A school holiday program trip, the kids LOVED it, I loved it. Lights on tour. Used my ghost tube app and caught something, brilliant!! Our favourite actor (Camille) wasn't there that day but Junior took us on a lovely tour of horror. Brilliant place. Owner is the loveliest lady and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for a great day out!!!

I only went as it was part of a corporate event but loved it though half I didn't remember the actors faces as enjoyed the wine and cheese platter too much in between sessions. Not sure if his name was Berney but he was a fab host he even shared his scary voices talent with us and very entertaining and courteous. We all had fun. The 4D glasses didn't work for me as I was wearing graded contacts. Some of us flew from Wellington some from Christchurch for this.

14th birthday celebration. Definitely a fun night for the young lads who were all quite fast while running through "The Woods". The problem with the boys running so fast, was that they got to the end real quick...and probably set a new running scared through the woods record!

Cool experience. Go with people that get scared easily, otherwise won't be that much fun.

They have three attractions to go to. The Haunted forest, Disturbia and the haunted house. We started with the forest and it requires a flashlight (a phone light isn't good enough but you can buy one at the counter for $10). The atmosphere was quite spooky and you could hear sporadic screaming. The path was quite good and fairly easy to navigate even with only 1 torch. Keep your eyes open cause they always pop out of nowhere. We went to the house afterwards since the entrance was by the exit of the haunted house. Nice props but most of them were the same as before although the people were different and where they popped up were also different so there were a few jumps there. The last one was disturbia. The entry is across the hall from the entrance. you wear 3D glasses and the paintings all pop out at you. It was quite an interesting experience walking through wall paintings that seem to pop out, as well as a few people every now and then. i thought that the paintings were really good and spent a while mesmerised at them. There are a few flashing lights which may be problematic for epileptics. I thought the end bit of this was the best! We also were able to go into a dark container filled with air bags at the end of this. The info they gave at the attractions were similar but they had quite good variations so it kept you interested. There were also a few friendly zombies/ghosts roaming around that were friendly enough to chat to. Been here a few time and it is always better/more entertaining to go with people who get a bit scared (but not too much or it has the opposite effect).

Love the attraction definently worth the visit. Souvenirs are a bit expensive to be honest. If you want to scare your friend this is the place to go.

Great experience of being scared, great customer service, and excellent food, esp the pizzas. Great place to conquer your feeling of fear. We have a great time as a family. Totally recommended to anyone.

Had a great time ! Staff were friendly and often frightening. The best attraction for me personally was the haunted house, closely followed by the woods. I would reccomend that the fog has an update. But it's the perfect place to hang out with your mates !

My first time at spookers tonight and I had a blast also was very spooked CornEvil is so super freaky I was scared as f#$& The Haunted house is spooky and awesome and The Fog scary, quick and exhilarating and Disturbia was trippy, fun and scary at the same time. All the staff were awesome aswell.

I had an Amazing and wonderful experience there. I went there years ago, it’s been a while now. Me and my friends Crew absolutely Love it, the Amazing great Maze, House of Horrors, Out of Zone Factory horror house, Cemetery / undead and Zipper Face and Freddy” was exceptionally great. Also enjoyed Maternity Baby hospital and Mental Asylum and Burns Unit . Their food, snacks and refreshments Bar was great too. It was a great, loads of fun and memorable Night. We had shared lots of laughs, freights and scare shouts. Even the Dark uncanny road leading to Spookers and Parking holds its own suspense and Horrors and give chills. At one point some of us started pushing each other forward to be able to get Less Frantic. Hope to see the same amount of quality and Experience Next time around! Keep up the good work! 🤩😎😜👍🏼

It was awesome went as a group of 4 with the boys and we all loved it, getting chased around. The fog ride was a bit short but was pretty cool with the lights. Everything else had us changing undies 😂will definitely go again.

Took my 13 and 14 year old boys along to spookers on a Saturday evening, the 13 yr old wanted to sit in the car and not go in, but when persuaded he loved it, in fact we all did. Well worth the money, the props and actors were fabulous. My boys especially liked Nugget and Nigel. Would love to visit again ASAP.

Absolutely awesome experience tonight. Everything from start to finish was brilliant and wonderfully terrifying. The actors were superb, the make up fantastic and the special effects were jaw dropping. We did all four experiences and loved every minute of screaming and being scared half to death. Well done Spookers- we'll be back.

It was absolutely worth the prize we had loads of fun! Just keep in mind that you don’t forget a flashlight because you need it for “the woods” attraction. If you don’t have one and still want to enjoy this attraction you need to buy a flashlight for 12 bucks. I recommend buying the pass for all attractions + group photo it’s worth the prize and you don’t want to miss an attraction trust me they are all great!

