Reviews of Auckland City Hospital
L.
Amazing staff at the labour and birthing suite. Helpful, compassionate, educational just all the great things that make the pain of giving birth so much more easier. Anna Ramsey was amazing as well as all the midwives there that helped me get through. This is my 3rd baby and this was for sure the Best birthing experience to date.
L.
Recently gave birth to my first baby here and had a smooth experience. The birthing unit was great with all the facilities you need. Midwife was very knowledgeable and a great coach through the birth process. Afterwards the nurses who took care of me and baby were very attentive too and provided useful advice on breastfeeding, although some of their opinions conflicted with each other. Also waiting for final things to get done for the baby can take quite a bit of time but that was kind of expected considering they weren’t urgent. Only other thing is the food they provide is not yum at all so suggest bringing your own
L.
A special thanks to A Monk and the team for an incredible job on a complicated hip replacement. So grateful cannot thank you enough. And thanks to the staff and nurses ward 75
Service and care was top rated.
Thank you all so much keep up the amazing work. Life changer for me.
S.
At 1st this Hospital is like a maze, but once we figured it out it was fine, during the week days they have people situated at the entrances of the building available to help.
We were very satisfied with the care and treatment that was given, shout out to ward 83 neurosurgery unit, 99% of the staff were amazing, the 1% need training on patient care and to learn empathy
T.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Navigation around the wards/rooms can be challenging as poorly sign posted. Car parking can be at a premium during busy periods.

I was admitted recently to the ED, after which I had to stay in Neurology for a few days while awaiting an MRI and be kept under evaluation.
It felt like a long and slow stay, but I wouldn’t expect any different from public healthcare.
What was important to me was how brilliantly the staff and doctors treated me for the week that I was there. They were incredibly kind, genuine & patient. I couldn’t have hoped for a better team.
Thank you so much!

One of the largest public hospitals in Auckland region.
It has many super speciality departments which serve the public well.
The location is easily accessible by road and public transport.
Ample paid parking is available on site.
The doctors and staff are highly competent and nice.
It is close to Auckland domain and one can quickly go there for an unwinding stroll.
Emergency department is well equipped and maintained.
Highly recommended.
S.
Nurses Deeja & Mani in W74 were absolutely wonderful and as a trainee Enrolled Nurse, they showed me their skills and passion on patient care and medical technique. Blessings to them both.
R.
A fine place with excellent doctors, colleagues and knowledge. The funding is poor however the commitment of these people is beyond reproach
E.
Real heroes in Auckland CBD hospital. Covid and variant omicron are well under control with the best doctors and nurses. Thank you 🙏 for your help. You are the best
N.
I went as a support person of my Friend who was about to deliver a baby and yes during a labour and birth there was an awesome midwife named Karen who is kind, knowledgeable and expert in her duties. Even during baby birth another girl Caroline came to help her and yes a tiny baby feet were happily arrived on a mother earth. Thanks for helping us. much love.
A.
Congratulations to ward 63 and the Accident unit. I spent four nights in hospital and can not say how wonderful the staff are. A special mention of gratitude to the night staff of ward 63 who were always kind and helpful and made my stay more than bearable!
B.
Thank you to the staff especially those in ICU you are amazing, true empathy, caring considerate and respectful. Though we lost a loved one your support and genuine caring did not go unnoticed by us and we would like to thank you for doing a such a great job in a very challenging space. Thank you
S.
Went to the Emergency Department, was assigned to a Dr. Lynn, she was amazing. My first time in an emergency and the doctor was excellent. The nurses were incredibly pleasant, this was crazy. I would expect treatment like this if I paid a lot in a star hotel but the way they treated me helped take my mind off my issue a lot. I am a bit socially stunted compared to the average person and I still felt very welcome, it wasn't just me; I could overhear the conversations going on with the other patients and it was the same treatment overall(ps: can't be very secretive about your problems in an emergency room, there's just thin curtains to section off each patient, but IMO you are least bothered about privacy/modesty when your life is on the line). I was treated well enough, I'm not a medical expert and can't assess it for any review, it worked for me and overall I left the place happy, glad this place worked out for me.
b.
What a wonderful place this is... and would like say Thank you to all the Doctor,s... Nurse,s... Cleaners..
And food people... You are the best... Thank you once more...

