S.Went in Friday night with sudden onset migraine and everyone from the receptionist the nurses doctor and mike doing covid info outside were absolutely amazing. Their care was impeccable....I left feeling very well cared for. In these tough times they were professional but also just humans looking after humans....thankyou very very much xx

M.The nurses and doctors were fantastic for my visit here today, however i think it's about time that Taupo Hospital didn't just upgrade the building, but amount of actual doctors and nurses too. The building industry is creating more property in the region.... but come on upgrade the hospital to accommodate the amount of new patients moving into town as well. Like it or not Taupo is expanding with the amount of people here, it's about time the hospital upgrade in order to accommodate
L.My toddler was recently taken to the Emergency department at Taupo hospital. The staff were wonderful and took such great care of us . Thank you for your help in such a stressful situation
G.Checked Radiology opening hours on Lakes district and was there at 8am only to be told it was open 8:30am you may like to correct the times on your website. We were directed by a staff member to go to Xray but when we returned Xray told us another story, The waiting time seemed excessive 2hrs but we were told there is just one Doctor on until lunchtime i requested pain relief and was not given any because the nurses were busy, while i appreciate this it was not comfortable waiting in the stuffy waiting room for hours. The waiting room was empty 90% of the time and this concerns me because 1 doctor in ED for Taupo and our experience says this hospital is understaffed.
o.Taupo is so beautiful city in Nz retired people
wish to live here but unfortunately hospital is not big enough for elderly people .I hope health Minister consider .
s.Good stuff, helpful, and kind. Like all hospitals, the food needs some work, and the buildings are getting better, but still need some work. Overall, good place to be in.
B.Maternity is Taupo hospital is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful quiet rooms and the staff are top notch.
