Airedale Boutique Suites is a beautifully located place in Auckland. We stayed one night on one weekend, had the best facilities for most we didnt use however still glad that it was available. We had views of the sky tower and it felt so quiet even despite being in such a busy city. From check in to check out was a breeze. Big shout out to their best staff Paris that accommodated to all our needs. Communication was kept all through out. The rooms felt personalized yet kept to their professional theme. Just one thing to think about before booking is parking. They offer valet parking for $45 but can save a little money by going to Civic Parking around the corner for around $12-24 per night (depending how long you stay). Great service!

Stayed for work 2 nights an it was great stay! Service great. Staff well mannered and most importantly the rooms are clean and really spacious. Will definitely be back!

My partner and I shared our second anniversary together at the Airedale Boutique Suites. We were trying to find a hotel last minute and happed to come across them. We were so impressed with their service. I had a special request, which they executed well. The place was so beautiful. It was definitely worth the money. Usually I would go for hotels ranged at $125 - $175. But paying an extra $180 or so really showed the difference in hospitality. The bench mark was set high. However, parking was a little bit difficult. We were not sure where to go. But never the less, it was all sorted with the valet. We didn’t get charged $45 for parking. This was because on the night before, there were some noise issues with other people staying down the hall. So the hotel did not charge us. Overall, my partner and I are definitely coming here more often. Thank you Airedale!

Great place to stay - surprisingly quiet given the location. Comfy, well appointed rooms. Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast the next day and the banter from the restaurant staff.

The staff are fantastic, the room was warm and comfortable with stylish decor, and the meals delicious. We received a room upgrade, at no extra cost, to one that was easier for the wheelchair. Nothing was too much and all done in the friendliest of manner. Marvellous.

Excellent customer service from the moment I arrived and departed. The hotel’s location is super convenient - being in Auckland CBD. Hotel room facilities are great quality, tidy and functional. Managed to have a room with a view of the Sky Tower (awesome!). Price for food in the restaurant is affordable and the quality was great. Would highly recommend.

It was very clean, nicely decorated and very tidy. I have stayed there for my wedding anniversary for the last two years since I discovered it. Each time it’s a delightful experience. The staff are very professional, helpful and polite. I would highly recommend it.

I have been coming here for years and thought the hotel was excellent. Since the renovations have been completed, the hotel has stepped up it's game once again! The rooms are so comfortable and the beds are amazing. Great staff too. Definitely booking here on my next trip! Thank you Airedale team!

Easy to find location. Clean rooms. Under 3 mins walking distance to shopping and food locations. Checked in for the weekend and was expecting heaps of noise being in town but it was SO quiet. On both mornings (8:30 am?) I could hear some ruffling noises next door, I guess it was because we were next door to the storage cupboard and staff was getting stuff. Grabbed a coffee at the cafe when checking out and was pretty good. Comfortable environment. They were happy when we requested for our luggage to be stored at concierge while we did more shopping after checking out. My Partner and I agreed the TP was a little rough but other toiletries were good 😂 Overall I enjoy my staycation, will come back again in future.

Almost had it all until the Asian receptionist happened 😓 room was good and all the modern modcons you would expect. A nice comfortable bed too. And a good shout out to the hotel’s chef!!! Food was amazing!

Very clean and comfortable, lovely staff and very central location

Checking in and out was quick and easy. The people at the front desk were professional friendly and extremely helpful. The room I stayed in was fresh, modern and looked exactly as it did in the pictures. I stayed in the King Deluxe Suite, it had everything I needed and more. I loved the sound proof room, I couldn’t hear anything it was fantastic nice and quiet. It was clean and spotless. Loved the mini bar, toiletries in the bathroom were plentiful with the added bonus of having a few comforts for women’s needs. I have never experienced that at any other hotel which I thought was great. The lifts were fast I didn’t have to wait long at all as soon as I pushed the button in seconds the lift was there which surprised me. Everything I needed during my stay they had. Prior to going I had read reviews online and I thought I’d book with them and I’m glad I did i loved my stay here and wish I could’ve stayed longer. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. You’re right in the heart of the city it’s in a great location walking distance to shops, art gallery, Universities, theatres, restaurants and the bus stop for the airport is right outside the doors. Definitely recommend staying here.

We stay at the lovely Airedale Boutique Suites at least 4 times a year and it's always the same, just fantastic. The staff are always welcoming, helpful & friendly. The level of cleanliness & luxury is high. A seamless & easy stay everytime.