On Friday 2nd March 2018 my wife was booked in to have a Pacemaker Lead Extraction/Replacement. We were very worried about the operation. When we had a meeting with Dr Nigel Lever I said to him that I have heard so much about his skills, he then said that it is a team effort.
He was right, we have been to many private hospitals in Australia & New Zealand but we have never seen service and a team effort like we received at Auckland Hospital as everyone worked so well together.
So thank you to so many people that we never could meet but to Nigel Lever & Dr Andrew Martin you are the best and we hope that management of Auckland Hospital are very proud of your team.
Thank you, Nigel, Andrew, Marion, Chrissie, Dunne, Anna and many more, we are sorry we don't have all your names.
Steve & Anne Brennan (I didnt tell my wife i would post her photo !)

Children's A&E hospital, amazing staff. The nurses and doctors are very thorough with checkups.
M.
All the staff are professional, friendly and helpful,I appreciate it,Im really greatful for the experience I had. The nurses were very kind, considerate. They talk so nice, So Im just thankful and I couldn't of asked for better. Thank you and God bless😊😊
A.
The building is clean and orderly. Staff members are kind and respectful. The food is served in a timely manner and offers a good, healthy variety. They have a great range of services available. Parking can be tricky during certain times. They have free wifi that's actually pretty good.
Wait times are truly horrendous. My transfer from Middlemore had me waiting in the CDU for over 8 hours before I was finally sent to the appropriate ward. Doctors are like an endangered species so spotting them is rare.
Communication is severely lacking across and within departments, and you will often be given contradicting info and instructions by different staff members. Make sure you ask questions and clarify as much as possible.
Whatever you do, don't get sick or have an accident during public holidays (like me, who got a massive kidney stone and infection over Easter), because all wards seem to operate on a skeleton crew during these times.
L.
If you have an appointment, its important to go an hour or so early, as traffic around there can be really bad. We recently left home an hour early and spent 30 mins waiting in the traffic right next to the hospital. Its a nightmare also looking for carpark if you run out of time as well. Hopefully it gets better with construction around the hospital dies down.
A.
Staff Nurse Maria (CDU) you are awesome, cheers girl, you were so kind.
M.
I cut tendons on my foot.
The team at the hospital are outstanding.
I thank them for their skill professionalism and caring nature.
The entire staff are doing a magnificent job and I couldn't of asked for better. Thank you
M.
Thank you to all hospital nurses, nicu, midwives and doctors for delivering my baby and also looking after him while he was in hospital for 5 days on antibiotics. Unbelievably excellent health care thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤👍👌👌👌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😊
P.
Thank you. My wife has been suffering food allergies, and it can get serious pretty fast.
We appreciate the care we have received from you over the last 6 or so months. It does take time to get through the system there, so it is a shame that you are so stretched.
Your help is essential and greatly appreciated.
Y.
Many thanks for Auckland City Hospital Maternity Unit. We were really impressed by high professionalism and attitude of Lisa - out maternity midwife. Thank you very much and we wish you, Lisa, the best in the future.
s.
Auckland Hospital staff is extremely caring, loving and compassionate including all the doctors, nurses and consultants of Women assessment unit and Early pregnancy unit-
Ward 97. Special thanks to all of them.
I was hospitalised for a few days and had a laparoscopic surgery. I was amazed to see that I was always informed by senior doctors and consultants about what was happening with me.
There was adequate staff to take care of me.
It was extremely overwhelming to see that each staff member was expressing empathy and checking with me if I was doing fine in that timeframe. Thank you so much. 🙏🙏
My overall experience was great!!
P.
For a public hospital it's good enough, friendly staffs in general. Information desk are quite helpful.
A.
Nah I've had the best treatment by far. Amazing team of nurses who go the extra mile
C.
Thankyou once again to all the staff for looking after my darling
J.
I recently had surgery at ACH and stayed a few nights in the maternity wards. I have so much gratitude and appreciation for everyone that is overworked and doing their best. The public don't see how much these people go out of their way to help and how much they actually do. All I have to say is thank you for delivering my child safely and attending to his much needed needs in his complicated first moments of life. I appreciate everything:))
a.
On a personal level I found the hospital excellent. The doctors and nursing staff were very good and I was well looked after. I spent 7 days in hospital after a 5 hour operation and was well cared for. The medical staff were brilliant as were the nursing team. My only criticism was the food, but it is contracted out to a so called catering company. Breakfast was fine, the sandwiches we're good but anything that required cooking was bland, and tasteless. If you like over sugary food then you will love. Otherwise get food from downstairs.
L.
I have been there twice. The reception staff at level 5 is very nice. The lady at level 15 (Liver Unit at level 15) is very professional and also nice.
D.
I was recently transferred from North Shore Hospital to the Auckland Hospital cardiology
unit ward 34, to await a replacement TAVI aortic valve.
Despite the wait I experienced (2x weeks) due to more pressing cases, I have nothing but praise for the
level of care and attention I received. The nursing staff were very professional but at the same time were
light hearted and friendly. So too the domestic staff (meals, cleaning etc) were very pleasant.
My outcome so far is very successful, due no doubt to the skills of the cardiologists.
I was very well informed on what to expect and found the interaction with Jonathon White reassuring.
My compliments to Auckland Hospital. Please pass on my comments to the ward staff.
Donald Pickering
s.
Staff are good except mouthy security that lie and think thier cool
If u get moved room,s you may need to re discuss what pain relief you need so you don't go from pain release to anti flam . .
S.
This hospital is amazing!! I have been here about 4 times in the last year to visit family and other people and the nurses, doctors, and health care assistance are amazing-so kind, caring, tender, loving and empathetic. The rooms are always spotless. When i broke my arm when i was five, and when i collapsed three years ago, all the staff were so empathetic towards me and made me do lots of tests to ensure all was okay, and a big part of my fast recovery from my collapse was because of the amazing staff at Auckland hospital. The nurses and doctors understand what the patients are going through and there health problem and are very efficient. This place is the best hospital and thank you is not enough. Highly reccomend it. The chef cook wonderful food to. A credit to all the staff at Auckland hospital for there hard work and dedication. Thank you again!👍😊
