It's an excellent facility for new moms and their babies. All the midwives were incredibly patient and helpful. I wish we could have stayed a day longer but COVID restrictions apply. My wife enjoyed the food provided but I stuck with UberEATS.

Our experience at birth care was excellent and all the midwives are very kind and professional.specially I want to thank Midwife Ann Standing.she looked after me and my baby most of the time at birth care and she is full of knowledge and kindness.she will come within 5 mins to help everytime I rang her.as first time parents we were new to the subject and birth care made our first few days very easy and left with confidence. As its locked down time our parents couldn't come ,but Ann was like a mother to us ,helping and encouraging us with everything. I give a big hug to Ann and a thank all the other midwives and the rest of the staff, receptionist and food service.
Highly recommend this place to new parents.

We had a great experience at Birthcare. The midwives were very supportive and everytime when we needed their help they came in within minutes. My wife and I really liked a couple of midwives Mary and the one with the British accent who were the most helpful. They did an excellent job helping with breastfeeding and explaining how to bath a baby. Also, I really appreciate how upon our checkout they checked a capsule to make sure the baby is all safe in it and explained us how to adjust the straps and gave a good advise on how to make the baby in her capsule even more safe during transportation. And because we had a private room I could visit my wife at anytime.

My wife and I had a private room and found the experience very helpful in our transition to parenthood.
There was a mixed bag when it came to the staff in regards to their approach and advice. The handover between midwives made it hard to get consistent advice as each had their own opinions, sensitivities and personal approaches. We found some were short and abrupt and others to be very empathic and caring. Robin was one of the latter and she is highly recommended.
Also found there were times where the staff did seem stretched which may have impacted their ability to spend time addressing questions, concerns, and provided guidance.

I stayed with them for my post natal care & was taken care of very well. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

we had our private room. It's small though but had everything you need. Midwife came within 5 minutes if you rang and gave good advised especially breast feeding. Each midwife had their own skills to share how to feed baby..

I could not recommend Birthcare more! All new mothers (and fathers) should absolutely come here. It’s like a 3 day parenting 101 course amazing midwifes and meals delivered directly to your room. It made our first few days of parenthood so easy

I would recommend any new parent to be to go to Birthcare to receive some support with understanding your baby’s needs. At Birthcare we felt supported by a highly skilled team that is available to help you at any time of the day. Push the button, even in the middle of the night and one of the lovely midwifes will come to assist you with a smile. If you're lucky you end up in a free shared room by yourself. If not, you can always upgrade to a private suite.
I would also recommend the physiotherapy session that they run for free. We got provided with important pelvic floor and abdominal exercises and the facilitator was able to do a quick body check accompanied with advise for recovery.

We had an amazing 2 nights in Birthcare. All of the midwives are caring, professional and helpful. To make the most of your stay, don’t be afraid to call them in for every latch, nappy change or anything else you need. It was such a nice way to ease into motherhood, having 24/7 advice and food. All you have to worry about it healing your body and learning about your baby. The food is great, and I also recommend going to the classes. Make the most of your time there as for us it made us so much more confident going home.

If you can afford to get a room on your own, it's fantastic. it's a shame though that a mother does have to pay almost a thousand dollars for two nights where she feels cared for, guided and supported on what can be some of the most terrifying nights of her life. Its a great experience though. Good food, great 24/7 care.

Midwives here are extremely talented and caring, we felt like we were being looked after by our mother. Most recommended if you are a first time parents.

We had a son with a straightforward (no complications) delivery born in the maternity birthing unit of Auckland Hospital, and mother and child were then moved to the Birthcare center for the first 24 hours, and then went home.
Not only were the midwife and the maternity/delivery facility at Auckland Hospital excellent, but also the Birthcare center was excellent and with a high standard of care.
Highly recommended.

Midwife named Anne is the best. However, more support is needed for first time mums.i feel midwives need to be more supportive and provide information and more support to first timers.

Nice facilities for pre and post natal care. Very highly experienced midwives. The best thing is the personalised attention which one gets in the stay here. The rooms are nice and cosy. A variety of meals are available and are freshly prepared always. The doctors and the consultants are very highly capable and considerate too. Very highly recommended and completely worth the stay there. The location is very convenient and ample parking is available.

A brilliant service. I visited my great nephew who, along with his parents, was receiving excellent care.

High quality facility and first grade care. There are some birthing suites available but your birthing options are more limited than across the park at Auckland hospital. If complications arise while at birthcare you may find yourself whisked off to the hospital.
