f.Clean and tidy... Rooms are tidy. Hall ways are dated. Value for money. Helpful service desk.
J.I have stayed here before and had stayed in the motel units at a really reasonable price booked through booking.com. This time I phoned and got the cheapest room (family emergency brought us to Auckland and needed a room quickly?) and I paid more than I ever had and the room was nowhere as good. Still nice and clean, bathroom small very low toilet, terrible for someone my size, shower unit had steps that you could easily slip on. Rather disappointed with this stay. A shame we could not get one of the motel units for a much better price booking online.
s.Very satisfied with my stay , Thanks for arranging me a great and quiet room, room has everything I wanted , love the new bathroom , staffs are very helpful. Cafe meals are delicious. Location is so continent.

Bed was not too bad, despite being on a main road and it being busy, I slept well.

S.Lovely and clean premises. We had a family unit with three single beds in the lounge for the kids. And a queen bed in a separate room. This configuration had been incredibly hard to find when we were looking. Great location. Easy walk to train station in New Market
S.Clean, comfortable rooms. Menu a little limited, though the food was quite good with something of a "home cooking" feel to it.
C.Good and comfortable place, staff were good although the receptionist needs a bit of improvement and rooms were comfortable with the need of some renevations ie paint etc and brushing up on some cleaning. But staff were good and well mannered, room service was good to. Good parking. One thing I did notice was people smoking in their rooms and out side on the balcony...mayb have a disignated area for smokers. Although I'm sure it said thr place was smoke free.
J.Cheap bed for the night. Didn't sleep much due to next door permanent neighbours. Good location.
S.Great location, walking distance to downtown shops. Seems hardly big enough to call itself a conference center, I guess it would work for small conferences. We were upgraded to a room with a kitchen, but it was in another building next to the main building. It had a small stove, a fridge, a kettle, even a rice cooker in the cabinets. It was very windy and the windows were old single pane, but not noisy enough to keep us up at night. Had a heater and a fireplace. The whole establishment is older, hasn't been updated in a while, but it was clean. I would stay again.
f.The room is comfortable, but you can hear the sound from the room next to yours at night. The receptionist must also improve in terms of customer service. But over all, it's comfortable, clean and so close to city.
C.Great location for us, room ok, beds not the best as we were upstairs in the old block with single beds this time. Have stayed here many times and usually we get better rooms on the flat. Also lovely king size beds.
B.Unit 31 a bit dated but good size. Lots of little details with problems - door handles squeaked, taps were noisy, can hear traffic outside, the queen size bed seems to be smaller than a queen, only 3 cups, 4 chairs for a room that sleeps 5... Free WiFi times out after 30 minutes which is annoying.
On the plus side, included continental breakfast was very good, the small shub bath was nice and we didn't really have any problems. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a good stay.
Our unit had an unusual occurrence - since the sun rose over the motorway, during sunrise the light on our window flickered on and off with the cars driving past.
C.Had an awesome 3 night stay here at Alpers Lodge in June 2019. Lovely quiet location, but still very close to the growing town of Newmarket. Beds were super comfortable and was nice to have an AC unit since it was so cold at nights. Staff were friendly enough but not great English. The TV was very hard to see from bed being so small and the rooms could do with a possible upgrade but overall, for the price of around $280 for three nights and being in the heart of Newmarket, it was an extremely nice stay. Would definitley reccomend for travellers wanting a little bit of luxury without the pricetag. Would for sure stay here again next time I am in Auckland.

t.Location and value are there, and we stay there often. However, the rooms are outdated and there has been the odd occasion with ants in the room. Still, the people are nice and accomodating, and the new coffee shop is a bonus.
Y.The service was good enogh for the money. Location is very good - close to the state highway, aldo close to NewMarket shoppings. The room was good, the only things - the floor carpet is required some renovation. Free parking aldo avalible, but the places closer to the teception are little bit bumpy.
F.Great value, great location, appears to have been recently refurbished, comfy beds. Very helpful staff, particularly on short notice and an odd request. Only thing I can fault is no free WiFi. Given the opportunity, I will definitely stay again.

J.The room was spacious and clean. The decor is a bit rundown but the rate was reasonable. Like many places around here, there is quite a bit of road noise.
S.Stayed Tuesday 5th July to Friday 8th 2016. Room 14 with queen and a single. Room was super clean with a heat pump flat screen Rv with sky and 5 gb wifi data which was very reliable. Continental breakfast was perfect for us with peaches youghurt toast juice and tea n coffee. The hotel was very clean and I was grateful to stay in a good motel. Parked car here and walked everywhere which was most convenient. Thanks for the great experience.
Y.Decent place for the price we paid. A little bit noisy, and hallway lights were on all night which shined in our room. Restuarant was amazing!! 😊😊
M.The room and staff are fine, however in a tourist city with international visitors, it is a requirement to have reliable fast high speed internet. The internet is free, however it is unreliable or simply doesn't work. The wifi is part of some tomizone system that charges outside users for internet, and splits profits with the hotel. This means the hotel likely didn't pay anything for the system, and guaranteed means the hotel doesn't care about their guests network experience. Make sure you have a cell phone with you, that's the only way i was able to post this review.
F.For a 3 stars hotel is tidy, clean, roomy, has soft beds, great shower and the best wifi I ever got in a hotel room (80 Mb symmetric)