Hidden gen in central Aucland! Polite, friendly and respectful staff. Accommodation was excellent - I wonder if I got upgraded because the room I was in was gorgeous, clean and decor beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location ( half way between K Rd and the Wharf) . Unbelievably good breakfast - beautifully presented and top notch flavours and healthy even.

My stay was amazing, the room was lush and luxurious and double-glazing kept the street noise at bay. I'd definitely come back again and have already recommended to others. A wonderful surprise!

The rooms were lovely and well done on the renovations. Just a tip with regards to service, when I went to breakfast there was just myself and 10 minutes later my colleague in the dining room. The server asked me 3 times for my room number, and when he repeated my order back to me he had it wrong, perhaps some training would be beneficial on how staff can retain information. Also, when checking out the young woman asked for my room number which I provided then continued to ask me for details regarding payment, my booking was for work and everything was covered by my employer, I advised her of my mini bar purchases and she proceeded to use the EFTPOS machine and I advised her that my credit card was on the account. Again perhaps some training for staff regarding retention of informaiton etc. Otherwise it was a great stay.

My husband and I stayed here as part of a 12-day tour throughout NZ to celebrate our 2-year wedding anniversary. We were a little nervous upon arrival as there was scaffolding all around the outside of the hotel, but we soon learned that the exterior was being restored. Our room was lovely and the decor was very modern and beautiful. It had more than most hotel rooms offer - a comfy couch, a chair and a coffee table, as well as a super comfortable bed. Plenty of storage too. We were so happy and surprised to receive a bottle of wine and a welcome letter on our day of check-in. The breakfasts were reasonable and delicious and always on time (room service order). We also ate in the restaurant below twice for dinner and both times were very satisfactory. We only disliked the renovation noise on our third day as it was quite loud and constant, and the housekeeping kept knocking on our door on a day we decided to sleep in late. We stayed for 3 nights in total and had an overall pretty great experience here. Hazel at reception was in particular so friendly and helpful. Hope to be back someday!

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The mini kitchen is well equipped, we use it everyday for breakfast. The location is great too. Everything we need was within walking distance. If we ever come to Auckland again, we would definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay. Had some issues with our booking website and they helped us get it straitened out. Were helpful trying to get us a reservation at a few restaurants, and awesome about navigating the city. They employees were helpful and in a good mood. The hotel itself was the best we had stayed at all trip. It was clean, comfortable, and big. Had a full kitchen. The location was also very convenient. Only possible complaint is one they are working on and that is it's a bit loud with street noise but hey, city. Great place to stay.

What a lovely hotel. Middle of the CBD and 2 minutes walk from our venu, Basement Theatre. Rooms are spacious, well designed and so clean. They even remembered I'd stayed there previously - 8 years ago! Best hot chocolates. So impressed. Highly recommend. Nga mihi!

This hotel consistently provides a very good level of quality customer care. The close proximity to workplaces I deal with makes it a very comfortable home away from home which does not rely on travel within the inner city. The rooms are a good size, beds ultra comfortable, and the bonus of having kitchen facilities for a longer stay are all good reasons for continuing to return there. I am looking forward to the refurbishment as the time has come for this to be done, although the rooms are always clean and welcoming.

This refurbishment has been amazing. One of the top Auckland city hotels I’ve stayed in. Light and freshly decorated and their service is so on point. It’s got a very humble entrance from the street but once you walk in, it’s luxury and a breath of fresh air. I’ll be back!

Refurbishment still going on so expect scaffolding on the outside... however we stayed on top floor in a king room... absolutely done to the highest specs and the little details are all there. Service impeccable. Breakfast has everything although I find the decor rather 1990s in the cafe but her... that's personal taste at the end of the day. Prices reasonable

The room was clean and attractive, the bed and pillows were super comfortable, and it was right across the road (literally) from the function I was attending (at the Aotea Centre). They were in the middle of renovations and warned me there would be noise during the day, but I was out anyway. I would love to go back one day, after their renovations, to see what it is like then.

The service here was excellent! There was a mix-up with my booking party and the front desk crew went out of their way to fix it. They were helpful with restaurants and questions we had in the area. The rooms are big. The location is perfect. Beds are firm, pillows average hotel pillows. Ours was a front facing room, so a little noisy but that is to be expected in a city. They had excellent light blocking curtains that helped a great deal with the noise. Everything was clean and lovely. Shower pressure was good (sidenote- if you're tall you might have to adjust the shower head and it could be awkward. We are short so it was perfect for us). The soaps are cucumber and mint Earth's Botanics with manuka honey. Really recommend.

Was upgraded which was fabulous! A beautifully appointed and spacious room, very comfortable. Great location, an easy walk to anywhere you'll want to go in the city.

