renos, crafts etc. Usually a better price too. Lots of parking. Easy to get in and out of. You can even score a sausage sizzle on the right days. Staff are always helpful. There has been a lot of negative feedback in social media lately about Bunnings Rotorua, and a friend (who wouldn't hurt a butterfly), was treated like a thief on one occasion, hence one star off. I haven't personally had any issue with them and will continue to go there for all the reasons above.

Rug Scam. love Bunnings and I really love that orange rug they have. I went to buy it and learned that the display rug is higher quality with high thread count compared the shelf rugs. The display rug is so soft and cushiony. But the ones on the shelf for sale are not even close to the same quality. You can check by opening up the threads. Few and far between. Watch out for this when buying a rug at bunnings. I will post photos soon. They refused to sell me the display rug. Bit of a rug scam going on.

One of the few places in Rotorua you can take dogs in. There's a Cafe, and if you do any DIY, there's plenty to look at. Can't say more than that. Oh, the staff are also super friendly and helpful!
