Picking up click and collect. Friendly security & staff, very helpful. Purchase was ready at time quoted. Lots of available parking. Very satisfied with my experience. My 3rd vacuum purchased in last 3 months from varying places. 3rd time lucky & it's great - also a reasonable price. 👍

I had the loveliest customer service interaction yesterday. After 11 months my vaccum (hoover) broke. It was under a 12 month warranty so I took it back to the store. Even though I bought it online, and it had been shipped from a different mitre10, the girl helping me sorted it all out by calling the store it had been shipped from and refunded with no questions and no hassle. I wish I had gotten her name to mention, because she was *that* darn helpful and caring.

Mitre 10 mega NEVER fails to provide top service. Usually? You see tonnes of workers walking around doing nothing,well not in here!! And the atmosphere is great EVEN with a busy flow of customers.

Fabulous service from Nicola McDermott. Knowledgeable and approachable, Nicola was able to explain different products and how to care for them. Once we had decided, it was a matter of tracking down stock right before Christmas. The outdoor dining set we wanted was available but she had to ring around and find out if the outdoor lounge 2 seater was available. There was one ordered by another customer which hadn't been finalised. So Nicola rang that customer to check if they still wanted the order. Turns out they didn't which was great for us! Nicola was also able to secure one of the last delivery slots before Christmas which means we'll get everything we wanted for Christmas day. Thank you so very much Nicola!

I have been a huge bunnings fan forever since we lived in Aussie, first time here at Tauranga mitre 10 mega and I loved how clean it was and organised. staff member that served us was absolutely helpful and lovely

I was just at Tauranha store, needing some strimmer cable and some info. An employee came up to me, asking if I needed anything. He explained why I was having problems, due to putting too much wire on the spool. Showed me how to fit it properly, and suggested a better option to save me some money. Not the first time that the employees in this store have risen above their rivals

Bought the budget Jobmate lawnmower from Mitre10 which came with a surprise. The lawnmower boxed up was already used, so had to return it and Mitre10 happily replaced it with a brand new one. The tools that come in the box are absolutely useless to put the wheels on, so you'll need your own shifter and pipe wrench or pliers to tighten the nuts properly. Make sure you put the handle on the right way, otherwise the catcher won't go on. But the tool guys at Mitre10 were really helpful in getting the mower sorted, so now I don't have to pay a contractor to do my lawns

Bought a generator in the weekend, turns out I can turn it on with a remote switch from the other side of Mars... the guy who helped me didn't know anything about that, so it made for a pleasant surprise, cause now I dont need to yank a chord till im too tired to actually work... Just want to give a high five to Natalia who went above and beyond today. We called in over weekend to buy a BBQ. The display model couldnt be sold but the young guy took my name and ph no and said there were supplies off site and he would get one Mon or Tues. We bought the lpg bottle and thought all was good. Today I called in, display model had sold and was told there were no more in stock. Natalia phoned Waihi, got me one and got it couriered. Good Mitre 10 store for all building needs. Usually my go to diy store especially during summer time to get my home projects sorted. Also bought some gardening equipment and plants from here and my garden is looking quite good now. Very handy location near the Gate Pa shopping centre.

After buying my brand new chainsaw at the Takanini branch on friday I went to fell some trees saturday but my tool wouldn't work so I went in to my trusted local Gate Pā branch and one of the awesome staff in power tools helped me check my casing, the guide bar, chain and hand brake again and tested my chainsaw to check it was operational. I love my Mitre 10 Mega fir all my summer jobs around the house and grounds big or small...thanks for the awesome help today & everyday I'm in store!

Generic product at high prices. Don't look for anything specialised here, they only stock what they can sell lots of. Paint is extremely expensive but is in line with other retailers. Staff very helpful.

I regularly purchase products from Mitre 10 to supply my lawn mowing and gardening business. I find the service here fantastic as I'm always greeted with a smiling face even when the employee is engaged with another task. The layout works great and the gardening area is always a pleasant experience to walkthrough. My only drawback is there does seem to be a limited range in products in certain areas. But, you will still have the option of buying a budget or higher quality product. Staff are knowledgeable and if they can't help there is often another staff member within the shop they can refer you to. 4.5 stars.

Great hardware's and homeware store, lots of products to choose from, there is a garden centre and an on site cafe. They have plenty of staff around to help when needed, and a variety of products to suit all budgets

Checkout queues are long because customers are encouraged to solve problems at the checkout instead of asking staff on the floor who are also knowledgeable about their own area. Management please note checkout staff should stick to their knitting, not ask inane questions.

We bought paint from Mitre 10 but the tint didn't match what we had. We took it back and a wonderful young lady named Lucy in the paint department spent some considerable time retinting the paint until it matched the original perfectly. Thank you Lucy for taking the time and being so cheerful and pleasant in the process. excellent customer service and definitely customer satisfaction

I called to enquire about availability of sleepers for landscaping and was told they could cut the 200 x 75mm H4 pine sleepers to the lengths I required. However, after selecting several sleepers, this service was refused because it would damage their electric saw. This was contrary to earlier advice and , furthermore, nobody was willing to help me cut with a handsaw. I left rather disappointed at my waste of time and travel. However, when I returned later to purchase other supplies, a staff member called Mark (in the landscaping yard) approached me and kindly offered to cut the sleepers for me using a handsaw. Which he did with great energy and skill. Mark's willingness to help contrasts with the lazy attitude of others in the timber yard. Management should ensure all staff do not give conflicting advice to customers and encourage staff to be more willing to provide good customer service as exemplified by Mark. Thanks to Mark, I award 3 stars instead of just one star for my overall experience at Mega on this occasion.

We are currently doing renovations and are installing a new kitchen as part of those renovations. We have been dealing with Teri Bryers (Kitchen Design Consultant) and have been extremely impressed with her flexibility, creativity, ideas and out of box thinking. This is our first reno of this kind and having Teri's guidance has been invaluable. What a great team they have in the kitchen dept at Mitre 10. It's so impressive seeing the way the team obviously get along and support each other - just makes the whole process even better!

I go to this store because it is convenient, and staff a great, But stock is limited especially for a New Zealand owned company have done several surveys but nothing seem to to change, also constantly I go in and some Isles are closed off because of getting product for restocking surely you have staff to restock after closing? like the warehouse do, also only one or 2 things on shelf of same product have been in to get 4 of something but only 2 on shelf or they can't get anymore, I then go over to Bunnings and they have 10 of the same product, if I have time or if I am over that way I go to Bunnings now as they have more verity of stock and most times cheaper.
