These vets rock!! Very knowledgeable and caring. Chris knows his stuff especially with birds like our Lorikeet a very aptly named Houdini

Magnificent to deal with. Went looking for a vet clinic that used Nobivac to enable earlier socialisation (faster inoculation schedule) - the nurse on the phone was knowledgeable and accomodating. The vet we saw today (Kavitha) was brilliant with the pup, generous with her time and the care for my animal was very evident. Service was great - despite the practice being busy I had no sense of being rushed. Definitely recommend

I really like Normandy Road Vet. I use them as a backup clinic when my regular vet is too busy. However, I'd have no problems using them all the time. One thing especially about them is the advice they give on food and treats sold at their location. I like that they stock only quality products and can talk directly with distributers to order you something special if needed. I like the special care they take.

We took there our guinea pig because of some mites problems and KV, the doctor that visited her was absolutely amazing. She explained everything to us and was really nice with Pearl. Also the price was really really good. Thank you, such a great visit.

Chris is one of those rare finds - a fantastic intuitive vet who seems to be able to really listen to an animals needs. Being in Mt Eden we thought they might be expensive, but we have been pleasantly surprised to find Normanby Vets very reasonably priced. Our extended family’s three cats and three dogs all love him and his team (at other vets they don’t even want to go in the door). Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Been visiting Chris for nearly five years now. Super friendly and extremely competent. The vet nurses are also great, you can tell they adore animals. Even after moving across Auckland we still go out of our way to use Chris as our regular vet. Will not consider anyone else.

This is one of the best and most caring vets in Auckland, and his nurses are highly competent and very kind. We have three cats, and they are each cared for with affection by the staff. When they are unwell they are treated promptly and at a reasonable price. We couldn't be happier with the care and advice we have received for our cats.

Chis is competent and friendly. He truly cares about your pet's well-being and he is honest. His staff are super friendly and very nice to interact with as well. Well priced. I have pet rats and have been going to Chris for years, so if you have rats or any other pets I highly recommend him.

Just moved to Normanby Road Vet Clinic with my two fine bred Siamese, and was incredibly happy with the service, knowledge and care Chris & his team provided. I was also pleasantly surprised at the cost which I expected to be a lot more - a nice bonus. Most importantly, it was great to know that my kitty's were in safe hands getting the best care. I can certainly recommend Chris to anyone who is fussy about where they take their prize kitty's.

The team at Normandy Road Vet Clinic are compassionate, understanding and empathetic - to pets and their owners! As pet owners, we felt very relaxed and comfortable in their waiting room despite the fact our furry buddy was under the weather! The consultation, treatment and post-op explanation was personal but professional. Would ... and have... recommended the team at Normandy Road Vet Clinic to many of my friends. For us and our furry friends, they are second to none! PS: treatment/surgical costs are extremely reasonable compared to clinics I have been to in the past. 😊

Chris is one of those vets that listens and observes. A rare talent in vets these days. My elderly dog of 15 was well taken care of and the clinic staff were great each time we went in. He also helped with treating a rescue hedgehog giving me the right advice leading to its full recovery. Thanks to Chris and staff

Small but best of all personal. Vet on time. Clean bright and friendly. My cat jumped off the bench strolled around surgery and jumped back up. Impressed vet Dr Chris didn't bat an eyelid. Thorough check up and commonsense advice. Felt so comfortable have booked cat in to try Catmandu for 4 night break. Prices are standard. Convenient and competent thanks Heather

I have been going to Normamby road vet clinic for years. Cats, budgie and one very difficult little dog CHARLIE!!!!. Chris our Vet, always listens to your concerns, Careing, and empathy. Chris will always give you options, for you to consider, and will always there to give you support, when times when you are having trying times. I highly recommend this clinic. Excellent experienced care, swift diagnosis and treatment. Most impressed after other vets failed for three months. So pleased we came to Normanby Rd Vet Clinic and I have no hesitancy recommending Chris and his team.

There is a reason we travel all the way from the North Shore to see Dr Chris and to stay at catmandu. He is excellent with our cat and I trust his sound advice on how best to take care of her and I know she is safe and well cared for when we are away from home. Highly recommend this place.

Switched to Dr Chris after years with another inner city vet and I'm really impressed with his knowledge and his bedside manner withs animals. My cat (a 16-year-old Burmese) is usually stressed at the vet, but she likes Dr Chris - even settled down on his exam table and looked contented. I like how he can take a blood sample without shaving fur. It's great also that I can drop my cat into Dr Chris when she needs a cattery stay - he takes her home to his Whenuapai cattery; brings her back into the city at the end of her stay too.

Chester & I had a great visit with Dr Chris today. Chester's allergies and itching have cleared up brilliantly since our first visit a month ago. I really felt I was listened to and Dr Chris' comments cleared up a lot of confusion I had about what was causing Chester's terrible itching. He is really happy on his new food & treatment regime and so am I! I also thought the costs were really reasonable.

Very happy with this vet. My Burmese cats who hate going to the vet were much more comfortable here than other vet practices we’ve been to. My cats had a thorough examination & my questions/concerns were all addressed.