G.
I have stayed in ACH for 5 days now and despite hospitals being a pretty awful experience I have been treated by some wonderful Doctors and Nurses. I really can't thank them all enough for their reassurance and kindness. One of the male nurses even managed to get my drip out of my arm without waking me up.
For the nurses who were working in ward 42, 75 and 74 between 11th March - 16th March, thank you very much xx
R.
Amazing Doctors, Nurses, and Staff, only had to wait for around 10 - 15 minutes before seeing a Nurse and/or Doctor, I had to sit in a separate room that's been setup as an isolation room (because of Covid-19), but other than that, this a really good hospital to go to!
S.
Have been admitted twice in the past 5 years and each time the staff were really good. The nurses do a great job despite being understaffed and overworked but that's a problem in all hospitals. I think everyone including the doctors do their professional best and I am very grateful to everyone who helped me in my times of need.
M.
A big hospital mostly doing it’s best. My father was admitted for acute kidney failure. The tests and facilities were excellent. The specialists/doctors seemed to change daily and always seemed to be dashing in and out. Hard to lock down for a conversation or to answer questions. Waited ages for consultations etc. Dad was moved multiple times. Always seemed to need his bed/ward for another patient. Nursing staff varied but mostly excellent. Good patient meals - healthy and good variety. Parking SHOCKING. Cost me nearly $400 by the end of a protracted illness. Added immeasurably to stress. Queues of traffic not moving into hospital at visitor times. Up 6 levels to find a park normal.
Short of beds. Often had to search for nurses ( but awesome when they finally came).
Really big hospital. Mission to get anywhere. Food options for visitors great.
J.
One of the best and largest hospital in the country with all specialist department you need. Helpful staff, professional doctors and nurses. The only issue is that you could be waiting for hours before you get seen by a doctor in the emergency department. We were there for almost Seven hours before we got seen and some patients waited much longer. Suggest you take your phone charger with you.
M.
The facilities here are good, and our surgeon was excellent, but the post-op care received in the ward was pretty sub-standard. Following surgery that made it painful to eat solid foods and impossible to drink without a straw, it seemed unnecessarily difficult to get proper assistance in the ward.
A solid meal arrived, so we asked a nurse if soup was available instead. That nurse wasn't our 'assigned' nurse (she told us this) so was clearly reluctant to help, but assured us she'd arrange soup for us. An hour and a half later (with my wife not having had any food in 24 hours and following intensive surgery) I had to ask another nurse to follow-up. My original request had fallen on deaf ears, so she asked the kitchen staff again. Amazing, given that this was the ward for people who have had throat surgery, the kitchen had no soup and only solid food for meals. All they could offer was some yoghurt and water. Those were provided without a straw, so I headed out again to request a straw. The young nurse I found was leaning against an IV drip, playing on her phone. She didn't look up until I spoke, didn't say a word, and when I asked for a straw she vaguely motioned to some unmarked drawers against a wall, again not saying a word. I had to head out again later with another request and she was the only nurse around, sitting at a workstation and still playing on her phone, clearly ignoring the fact that I was waiting for attention at the reception desk. A difficult and unpleasant experience during trying times.
G.
My health as not been hundred percent, every time I've been bought via ambulance (who has my full support ) to A &E. everything starts from there by taking care of me right to moving me to the ward. All the staff are lovely we can laugh & joke and still makes sure I am as comfortable as can be. The Doctors try and keep me up to date with what's happening. Wonderful staff all round....Thank you :)
R.
My daughter had her baby here doctors wonderful could’ve been a normal birth heart beat well until her midwife Nadia Pendigrast turned up did an internal hurt her inside and baby heart beat unstable. Whatever Nadia did ended up with c section wish we hadn’t contacted her!
R.
A well run modern medical facility with plenty of access to transportation like buses , trains and all 3 Motorways. Caring staff and top notch equipment ensures that you are in the best place for your treatment .
s.
I delivered here and happy with the friendly staff and doctors. But there were few misses which I am not happy about. I was in intermittent labor for 2 weeks and every time I called the mid wife, they either checked me and sent me back as I wasn't in full labor. After 2 weeks when I had dilated enough they realised that my baby position led to long labor. Had they checked this in my 3 visits before I could have started exercises to change the position or they could have tried. When I spoke to the mid wife the last time expressing my frustration about this long labor and discomfort and requesting to give some medicine or admit me to observe me. I said I was fed up - the head mid wife said that fed up doesn't mean you are in labor. Absolutely no empathy towards my suffering since 2 weeks. Also after the c section, when asked about my long signed request of family planning operation, they looked up my notes and said sorry but we missed it !!
C.
Good hospital, don't like being there of course. Staff are, at times, run off their feet. Family can assist the poor nurses, at times, by tending their sick family member. Not too many visitors at once though if you can swing it... Gets a bit congested.
L.
Thanks for all doctors & All Staff 🙏 and special thanks to family who save my life it’s been nearly 5 years I am living and enjoying because of you all .
Please God all keep your kindness on every one 🙏
L.
Great service, kid friendly environment. Recommended kids hospital.
T.
The CarPark A is quite full, need some time for looking for an available car park, the man and the reception in the old Hospital building were nice, except the short hair middle aged woman in the level 9 Maternity Ultrasound was arrogant, the letter I received from them, there’s obviously two mistakes, one is typo, the other one is totally wrong, it should be turn left at the main entrance. So careless and misleading !! Please see the attached pic, FYI. the woman said “it’s depend on what’s side are you‘ how ignorance!! Can’t believe it’s said from a Hospital receptionist....BTW the doctor is very nice. One missing star for the error and attitude of the receptionist
K.
