OK staff ( some of them ) were helpful but item I wanted was out of stock & I was asked to pay for my item in advance. Policy could do with an overhaul. Reluctantly recommended.

Splendid range of products and prices - something for everyone. Yes, good prices comparable to similar stores. Staff are not only helpful, they are also knowledgeable. If they are uncertain, they consult, and learn for next time (such a relief). Very friendly staff as well. I'll be back!

Bunnings Whanganui does well given it's size They have future plans for a a mitre 10 Mega size operation here. I'd switch for range if they did it.

Lovely staff, great selection of tools and redecorating products. Minimal to no garden area at this branch, there's a small stand out the front and thats it. Good prices and easy layout to find what your after.

This Bunnings is always hard to get good service. Today, I eventually found really good help. Their selection is poor, especially for Wanganui, Hawera runs rings around them. I got what I wanted, but that's all that can be said for it. Other Bunnings are great places to shop.

Very helpful staff who know their stuff and importantly know where stuff is, intimate workshop atmosphere a definite plus. Their in-house brands are good quality and really priced for budget conscious people. I know I get great bang for my buck there.

This is the hub for tools. It is a mini Mitre 10 and is perfect if you want anything specific to grab and head out immediately without wasting too much time. The staff is helpful and guide you with whatever help you need. The place is however quite cluttered and an expansion should be on order.

My partner and I went in to Bunnings yesterday Saturday 10 March. The staff were so friendly and helpful I didn’t Catch the lady and gentleman’s names but it was so lovely to have great service even though they didn’t have a few of the items we were after. I would love to see a full sized Bunnings warehouse in the near future in Whanganui so I don’t have to go to Mitre 10 Mega Whanganui.
