C.Brand new pools and spas were immaculate. Pity they shut the pools at 9pm over summer when the sun is still up and it was plenty warm enough to keep swimming.
Also there's not a single cup spoon plate etc in the kitchens even to just get a cup of water. Clean facilities all round. $72 for a tent site for 3 people and a dog. We'll be back :)
N.Perfectly adequate site, with a range of facilities. A few individual shower/toilet rooms. Some may have been shut but seemed rather few for a camp of this size. However they were very clean and tidy and the hot water was plentiful. The powered sites adjacent to the park are shady and quite pleasant, and a little further away from the train line. Relatively quiet given location. The rest of the site is a bit utilitarian, but overall it is fine although top of the price range. Park next door is pleasant for a short stroll and dogs are apparently allowed of leash in this area.
The dog policy is emphasized when you arrive, and you have to sign a 'behavior' agreement and the conditions are perfectly reasonable. But would like to have seen the policy enforced if management make such a big deal of it when you arrive....there was a dog that was unrestrained, and wandered consistently during the time we were there. Didn't cause us any problems, but that's not the point!
C.Lovely park. Good sites. Very clean and modern facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Warm pool. Is located between a semi busy road and railway line. Only one train a day when we were there. Close enough to Town to walk.

However while dogs are allowed, I was alarmed when a person walking 2 dogs told me to stand still or her dog may bite me. I was horrified to think that she was allowed to have her dogs off a leash when it could possibly bite, especially if there are children present. I confronted her about this and her closing comment was, shut up
S.Stay there 2 night during Christmas. Generally everything is better than expected. Tiny room is clean and bright, has everything you need. Clean towels, hot shower with good water pressure, water boiler, tea, coffee, fan, dinning table, cuttlery, TV. Nice small balcony with coffee table and chairs to enjoy the sun. Car can be parked right outside room. Walking distance to restaurants. The reception guy is very friendly, recommended us a few places for sight seeing.
t.Very nice holiday park with swimming pool. Self contained cabin was clean and fantastic shower presure. Our kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for our dog to go walking with a lake nearby. Great communication from the moment we checked in with information provided about the local sights. Definitely a great place to stay
T.Its nice place and allows dogs which is great, the only downside its very noisy outside all night with road and trains passing so earplugs are useful. There wasnt any cutlery so suggest bringing your own. Spas and pools are really nice.
M.Nice location and tidy accommodation. Main Bed was not raised high enough for hoist to go under for wheelchair access to n from. Suggest room be modified for all wheelchair users to include being able to sleep in both beds available.
N.We stayed overnight in one of the ensuite units. The unit was clean and well stocked with cutlery, plates etc. Beds were comfy very clean and warm. Great heater in room. The only downside is the location as it is an industrial area so very noisey as businesses start early and the trucks use the back road to bypass Town centre so rumble down the road all night long. The actual lodging is great value for money
C.Had to travel for hospital appointment during lockdown. Kiwi Holiday Park had a great studio for mobility impaired. Close to where we needed to go. Super friendly, very clean warm room. Would recommend. Thank you for letting us stay :)
J.Small campground but nice and sufficient for a couple of days. Friendly staff. They actually have a 24-hour gym with some pretty decent equipment which you can use as long as you stay for a one-time fee of $5.
A.Units are good, however our bed was really hard. Great heater. Just a kettle for making a drink, otherwise you need to use the kitchen for cooking.
R.We booked at short notice and being the holidays, it was risky.
However, Billie was very accommodating and had a room for 4 adults for ONE night.
The place was prestine and comfortable, perfect for us.
Kelvin recommended where to have dinner as we checked in early evening.
He also suggested a place to see glow worms before our Waitomo experience, for FREE.
I would have tried the heated pool but we were time poor. I tested the water temperature and it was pleasant.
We were off to Waitomo so this stay was only 15kms away.
The surrounding businesses like Countdown, Caltex and the Thirsty Weta were fantastic. Friendly and helpful Staff everywhere.
I gave 4 stars because we had limited time.