I can not thank all the staff at Auckland City Hospital enough for the care they showed me from the moment I arrived in Emergency until discharge. I was frightened as my throat was swelling and I was having trouble speaking, swallowing & breathing. They reassured me and got me straight to a bed in emergency and an IV in me. The staff in emergency were calm, capable & caring. I was then seen by Dr Tony Zheng, a very talented ENT surgeon who diagnosed and admitted me and carefully explained my care plan to me. Dr Zheng checked in with me Morning and Night while I was under his care. A big shout out to the amazing nurses and carers in Ward 74!!! This is the head and neck surgery ward. I noticed on the wall that this ward had won awards before & rightfully so. No matter how run off their feet they were, they always made you feel safe, important & cared for. Absolute angels!!! I am better now and feeling very positive about the goodness of people thanks to the excellent care I received.
E.
Auckland City Hospital is a rather under appreciated if you are dying and bleeding out but the hospitals staff and equipment saves you who do you thank? God and luck. Who should you thank? The people who just saved your life and just worked a 20hr shift to save numerous other lives. Be thankful for the services you receive. Especially when they are good quality
G.
I underwent surgery here this afternoon. The staff looked after me exceptionally well right through. I have been here many times in the past and I highly recommend this facility to any patient who requires the services of these well trained people.
A.
Staff members are friendly, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. Fully equipped with various machines and labs. Their lobby also equipped with plenty of amenities and shops. However, if you visit the hospital between noon and the afternoon you'll find that the competition for their parking space is extremely fierce; so fierce that the queue often goes out to Park Road.
Y.
My father was in Auckland City Hospital for a period of about five weeks. He was attended to by an amazing amount of Doctors and Nurses. He also had excellent care from the watch nurses and the AUT 2nd year students doing their placements. To the various personal involved in his care our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the respect and kindness given him. He is home now. Thankyou.
J.
Staff are great! Amazing medical treatment only thing I can falult them on is the receptionists they're all Indian or Chinese and don't have a clue I imagine alot of the doctor's time is wasted doing they're job. Sack them and hire English speaking people that are compassionate, caring and can use initiative
R.
Such an efficient and helpful staff! Was seen very quickly, assessed by a doctor faster than at any other hospital I've been to. The nurses were extremely caring and attentive, was as good as a hospital experience can be.
T.
Whanau / meeting rooms are available if you need em. Can be booked too and allow a good central space to keep everyone in one place for a while.
The staff here are amazing, if you need to be here - this is the absolute best hospital around.
Have spent a fair share at subway - but Planet Espresso coffee is really awesome too!
M.
Probably one of the best hospitals in the world!! The staff are exceedingly nice, professional, loving and so much taking care of their patients, the doctors take their time to discuss issues intensly and really care about you. Fabulous...they made my stay so much nicer and comforting. Thank you all very, very much!!
C.
I checked in this morning. From reception, pre surgery care, surgical team, post surgery, ward nursing care
And discharge the professional and thoughtful , caring Way I was treated was absolutely wonderful. A special thanks to Doctor Cat and her team and to Sam. Walked out feeling mentally t physically good.
We are blessed in our country to have such amazing health care Thanks a whole heap ACH
G.
My wife just had surgery led by Dr. Sarah Fitzgibbon. The entire team from the 9th floor reception to pre-op, to anesthetists to ward 97 nurses and doctors were so caring and loving it was humbling to be the recipients of such loving care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
H.
The staff at ADHB were very caring and efficient when I visited there recently, especially the radiology department. There was this one girl who was very supportive and compassionate 5 stars all round, her name was Aoife c
R.
I stayed on Ward 61 from 6-10 September and I was extremely happy with the way I was treated and the professional, efficient way the in which the staff worked. They were also pleasant and helpful and I cannot think of any way in which they could have provided a better experience. Congratulations Ward 61 -- you're great!!
S.
Auckland city hospital is amazing, I was only in the waiting room for 30 minutes the nurses were so helpful and caring. Very professional and they did an excellent job looking after me when I was sick.
B.
Awesome nursing staff and extremely comfortable with great doctors and great food service.
L.
Very helpful staff, great hospital! only big issue is the finding a car park, as I now have been there twice, and have found the car park B is closed only staff allowed to park there. Very inconvenient. Please update your website, advising visitors and patients about the car parking issues that you are having! We should not be treated like this!
D.
This is the best hospital I've ever seen. I am paramedic in Germany and we've got a very good health system but Auckland City Hospital is better. I totally can recommend it to everybody. Doctors and nurses are very kind and competent.
I.
I and my family have been recipients of Auckland Hospital's services and care over a period of 13 years, including, for example, maternity (birth of our son), urgent childcare in Starship A&E (appendectomy by micro-surgery, treatment of concussion from a fall), investigation/treatment in a case of suspected heart attack, and in a separate case of suspected stroke (both deemed to have been caused by viral infections).
It would be difficult to fault this hospital.
A.
My daughter delivered a baby girl on may 6th 2019. Fantastic. . No words to say anything more. I was there for three days with her . Good hospitality.
D.
I have been here as a patient and visitor and found my experience as a patient well taken cared for.As a visitor it has improved with signage of where things are.Parking can get really busy so patience is needed.. Cafeterias subway gift shop are handy to have.
D.
The staff are amazing - caring and professional. From the ED to the wards.
And the food was great. Nothing "hospital" about it, just like home cooked meals including allergy friendly choices. Thank you.
B.
I actually work here, and I've been impressed with this place ever since I've been hired on. There will always be a bad egg here or there, but the vast majority of the staff are ready and willing to help or get someone who can with a smile on their face. Hope I never have to be admitted, but if I am, I know I'll be well looked after
J.
Very caring, compassionate people at Ward 97. Took care of my wife for days and attended to her every need without hesitation. Thank you. Salamat. You have our gratitude.
W.
Went to see a person at 10.30 pm at mointering. Staff at reception were friendly, helpful showed me where to go. Only a 3 minute wait.
C.
Awesome service and staff very friendly and professionals. They take care of us. The emergency staff is very calm and comprehensive
R.
Located in Grafton. Not far from Symonds street. You can get good treatment here but you need to have some patience. As there is a long list of patients waiting for treatment.Patients from all over 🇳🇿 are being treated here. Had really good experience here.Find subway, pharmacy and cafe at Level 5.