Great hotel. Perfect for a city escape, excellent location. We parked at the Aotea Square underground carpark, right across the road. We stayed one night but would have been more than comfortable to stay for a week! Newly redecorated and we loved all the design aspects, little bit opulent and very practical, a lovely space to stay in. We had a King room on the 7th floor at the corner end of the building so got spectacular 180° views across the city! Lovely helpful and polite staff Highly recommend

We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was gorgeous and so comfortable. A great way to start our holiday and catch up on some sleep. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Looking forward to going back in 2 weeks time.

We booked this hotel based on location which didn't disappoint. It is central and the Airport Skybus stop is just a few meters away from the front door. We had a small issue with noise from a neighboring construction site so the hotel staff relocated us to another room which was much quieter. The hotel and rooms are dated but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Can't complain! Staff were very helpful and nice. The room was clean and tidy. Great spot if your visiting the big city. Unfortunately there was some construction going on at the time so most of the view from our room was blocked by scaffold. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks

Comfortable room with a couch to watch the TV from and kitchen facilities well above the normal level. A bit noisy with construction going on in the hotel and nearby, but that stopped in the evening. Hot water for the shower was very slow to come through, literally more than 5 minutes. Nice dinner downstairs in the MLC Cafe, although I would have preferred a wider range of beers on offer. All staff I encountered at reception, concierge/car parking and cafe were very good.

A beautiful boutique hotel, with modern , spacious and clean rooms. Great selection of NZ wines and beers in the bar and friendly staff! Hotel is in perfect location for shopping, bars and restaurants.

This hotel is very well positioned and staff are very helpful. We had a one bedroom suite overlooking Queen Street. Lovely room, comfortable beds, quality linen and pillows. A small kitchen was a surprise. We thought it was great and will use this hotel again.

Excellent hotel and close to town. Very clean rooms and the staff are extremely friendly. Let us stay longer than the check out time which was most helpful. Would stay there again. Downside, no car parking available.

This place is great! The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly since I arrived. The rooms are small, but clean. I am also in love with comfortable bed. The hotel is within walking distance to every Auckland CBD to-do list.

Great, refurbished and stylish room and bathroom/shower in a modern style...loved the black finish around the shower and taps/fitments with clean, large tiling...very modern and up-to-date - may consider for my own place in the future! Plenty of tea and coffee for the included kettle and coffee-maker. Nice-sized "kitchen" sink for washing up cups (2 mugs and 2 espresso cups) and several tumblers/wine glasses with teatowel too, but only 2 small plates and spoons...no forks, knives or larger spoons so the pullout dishwasher was really a waste of space! A microwave and more plates and cutlery would have been more useful, along with some washing-up liquid when so much else had been provided. Very comfy bed with bedside tables and alarm clock provided, and the sitting area had a 2-seater sofa and 2 comfy chairs and a table...very liveable in with many variable lighting options! Mini-bar prices were very expensive and the bottles of wine offered were also very expensive...much less expensive wines are available from the nearby supermarkets, however the fridge was useful for keeping bottled water and snacks in! We arrived from a cruise ship around 1030am but our room was available and cannot fault the reception staff (Lukas). On departure we were able to leave our bags in a locked room for several hours as our flight home was not until the evening, and as a bonus the Skybus Airport service was right outside the hotel from door...we paid 17 NZD each for the bus transfer to Auckland International Airport (every 10-12 minutes during the day) and on chatting to some people in the queue for Airport checkin, they paid 90 NZD for a taxi from their hotel at the bottom of Queen Street where we were staying!

Got a wine for my honeymoon stay. What a surprise!! Rooms are great, electric kitchen set, oven and microwave are provided. Toilet are clean. The rooms have 2 sofa 2 chair and table. U can open the windows for air circulation. The only downside are the hot water sometimes not hot enough and the sound from outside still comes in a little. Overall we have a great stay here. We will come again

Our room was very nice with its own kitchenette, it was cleaned every day, the staff was friendly and the location of the hotel is great - right in the beginning of the city center. The view is not spectacular, but it's a great choice for a budget.

We enjoyed out stay at the Scenic Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was nice, clean and fairly roomy. We couldn't give an excellent mark as we too suffered from crashing glass outside during the night (bottle collection?) and also the building work in the hotel and behind the hotel started at 7.00 every morning and delivery lorries well before that. Two suggestions - your hotel wants to be more environmentally responsible and we applaud that, but it would help to know which items to put in which side of the bin provided in our room, I went by UK standards but NZ may be different. Some lights under the kitchen cabinets would help and some people in our group found the microwave too high - it was OK for us.

