I would just like to thank the team in day surgery on their professional services. I had a colonoscopy performed by Dr Jason Hill and after an experience 20 years ago was terrified to have this procedure. It was a breeze Dr Hill spoke and showed me the examination was so very gentle and caring I cannot praise him enough, look forward to seeing him again in 5 years. Kaitaia Hospital is doing an amazing job. Please keep day surgery up here in the Far North.

This is a great little hospital. My experience is with Day Surgery and the care received was great. Each professional took a lot of time to explain what was happening before and after the procedure and the specialist was super qualified. Everyone I encountered was kind.I was pretty hesitant about having to go all the way to Kaitaia as my local would normally be Whangarei but I'd happily do it again as there you most likely get a specialist rather than a technician.

The image of shiny halls and corridors and friendly staff of the Kaitaia Hospital, unfortunately, do not make up for the overflowing rubbish receptacle at the front entrance or the empty hand gel pump bottles that greeted patients and visitors to the hospital this weekend. Whether this is what its always like or if it is a one-off, it is not acceptable that this is to be found when first entering the establishment. Speak up Kaitaia because this is an impression that visitors to your hospital will take away with them!!!

This is more of a review for the Cafe: Absolutely fantastic cafe!, with amazing food, fantastic customer service, and a gorgeous maori girl with long black hair that was our waitress 😝 all in all highly impressed
