Great deals etc. except they need more staff at the tills. Most staff are great kind people. Once in a while you get a grumpy one but that’s quite rare in recent times.

Bunnings has lots of useful things to use for building. They have timber, metal, steel, and tones of tools for building. If you’re looking to build a fence, garden because they have a garden area for people into gardens, shed or literally anything come to Bunnings. They also have a playground for children while the adults are shopping and a cáfe for people looking to get a nice coffee. And in that I would always recommend coming to Bunnings.

Large warehouse - they can cut timber for you which is a free service, the smallest length they can cut is 300 and have accuracy can be +- 5-15mm from experience. Staff have always been helpful. Also have. Good gardening section and rugs storage

Useful large store, all the functional basics you'll need nothing fancy, subdued colours on everything, disposable budget products and materials. Takes ages to get through checkout. Careful buying tap wear. I bought a kitchen mixer and found out later they don't stock the same brand/size replacement washers! They had to give me washers from the display model. The garden center is compact and the plants are inexpensive. Garden furniture is v good quality.

This is pretty much the place where all middle aged fathers go in for just one thing that will "just be five minutes son", and then 2 hours later you are thinking about leaving the car to send out a store search party, then your dad comes out with a dozen items that were on sale, in a large trolley piled high. This would not be a problem if they had the famous sausage sizzle everyday they are open. Oh well, at least the 4g tower is only 100 metres away, so you can use social media, news apps, and google news feed.

The good: - If you are buying a very heavy or bulky item.. you can drive your Pickup truck or Van inside the store to the loading bay - everything is well segregated - Use the app to see if other things are presently out of stock but sold by them -If you are hungry they have a cafe inside The Bad: - Custom orders are almost never on time - Limited in options on kitchen during and wardrobes -

At the moment they have four Father Christmases up on the wall, pencils and colouring in at the cafe and a little play gym area for kids - add that to customer toilets including baby change table available and the cherry on the top are those little trolleys for kids to push. You have at least 45 mins of entertainment in one visit!

I needed a part to repair a bathroom catch. The bathroom guy Bruce doesn't work Sundays but l got good help from Alo and eventuly decided to buy a new loo seat. The price sticker said 10 year warranty but the box said 3. I asked both the Checkout operator then the hardware guy Ben who phoned someone and the answer was neither. It was none. Once out of the packaging it can't be returned to Bunnings and we'd have to contact the manufacturer ourselves. Advice might be contrary to the sale of goods act. So in summary very helpful staff but dodgy prouduct inormation.

An iconic hardware store and in my opinion the best in Wellington. Good parking, helpful staff and a HUGE range of goods. Prices are OK - a shame that they don't have any trade discount or cash discount cards or services as offered by the competition - however they do have a good range of products to choose from, and unlike the other Tory Street store that often doesn't have the product I am after owing to lack of space, the Rongotai store always has everything.

It's Bunnings, so if you've ever been to a Bunnings before you will know what to expect. The store has an inexpensive and fairly good café, there are bathrooms, a semi-outdoor garden and landscape centre, a large drive-through trade centre where an extensive range of timber products and a selection of cement products are available. The middle of the store stocks pretty much everything which one could expect of a large hardware store. Tools, paint, cleaning, lighting, plastering, carpet, electrics, garden equipment and of course, hardware, just to name a few things sold here.