Scene layout and props design are very thoughtful, it is happy to feel the terror of the atmosphere 😏

If you enjoy a racing heartbeat and not knowing who’s following you, then Spookers is the place. We really enjoyed the forest and the haunted house. Don’t rush through, take your time to take it all in (if you dare).

Tried the maze in the afternoon and it was fun. Will come next time at night to try the scary 🤔

Covid restrictions probably watered down the experience, but still worth doing.

Great place, good jump scares. Woods and haunted house are great if youre never been totally recommend. Fog and Disturbia are okay! but for 45 bucks you get to go to all attractions plus a photo totally recommend. Great place would go again if more attractions open. So much fun with friends!!!! 10/10

Absolutley worth it! Fog guy, great!👌 girl with bat and f'd eyes, I hope we never meet again! 😭😂 Everything and everybody just 👏👏👏 Even the drive up built the suspense! 11/10 would recommend.

Haunted house and the forest was very cool. Not scary, but cool if you haven’t been before. Definitely won’t go again , not worth the price or the drive. It’s more like a one time thing .

Great place! One of the best haunted attractions I've been to. It's got some amazing attraction with great set designs, and it's not just jump scares! I've also got to mention the make up artists for the monsters because they did an amazing job!

Had a great time, they got me a few times! The staff work hard and a lot of effort is put in to the entertainment.

Awesome fun! We took our 4 kids 8-12 yrs they loved it, the actor giving us the tour was fantastic and the adults got a few frights too! Would definitely do it again.

Amazing place!! Exceeded expectations. 4 different really cool areas to explore, each one just as terrifying as the one before! I'm not easily scared, but I was running and screaming at times! Big ups to the makeup artists, so talented. The actors kept the flow well organized while staying in brilliant character. Set design and props are fantastic. The carpark guy was lovely to chat to also. Don't be put off by a short drive to this, it is truly worth it. Can't wait to visit again!

Spookers was great!! I have been 3 times now.. Went last night and it was probably the best one yet!! Actors were amazing.. Got soo many frights!

Not bad but was better years ago. Less actors now. Generally enjoyable. Hope they upgrade it. Felt rushed to move along when trying to check out rooms.

Like most attractions the cost is relatively high and the wait times tend to be long. However spookers is somewhere this is justified and well made up for. The actors are amazing both in costume and skill. The tension is built from the moment you arrive, I recommend getting a pass that allows you to visit every attraction as they all feature a different scary experience. Best in groups of people you are close with. Absolutely worth every bit of time and money. The most scary experience I have had both times I have gone. Absolutely worth going

Went to the Amazing Maze for Easter. Wasn't a lot of eggs but understandable as there were just so very many people there.

Took the family to the attraction and what an awesome activity, if they can handle the horror. Tried it 13 years ago and it was great then too. If your bladder can't handle frights lol I recommend spare undies 😂

I went to spookers last night (9th oct) and it was awesome. The actors did amazing. Haunted house and the woods had scare after scare. My Mrs was running scared the whole night. Thrilling attraction we both enjoyed!

Really enjoyed our time at spookers. Planned a birthday party for our 13 year old, great hospitality and food, fun and scares along the way! Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved it in the first section wearing 3d glasses, downside you have to pay $12 for a torch to enter the woods.

What an experience! I thought I wasn't going to be scared, but wow, the actors are so realistic they made me run away screaming. Definitely worth a visit. My favourite was the haunted house. Get there early if you want to avoid ques.

Great fun for teenagers and good value. Some good scares...Nice touch getting a free photo at the end rather than having to pay extra..

Felt rushed with times as from 8-10pm , good to take your time but best to get there early. wear something light and when going into the haunted house as it gets really hot and stuffy. Great fun just dont be a d*** head towards actors

Been here 4 times. Today was the first day tour and it's was awesome. The effort the staff put in is above and beyond. To be in character over and over again must be demanding. Hope they are getting looked after well. Def visit this place , put your fears aside enjoy your time .

Going to spookers as part of a work function was an amazing idea, it's a great place for us to unwind after stressful months at work; getting the package that provided us with access to all 3 major attractions along with the buffet dinner was really nice. The buffet dinner, a personal highlight had amazing food and one of the best buffets I have ever had. The attractions themselves were extremely authentic with the ex-asylum building it resides in. The corn maze was a personal highlight as it was the scariest, even though I am highly tolerant to scares I still enjoyed my time there with my friends and I would recommend this place to others.

ABSOLUTE FUN! I would have given it 5 but the attraction seemed a little "dead" 😐 *budum dum tiss* It was because I went in January, so the Corn Evil wasnt open and there weren't a lot of actors... BUT its was still really great! I'd still recommend you go 😆

It's one and only such haunted attraction in New Zealand. They have several track or space each having various stages of horror involved. Everyone enjoyed the horror thrills. The costume and special effects are quite good. Opens at 8pm and closes within 11pm. Plenty of parking and wear something comfortable as you will be running from the chainsaw and mental patients.