Rooms were excellent, but the renovation happening in the building was a bit of hassle. No restaurant attached, but provided access to next door hotel. Onsite parking is not available but valet parking is available. it would have been nice with parking facilities. No room service facilities at the moment.

Great location, helpful staff. No street noise issues, air con was pleasant. Room was clean and large. TV signal was quite poor but this had no effect on out stay and we didn't really try to sort it out.

Really liked this hotel for business travel and would use it for leisure/couples in future too. r The room was very well equipped and had some nice extras like a personalised card from the manager and really good coffee sachets not your normal instant. All the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Room service meals (dinners and breakfasts were had) were all of high standard and generous portions. Bathroom could have been more modern but it had everything needed and was clean. Liked the little canvas bag telling you to take the shampoos etc all home in it, as a regular hotel stayer I hadnt seen that before. Great location. Ignore the mustard hallway paint on the bedroom floors and you'll be sweet :)

On arrival I was met efficiently and professionally. My room allocation, key etc was very quick, well below 5 minutes, upon directions to get to my room, elevator, in my room, within 10 minutes of walking in through the door of reception. The room was welcoming and as expected. The template note from the GM was a nice touch and still something I am reminded of, even though days later. For the rest, the room was well maintained by my second evening, the facilities met my needs and at the end the checking out was as efficient as when I had arrived. Many thanks to the team. It's a great place to stay while in Auckland. Room are comfortable and staff is very friendly. I arrived very early in the morning and they had no trouble accomodating me way before check-in time.Perhaps the only con is that the room I was in was too noisy at night because it faced Queen St. Overall is a good place at a very nice place for short stays (I was there 4 days).

We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s close to downtown area of the city you can walk to restaurants, the Sky Tower and parks. The room was comfortable and spacious, the fitness center had enough equipment (weights) to do a decent workout.

From the moment we walked in, to the moment we departed staff were right there helping. Property super clean and quiet.

Great location right in the cbd itself. Bus to the airport is just next door super walking distance. Great staff. Big spacious room with and awesome kitchen area. Food is available all around the area with easy access to bars and shopping spots.

We needed central accommodation while we attended a show at Spark Arena. We had a Lightwell Queen room, which was ample space for two of us. Staff were very friendly. Only downside for us was the constant hum outside (possibly airconditioning units) but it wasn't as bad once the windows were shut. Also lumpy pillows. Otherwise our stay was great and I'd have no hesitation staying there again.

This is the best hotel we ever stayed in Auckland. Hotel Staffs are so friendly and very helpful. Rooms are exceptionally clean, bed is very comfy and very clean sheets. Excellent location in the center of CBD, very close to everything. Airport busses are just at the door - from and to the airport every 10 minutes. Restaurant just next door, food is excellent. I stayed at the Scenic Hotel in Auckland over the New year period. The hotel was well situated in the heart of the city near to transport facilities and shops and restaurants. The bus to the airport also stops right outside.Room was clean and comfortable, Bed was a bit springy but comfortable.

Service was good, but hot water barely warm, and with work being carried out we were woken at 4 am each morning by skip bins being emptied and cranes started working at 6 am. Great position and friendly staff, comfortable room.

I booked here since it was convenient. I had to take the Skybus to and from the airport, and it stops directly in front of the hotel. Check-in was quick and the room was cozy and comfortable. I liked that there was a kitchen sink and microwave, as well as utensils, etc. There were a few negatives upon arrival however. There was a round sticky mark on the bed side table, which looked like someone had left a sticky mug there and the spot was not wiped clean afterwards by the maid. There was hair in the bathroom, including the shower. The recycling bin was not emptied, and the last guests’ items were still in there. There was also minimal space to place hygiene products by the bathroom sink. The price of the room was decent, but there are other options in the area. I specifically stayed here because of its easy access to the Skybus station (although there are many stops throughout the downtown). The hotel is basically across from Town Hall (City Hall), and there are many shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. I might stay here again, but would consider other options in the area as well. Side note regarding Skybus: when you are arriving into Auckland from the airport, the main hub station at Scenic Hotel is one of the last stops downtown. So, if you prefer, you may want to stop at one of the earlier stops as you enter downtown, and just walk a few blocks to the hotel. Even with the walk, you’ll probably save 30 minutes or more because the bus meanders through the downtown to the harbour and then back up towards to the main hub next to Scenic Hotel. It was awesome leaving for the airport though, the bus was right there as you walk out of the hotel. So awesome for early morning flights.

In heart of city but tired and desperately in need of a major refit to bring into 21 century. Needed a business hub / meeting room as there for business but nothing available. Staff kindly opened restaurant for us. Evening meal fantastic. Limited bar facilities.