C.Am impressed. Unit has air conditioning and one of the best showers I have ever had! . Camp is spread over Huge area . Great atmosphere too. So pleased owners are not jamming everyone in. Way cool.
D.Stayed in the basic cabin. Was pretty much what we needed as was well suited. Amenities were okay, but a bit basic. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your own kitchen wear and mess kit as there is nothing here. Otherwise an okay place to stay a couple of nights.
D.Great facilities, cosy clean and lovely cabin. We heard no traffic or train noise at night, slept like babies. Friendly staff. What more can you ask for. Hidden gem. Highly recommend!
A.This Holiday Park is situated between a railway and a busy road. If you want to camp and rest, look for another spot. If you do not care about the noise of trains during the night, you can enjoy the good facilities and the pool. The last one was very welcome during the hot days.
R.recently stay for 3 nights in our caravan, nice camp good facility's. all to be ruined by one of your full time residents who happens to drive a rubbish truck! Appears to take great pleasure in starting it up at 5am and turning all the flashing lights on then going into his caravan to finish his breakfast or some thing!!! before slowly very slowly leaving he camp. ruins any positives we have of the camp.
F.A real treat for our group. Really clean, fresh and service-minded personell. Extra plus for a large shower, single bathroom fauncet and stiffer beds. Only drawback is that there is some heavy traffic nearby - but nothing really bad. Thank you!
G.Pool facilities are REALLY nice. Warm pool and nice hot tubs. Rest of park is a bit more dated though looks like they are working on updating.

Y.Nice cabin, very close to amenities. The only downside: too close to the highway. You can feel the room vibrating whenever a vehicle passes by. And there are a lot of them.

A.This is nice clean place. I like the swimming pool has no chemical smell. But kitchen facilities are not enough to use. And couldn't sleep well because long trains passing next to camp site several times middle of the night.

O.(Translated) Very good. You can live in a small single-bedroom villa for more than two hundred yuan (actually a bit like a container 😂, but it looks very cute). There is a public bath and kitchen opposite. Quite comfortable, quite convenient.

非常棒。花兩百多人民幣就可以住上單間的小獨立別墅（其實有點像集裝箱😂，不過樣子很可愛喔）。有公共浴室和廚房，在對面。還挺舒服的，蠻方便的。
T.(Translated) Worth a stop before you drive over to the waitomo caves, about 16 km away from here. The pitches have electricity and water. You can also dispose of your rubbish and old water here without any problems. If you want you can simmer your steak in the communal kitchen or use the free BBQ. There are several individual wc / shower cubicles. These are so to speak 2in1 compact. But really clean! If you need you can steel your body in gym 24/7 for $ 5 ..... amazingly, the machines are relatively new and from the Matrix / Technogym company ..... very noteworthy! You also have several options to sit in the cute picnic areas on the premises.
All in all great!
The only catch ... 48 $ per night with electricity.

Einen Stop wert bevor du rüber fährst zu den waitomo caves, von hier ca. 16 km entfernt. Die Stellplätze sind mit Strom und Wasser. Dein Müll und alt Wasser kannst du hier auch ohne Probleme entsorgen. Wenn du möchtest kannst du dir hier dein Steak in der Gemeinschaftsküche bruzzeln oder den freie BBQ nutzen. Es gibt mehrere einzelne wc/dusch Kabinen. Diese sind sozusagen 2in1 kompakt. Aber echt sauber! Wenn du bedarf hast kannst du für 5$ dein Körper in gym stählen 24/7.....erstaunlicher weise sind die Geräte relativ jung und von der Firma Matrix/Technogym.....sehr beachtenswert! Du hast auf dem Gelände auch mehrere Möglichkeiten zu sitzen auf den süssen Picknick Plätzen.
Alles in allem top!!!