To whom it may concern.
Just giving feedback on a delivery nurse by the name JOE, whom took me to my CT scan from emergency department roughly around midnight. looking between the age of 50 - 65, of slim build. N roughly 5.8" to 5.9".
I did not appreciate her views, assumptions and personal judgemental remarks toward myself and a dear friend of mine whom came to support me in my time l was at the hospital getting tendered too. As l found this rude, some comments were racist and very unprofessional.
It was so obvious with this nurse Joe voicing her negative personal comments....as my friend and l had several pleasant experiences with respectful, lovely mannered and professional nurses and doctors previous to this nurse Joe.
A dramatic difference!
Just letting awareness be known to whatl experienced as a very sad an unpleasant experience...and l hope to not experience such rudeness again.
H.
Has been here several times, and I feel ward service becomes worse than last visit, ward care team feel really short staff, and service like change bedding every day is not available anymore, and the food for patients are not good at all. Hope make improvements soon.
I.
Overall VERY GOOD. Just minor things to look after. GREAT STAFF all round!! From cleaning, nursing doctor , students, meals - these people are WORTHY of the accolades and pay. Service to other's and NOT service to self
H.

I would like to thank Dr Chris McKay and the staff on the NICU unit. Three weeks ago today our little grandson was born and lived for 13 hours. he was 6lb 7oz and almost full term but could not breathe on his own. The staff, the Dr were so marvellous to us as a grieving family. We were never hurried, given space, allow us hours to spend cuddling this little man as he passed away in his daddy's arms. We were treated with dignity and sympathy which was genuinely felt and every consideration for us was made. A little box with everything connected to Benji was given - even a little lock of his hair. I cannot sing the praises of the NICU unit for all that the staff did during this tragic time for us

