Bunnings Warehouse is part of 'The Hub' in Whakatane. It's a D.I.Y., garden & hardware store and is fairly extensive. The staff are friendly and super helpful. Their garden center has a lot of variety and mostly good value. Both normal trolleys and flat trolleys for large items are available. They have a fair bit of variety within items also e.g. 3-4 different types/brands of bark, different types of solar garden lights ranging from super-cheap to reasonably upmarket.

Wow , called at 1.18 pm for advice after buying Betta concrete sealer on what to do prior to painting over. The advice I received was spot on , was not on container or website of maker in Australia. The young man's name was Shaun .huge wraps his previous job experience in decorating was invaluable. Hes a huge asset to the team.I will be back in to buy the tools he suggested.

I have purchased several products over the years from Whakatane branch. The staff from your greeting girl to all staff, nothing was to much trouble, they extend themselves to every senario. Often businesses are blasted for lack of service, product etc, the problem is that why not praise the workplace that does the right thing....just saying

Considering it was a hot, busy day nearing Christmas, staff were helpful and reassuring. Structurally, the lanes are way too narrow in the trade centre to load materials onto your trailer, particularly, if there's another vehicle in the same lane. System in place was just not working. There were only a few other vehicles there but it created quite a lot of friction. Maybe best to go when it's not a busy time of year! Still, great prices and service!

Regular customer here, good friendly service lack of staff of staff on checkouts can be annoying at times which is why only 4 stars. Bit of a nightmare finding stuff at the moment as they are going through a refit and everything has been moved around so if you can't find something you will need to ask.

Great service by friendly staff, they have recently had a facelift for the whole store with wider isles and better signage. There is an area at the rear of the outdoor garden area with all the pavers - trellis - bird cloth -shade cloth - and all those outdoor improvements are there.
