Great shop just wish the staff were a little more customer focused. Often visit and always have to ask for help finding things as no one welcomes or responds to customers obviously needing a hand. Such a shame and so easy to fix to give customers a great experience and make more sales.

Only real place in Waihi for hardware, building stuff so locked in abit. Some staff are great with service, others a bit ordinary - weekends must use casual/part timers as it seems to fall apart at these times. Pricing can be on the high side and stock control could do with a revamp as often run out of basics ( no you cant blame Covid for everything)

Well stocked hardware store with just about anything a home handyman would ever need, but like so many of these stores a reluctance to pay more than the minimum wage results in a lack of knowledgeable staff. Which can be a problem if you're looking for sensible advice. Having said that some staff are knowledgeable and all staff try to be helpful.

Ask for Charlotte, very helpful, if unsure on a product or location was able to find the right person straight away. Stayed with me until I had found and purchased everything I needed. I felt a sudden urge to buy a hose to connect to a hot water tap to fill a bucket, and lo and behold, I found exactly what I was after in the plumbing section. I haven't been so excited since the time I forgot about the Moro bar you get with a Colonels meal from KFC and found it in the glove box a week later