I’d just like to say a huge thank you to the Emergency team who looked after me so well after my accident in May this year. You are all professionals in your field and I rate you highly.
I’m donating a gift to Ronald Mc Donald house as my thanks to you and hopefully it will help give a little back to those who need help.
With much appreciation Iain S 👍
D.
The hospital is huge and a bit like navigating through a maze. However the staff were very professional at their job, really friendly and caring.
D.
Done all kinds of Damage to myself the staff are always friendly and attentive. Always seen and out within 4hrs. 8hrs with a broken foot in 4 places but that's to be expected. Excellent job

Thank you to all the nurses and doctors especially “Dr Richard Doocey” who treated me as a king ..you people are heroes without a shiny medal on your clothes uniform, but medal of honours in your heart.. i cant thank you enough from the bottom of my heart...you are the most unselfish people who treat the sick and still get abused by them, you can choose not to treat ungrateful and abuser but you still do your responsibilities with a great 💖
V.

(Translated) I really want to give the Auckland hospital a full score. All the nurses and doctors are very patient and enthusiastic. My boyfriend and I are not very good at the doctor. The doctors are very patient and help us to use the translator to translate and test it several times. The young lady who experienced pharmacy is also very nice and also helped us to make a discount. Thanks to the people who met here, Thanks and Merry Christmas (PS: I didn’t charge it at the time and emailed me invoice is still very expensive)

(Translated) The emergency room was great! Since I came from Germany my companion had to call for eternity because of the insurance, but it was already well looked after me. The staff was super nice and very competent, everything was super clean and hygienic. I even got breakfast. Practically, the pharmacy was directly in the house. So if you have an emergency and have to go to the emergency room, I can definitely recommend it.

(Translated) Very good hospital because some German doctors can learn something!
