My first ever visit here was not pleasant, so I expected my second to go just as badly - but it was the complete opposite! Waiting times were a little long but all the nurses and doctors during my stay were so sweet, friendly, and caring (Dr Wendy and nurse Naomi especially). Thank you so much!

After spending time in Queenstown hospital with kidney infection and kidney stone, investigation the services and treatment were amazing, the staff was always on hand and attentive, keeping well up with medications etc.,.

A huge thanks to all the wonderful staff who cared for me when I was sick last week. Outstanding service, tests arranged and carried out efficiently. I was on a visit from Wellington and came home with great stories about my unexpected side trip. Many thanks again. Cheers!

Amazing service, staff helpful & friendly. Could not speak highly enough. My husband was seen very quickly & treatment started right away! What a difference from U.K. James (doctor) & Annie (nurse) were amazing! Would recommend this hospital! Thank you all for care.

We were on holidays at Queenstown and unfortunatelly, we had to go to Lakes District Hospital for a bad infection. Let me tell you that the medical team is wonderful, highly qualified and compassionate. We received a very good care and a lot of moral support. Keep going guys, you are amazing!

Absolutely superb hospital!! Lovely nurses in particular one named Rosemary. But overall they were all very kind and professional. They took care of me very well and made me smile when I needed it.

Brilliant doctors and nurses, felt like I was in safe and caring hands the entire time! Kathryn and Tony in particular were great at making me feel at home

A great wee hospital with an amazing team. We are very lucky in Queenstown and I am sure anyone who has received medical attention from the LDH will agree. It is the best.

This wonderful hospital deserves a 5 star rating because the care and attention I have received there recently and in the past has been that good , From the Cheerful friendly professional Nurses Doctors Cleaning and cooking teams to the reception , thankyou. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to try and help you. Very clean ceilings and bedding. Would definitely stay again!

Even though I didn’t end up being treated at the hospital the staff were very nice and friendly. They phoned up the medical centre in town to check if I would get seen to if I went there