Located within walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and theatre in the CBD. My room (609) was clean, spacious and overlooked Queen Street (view of the SKY Tower) and I appreciated being able to open the windows. Staff were brilliant, very helpful and I was impressed with the dinning options.

Basic and functional. Bathroom and shower was tiny, but the hot water was hot, so bonus points there. Would happily stay again. Expensive though, $330 for one night, but we booked very late and there wasn't much else in Auckland so I suppose that's why.

Situated right by the Auckland Town Hall and has a great view of Queen Street and the night life of Auckland City. Upon arrival the greeting was warm and heartfelt and nothing was a problem. Easy registration at reception and then we popped up to the room. Great layout and size, and clean like home. Well priced accommodation for its location. Only downfall would be that they might need to look at us blokes and the need for a big Screen TV while waiting for our Gals to get ready… A great stay in a nice Hotel.

I called for a booking very late, the duty manager was incredibly helpful & courteous - nothing was a problem for him - he even offered an extra-late checkout allowing us time to read the complimentary NZ Herald. Room was comfortable & well furnished, WiFi was free but very basic, ancient ADSL speeds when fibre is available. There aren't enough power points - you can't charge your phone, have the bedside lamp on & warm the bed with the electric blanket - oh well, never mind. We had breakfast on site, nothing special but no complaints either. They don't have parking but assured me that Queen St unmetered parks were safe on a Saturday night - from wardens & from vandals. Which was correct, my car was where I left it, parking cost me nothing. I'll return.

Wow! This place is back after renovation and it's beautiful. They've a great bar and restaurant. And most importantly, the lovely supportive and always smiling/friendly staff!!!

Spent three nights at the scenic in May 2018. Very accomodating front desk, pleasant room, well appointed. Nothing luxurious but very comfortable and clean.

Good service. Room dated but comfortable and clean. Feel have been fleeced a bit on the carpark though. $35 for one night, $15 more than other akl hotels stayed at.

The scenic hotel used Auckland and Paihia. We will have a total of 4 nights, including in the future. Very easy to use and comfortable. Clean room and comfortable space.

I am a regular traveller for work. I stay in a number of accommodation providers. I regularly stay at both the scenic hotels in Paihia and Auckland (queen street). I’d like to make 2 observations. I can safely say that scenic hotels staff in both these locations have made my stay better. They are polite, friendly, focused providing a friendly face to me and focused very much on supporting my needs. I have received particularly outstanding service from Sandeep at your queen street Auckland hotel. It is my experience with him that has compelled me to provide this feedback. Secondly the wifi facility at your hotel is fantastic! Great for someone travelling in work and most importantly easily accessible. I now request to stay at scenic hotels exclusively. Please pass on my appreciation to both groups of staff in particular Sandeep.

We had the good fortune to spend a long weekend in Auckland with 2 kids. The hotel is in a great location, directly opposite Aotea Square and just a 10 minutes stroll down Queens St. THe room was comfortable with basic cooking facilities (jug, toaster, microwave) which was useful with young children. The SkyBus goes directly from the domestic terminal (door 4) to the entrance of the hotel making this a really easy to get to hotel. Would highly recommend staying here!

Staff were super helpful, the property is central and the rooms hard to beat!

We stayed 2 nights and we really appreciated our stay. The bed was big and very comfy. The hotel is well situated.

Being in full process of restoration and renewal, hope is that the future look will be fresh and the amenities extended. Right now, visitors whose rooms are facing towards the mobile scaffolding will have to endure (within working hours) the "espionage" from outside facade, even when at second floor or higher :)

Wow! This place is back after renovation and it's beautiful. They've a great bar and restaurant. And most importantly, the lovely supportive and always smiling/friendly staff!!!

There were 7 of us and each of us got different types of rooms even though we all paid the same. It was really hot in my room even though the temperature was 18°degrees.

They are busy revamping it, so there is no kitchen/restaurant, but the location is fantastic and the amenities great. THe room was spotless and huge.

Thanks for making the changes. I have been staying in the hotel for over five years now and the changes made with the current upgrades and amazing. I feel like I'm walking into an international hotel which feels like home

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy bed. Get a room higher up for a quieter stay. No outlets near the bed, so you'll have to plug things in elsewhere.

Fitted into a triangular shaped building the rooms are all individually shaped. Good facilities in the rooms but a bit tired now. Very central.

Staff was nice but location was inconvenient for car driving. Shower was strangely laid out. Room was noisy from ground activity.

Hotel was generally very good and all the staff were extremely helpful when we had to extend our stay because I was ill.