We booked a working event with Spookers around February this year and it was such a major success. Jess was so helpful in getting the event set up for us. The buffet food they provides was delicious and our social club members had a blast! Would highly recommend this place for family or work events.

Wicked place to com in a group or just a couple of you. NOT for the feint hearted at all but it's perfectly safe. Complete with a restaurant/bar and cafe I believe and a souvenir store. Fun, scary and always changing and adapting! No two visits are the same.

5 star experience and would like to thank Shakes for making my daughter's birthday even more memorable! Great pizza at the Cafe. Highly recommend this attraction.

This is a very unique place. The actors were fantastic. Their voices and makeup and hiding spots legitimately scared me. I recommend going with as small a group as possible for maximum fright. However, it was not as good as I thought it might be. Is it worth the 50 minute drive from the city? Yes, but only at half price. Definitely come here though, as there aren't many other places like it.

The experience was great and the actors amazing We got all dressed up for Halloween but was asked to remove allot of our makeup and props due to health and safety. So make sure not to dress up just plain clothing.

Absolutely BRILLIANT, Well done to all involved well worth every cent spent...will do it again for sure.....

Awesome night out if you're wanting to do something a little different to a movie night. Good as for big and small groups. Staff are super friendly when they aren't trying to jump out at you.

Great acting, amazing costumes and set up, we had lots of fun, I can't say I got scared at any point but we all had a blast :) I like the monster in the forest with his 'do up', we joked the whole way about how impressed we were that he could save for a deposit for a house in Auckland :-D :-D His family were killed by his mortgage! hehe

Covid killed this place. I have worked at haunted events. Contact makes it much more fun for everyone. Still, a decent place for teens and tweens.

Spookers was a let down this time. I've been several times over the past ten years and used to love it. There weren't many actors on the night that my friend and I went and we felt very rushed when we were going through the house despite the fact that there weren't a lot of customers. Three stars because it was free admission that night.

Brilliant! Money spent was so worth it. Enjoyed every second! Got the $90 package and so glad I did. I love every character and waiter I saw tonight. Got much more than what I expected.

I've been here three times over the past three years. My favourite will always be the Haunted House, the classic spOokers attraction, it's the only one I've fallen over in. Disturbia is decent, I loved the corn maize, kinda similar to the forest one though, so I would recommend an inside and outside one for the best value, and range of experience. Heads up - bring a torch, or you ha e to buy one for the outside courses, compulsory for entry. (Not your phone torch, no video or photos allowed inside the attractions). Cafe actually had decent food, and fun memorabilia and joke gifts (they DO sell adult diapers, so that's fun). Service at the cafe was very slow, but only one person was manning it when ever I was there. $40 for two attractions.

Awesome adventure. But could have got spookier. It was still great. A lot of effort taken by the staff. Keep it up guys.. Must try the haunted house .. you'll like it the most

As a middle aged father of teenagers and infants who believes he has a sensible and practical outlook on reality, I was thoroughly entertained and frightened by this amazing spectacle. I chaperoned my teenage daughter and her male friend with a stern outlook on what to look for. From walking through the doors I became excited. by the end my teenage girls male friend and I were huddled together protecting each other from the frights that made me cry and laugh out loud. I was a young frightened boy again and loved it. Well done Spookers your set up and team have done an amazing job to thrill and entertain.

That was so much fun! I'm sure the experience is best with an entertaining group of friends, but it stands on its own merits as well. Cornevil Maze was the most fun, the Haunted House was everything you'd expect and more. Definitely coming back!

I really enjoyed it. Some of my friends thought it was boring but I had a blast. The staff stay in character really well and the make-up/face paint is done well also.

The price is definitely worth it-it's actually terrifying! Recommend doing a combination of activities rather than just one. However, if you were to pick one I would suggest the corn maze over the haunted house.

Amazing at times but it sucks that they only really put effort in on special holidays like Halloween, there's usually only have bad actors on with horrible costumes. So don't waste your money unless you just want to experience it and that's all, best to wait for halloween

Fantastic sets, too bad I was too terrified to really appreciate them ha. They need to space groups out more, though; we often had to stop to allow the actors to get back into position, which dampened the immersion.

Had a spooktacular time here with family and friends. Even though you know you are safe you can't help but get a fright!

Freaky forest wasn't the greatest, but the haunted house provides a bit more of a freak factor, especially the areas that are pitch dark! A bit of a commute out of town, but the open road and haunting entrance, really adds to the experience of the whole attraction.

