G.So pleased we enrolled our new puppy here! Had a really great experience, even in lockdown, getting her vaccinations. The team were very friendly reassuring and kept us chatting throughout.
I then called up for some advice in the evening about a bee sting, was put straight through to the vet and got nothing but genuine concern and calming guidance. For a new dog owner, I felt reassured and confident.

R.Had to take my cat in at very last minute for an eye infection and doctor was super helpful and gave me some ointment for my little one which didn’t cost an arm and leg. Great service and am now going to enrol my puppy with them.
C.Nice vet, had to take my son's cat in for an abcessed puncture wound and just over an hour later we were able to pick up his cat. Second visit to get stitches removed was painless and charges for operation, visit and meds was reasonable.
g.The empathy of the staff there was amazing .I had to euthanise my 18 year old cat ,a heartbreaking decision...I spent time wth my cat after the procedure so I could grieve for him which I so appreciated I'm truly grateful to the staff !

Being a vet can't be an easy job as their patients can't tell them what's going on, but they are experienced, they communicate clearly and walk us through their thinking and treatment plan.
When things don't go well they are caring and compassionate.
j.Mum took her cat here to get his claws clipped and was done in about 3 minutes fantastic.

N.As an employee of Bayvet for the past 6 years, I can vouch for the care and concern our vets and staff show to all animals in our care. Our vets are qualified, caring and very skilled surgeons. Google reviews cannot be removed or altered, so bad reviews will remain , even though they are sometimes untruthful and often times, as in the case of Paige H, defamatory. Unfortunately people hide behind pseudonyms and feel powerful, yet won't address things with the people concerned.
We are in the vet industry because we truly care. I hope this review helps people to get a better perspective from the other side of the table or screen as it were...
F.Best vet on the north shore by far. Been going there for over 15 years and have never had better customer service, pet service, fair fees, clean work areas and great products.
A.Kit and Ingrid have been looking after a Saving Hope Puppy who has been extremely unwell. They have both answered my calls and late evening txt's and Kit has come out twice on a Sunday to help.
Above and Beyond the call of duty - Thank you so much.

O.I just want to thank the team at Bayvet and especially the wonderful Vet Ingrid for what she did for my dog. She has changed his life literally overnight! With Prolotherapy he was back 100% to his old self the next day. Running on our lifestyle block with the horses no lameness at all. Fantastic.

J.I love being looked after by Kit and his team, I've been going for many years, I dont live in Suckland anymore but still come to Kit
S.I've been to a few vets over the years of owning dogs. I started off seeing Kitt at Bay Vet about 12 years ago as it was local, I then tried others as I moved out of the area. I've not found anyone that I feel more confident and comfortable with looking after my dogs and I now make a special trip back to see Kitt when needed. I highly recommend.
H.The staff are so lovely to my cat when I have to leave her at 'CatMed' in their cattery when I go away. They make sure they know the food she likes and her sensitivity. She's very shy and getting old so they put her in a separate place. Really the best place and not expensive.
Its now a year on, December 2019 and Mindi is much more relaxed about her holiday at Bayvet. So its still 5 stars for Kit, Natalie and team.
P.Over the last three years I've taken my cat there twice for two different reasons. The vet hasn't resolved either of those issues and I've ended up going elsewhere, twice. I'm not going back. Shame because it's my local vet :(

J.Took my cat down to the vet hear in brownsbay due to it being hit by a car . Ddnt see him for 4 days came home limping really badly he was laying down eating soo took him down that day nd staff checks him over most wounderfull and friendly staff took care of him looks after him had 2 surgery due to 2 broken legs front leg had to be amputated and a steal metal rod in the back leg. He is now at full health and acting like normal thanks bayvet

S.My semi-wild female cat Snowflake needed medical attention, but she isn't easy to deal with due to her huge fear responses. They dealt with her kindly and within 24 hours, she was almost back to her old self again. They stated she was very good. She had a long-acting antibiotic, an xray and bloods taken.
Squeaky was treated 5th Apr 2022 as her eating was poor and she appeared to have a sore leg. I had taken her to a different Vet previously for treatment and had her bloods done. I was told she had mild inflammation. When I asked what I could do for her, I was fobbed off. I was worried about her as shd had lost weight. BayVet listened and she got an antibiotic & anti-inflammatory injections and now she's a different cat. She is eating well and playing again.
I have to say it's so good to have a Vet listen to the owner, do an assessment and then give a suitable treatment. I am usually quick to pick up a change in my cats.
