H. T.Nice layout and really neat and clean. The cafe has sparkling water on tap (free, help yourself) which is lovely. They make a good coffee too which is rare at chain cafes!
S. S.Great staff great help with tools and such you might only need to use omce i needed to replace window wipers on a sunday and no where else was open before driving home to Chch. They only had 24inch blades so grabbed them and cut the ends off to size. Worked perfect but would have ended up buying a whole lot of extras i didnt need if staff didnt mention they could ket us use the tools at the counter they also have a vench/desk outside the main door with various tools attacehd with chains for customer use which i seen after the fact haha 😂 thank you team😘

J.Best set of toilets to use during the day, instead of those at the Rhythm and Alps campsite. Bathroom plays music so that the party never stops and you don't have to listen to your neighbour dropping logs. The hand soap smells absolutely delightful and fruity. This place is a sanctuary, a refuge, for those battlers with booze poos.

My husband LOVED it and used it every work day since, until the plastic began to crack and shortly after a poorly heated curry blew the lid off the container. I spoke with Stanley who said the "Lifetime" Guarantee is not their responsibility in New Zealand and the importer is who I should speak with. I popped into the Mitre 10 in Wanaka and the staff and managers jumped through exceptional hoops to fulfill the warranty. Truly above and beyond anything we expected . Happy to say my husband will be packing a lunch for work tomorrow and carrying it in his Stanley!! THANK YOU Mitre 10 Wanaka from one very happy household :)

L.Shop here regularly for gardening, paint and hardware needs. Experiences can be a bit hit and miss. For a small town the range of goods stocked is pretty good... However still don't always have the item I am looking for. Staff can be seasonal workers / travellers so sometimes they can't help you much... Or sometimes you strike a staff member with good knowledge. Garden centre has a good range and seasonal specials from time to time. Make an effort to host information evenings on new and sustainable building practices every few months, with light snacks and drinks. These evenings have been great!