Definitely scary, got too much for my partner so had to leave half way through. Definitely worth going though as long as you can handle a little bit of spookiness

Took the kids on a day trip and they toned down the scary stuff perfectly and the hole family had a blast would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of having a look thank you

Nice experience with friends. Worth going at least once. Had never experienced any thing like before. Gets a bit scary when they run after you yelling at you. But they are all well behaved.

We went to the Corn Maze and had a blast, got lost in the field but eventually got out. Kids loved it. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was nice to get lost for a bit.

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT BESIDES THE PICTURE AREA.. THEY WERE A BIT CROWDED && THE LADY BEHIND THE COUNTER LOOKED FRUSTRATED && CAME OFF RUDE.. ALL THE ACTORS, ZOMBIES && MONSTERS DID A GOOD JOB BESIDES THE RUDE GIRL FROM THE HAUNTED HOUSE IN THE NURSERY. SHE JUST SAT THERE LOOKING REAL LIFE MISERABLE AND EVEN HAD SLICK COMMENTS TO THE CUSTOMERS WALKING BY. DAISY && HER FATHER/HUSBAND WERE THE BEST FROM THE FOREST.

Ahh Spookers. I Was An Inmate at Kingseat Mental Hospital Early December 1994. I Ascended to Heaven Here. Satan was involved in murdering me. Spent 20 years Above, My Soul Time Traveled Back To Just After I Died So The Nurses Didn't Know I Died. I Was A Witness To Creation Herself. Fun Times Time Spirit Travel. Thank You Grandfather Lord. Never Been Inside Spookers lolz it's just Holy Ground For Moi.

We went to the Easter labyrinth, the truth, it is a recommendable experience, they are very kind, right now the corn was dry, I imagine that it must be very impressive when it is all green, it is very broad.

Cool place just dont go during events as it's too busy. I timed our first attraction and we waited 1 hour before going in during black friday.

A fun attraction for all. Main attractions are R18 and a 'taste of terror' available for the younger members of the family. Check out the website for the seasonal outdoor activity.

“Spookers - A must see/join in time - not for the faint hearted - it's a SCREAM ...” ...for the cost of a couple of trips to the movies you get to BE in your own worst nightmare ... this venue ( old mental institute ) on the outskirts of Auckland is the perfect setting for a night filled with laughter, fun, shocks and screams! If it's your birthday - even better - the 'Birthday Boo' consists of wearing a flouro high visibility jacket and becoming the automatic flame to the moths of ghouls, walking dead, crazy clowns and any other creepy/mad and scary character you can think of!!! R 16 if you visit at night says it all, you need to remember these guys mean business, it is their job to attempt to make even the strongest hearted tough-man/woman pee their pants and scream like schoolgirl. They stay in character and really do it well, although in saying that they know some of us have boundaries to how much we can take and they back off at a raised hand and a stop command- the professionalism shown at this venue by the actors and actresses, the security, everyone right down to the helpers in the car park ensuring safe parking is second to none - they could not be faulted. If you get there and decide that this is all a little too 'real' for your liking the staff go out of their way to ensure you test yourself to your limits, as long as you remain comfortable and they respect the fact that if/when you need 'out' you get it, no questions, no taunting, teasing or disrespect... we took a party of young ladies in for a 17th 'birthday boo' party, 3 were fine but 2 struggled to be comfortable with the fantastic props, make up, costumes and actors/actresses and the realistic job they do ... the girls were taken to a quiet area and spoken to about what to expect, a security staff member even accompanied them through areas and helped them to be brave and face their fears - all staff on scenes respected their unease and allowed them to join in but at a distance they were comfortable with and those young ladies had a great time - coming away feeling like they had really accomplished something... being able to laugh and reminisce with their other friends and the birthday girl. The cafe area has great food, coffee, a gifts/merchandise area and allows a central meeting point between attractions - there are several to do/choose from and you can do one or two or really go for the ultimate 'scream time' and visit everywhere from Claustraphobia, Disturbia, Haunted House to the Freaky Forest outside at night ( and if the season is right there's 'Cornevil' - a cornfield filled with more evil then you could ever imagine and all in the dark! ). If you want a reminder of your evening ( apart from the soiled pants ! ) then get a photo taken with one or two of the characters that shared your evening and for a small price take that home to pin above your bed and continue the nightmare .... WELL WORTH A VISIT WITH FRIENDS .... or perhaps even your enemies!!! Enjoy ( don't forget to have a spare pair of underpants in the car for the ride home! ) :o)

Been twice now and I love this place...first time was the best but I'll still come back a third and a fourth time lol...oh, and can't forget the pizza it is yummmmmmmy!!! To be honest I've never really tasted good pizza till I tasted spookers pizza...loved it! You guys rock!

Not as great as it used to be. Waited 2.5 hours in queue for 2 attractions which only lasted 25mins tops
