J.3 people downstairs. 1 x small milk. Crockery/utensils for 2. Beds firm. No instructions on how to use TV (can't see decoder BEHIND TV on wall) dog roaming on premises (think next unit owns it) friendly pigeons. Stroll in then stroll out. Quiet. Apart from upstairs, creaking floors
N.I would say it's only good.. bathroom bath leaks downstairs into other bathroom and having to constantly clean it up and it drips out the light very unsafe. Cant get wifi at all in the unit we staying in they need wifi
extenders to help with that. This place has great potential but needs more loving. Staff are nice especially steven great kind person
P.Very clean, the staff are extremely helpful, they have only recently taken over the motel in the Covid lockdown, which has been difficult for them.
Motel is a little tired, however the operators are working hard to bring it up to a better standard. Good comfy bed. It is very handy for all the medical clinics in Remuera.
L.Clean room that was spacious enough for 3, for a 2 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Located reasonable walking distance from Newmarket Westfield Mall. Unfortunately there were a few minor let downs. The nights of our visit were incredibly hot and air con would have been welcome (fan provided helped a little) Our unit was on the ground floor and upstairs visitors were quite noisy through the night. Teen daughters single bed was incredibly uncomfortable and that would probably put me off booking again.
M.this motel is run by a really lovely, easy going, friendly asian family. ive stayed in 3 of their rooms so far, all 3 have been cleaner than 90% of the places ive stayed in around auck.CBD. they dont ask for a bond on their rooms making it super easy to get a room here, even for people with low income, all you need is I.D
D.Very clean rooms need to be updated nothing major good central location. Lovely young couple who run the place.
T.It's clean and the spa bath shower upstairs was a bonus to the downstairs shower...but inadequate kitchen gear, no tea towels or sink cloth, broken plunger and horrible drawers that are hard to open. Minor If you are not planning on doing breakfast or any food prep. 1 dining chair in a family apartment also strange. 2 queen beds upstairs, 2 singles below seemed odd too. Not accessible if there are mobility issues. Restaurant next door not bad.
G.Room is simple and clean. But there is no air conditioner and only a small fan. Internet is free, but given out in small packages that make for interruptions in service and trips to the office. The location is convenient and there is a bus stop right in front. Nothing fancy here, but decent value for money.
O.Steven and Ashley were absolutely amazing hosts, taking hospitality to the next level these two went more than out of their way to ensure my stay was at one of the highest levels I have ever experienced.
M.The whole place was tired. The night I booked in the workmen doing renovations ended work at 4pm but had started again by 7am. The huge pile of rubbish stayed at the front of my room all night. The back door of my room lead out to a muddy back yard with one table by my door but seemed to be used by ALL other residence
J.We were happy with our stay. This is actually our second time staying here. Especially considering the price we paid. I think a lot of these people leave negative reviews not considering this.
The only reason I've given 4 stars not 5 was because check in wasn't straightforward. I believe this was just a bit of miscommunation at the time of booking. The man at reception gave my partner and I chocolate which is always nice. Also the walls are paper thin so we could here neighbors chatting at all hours of the morning.
It's a great location for needing to get to ASB showgrounds. Uber was about $7 each way.
P.Perfectly acceptable. Room servicing was adequate although we stayed for a week and the coffee and milk wasn't always replenished. The staff were friendly.

The small fridge is very useful.
Room and motel looks old and battered.

Close to all shops and public transport.
E.Nice place. Room with terrace. Good equipet. Easy to reach the city center with bus. Price ok. We would stay there again.

Downside:
1.Found a long black hair in the toilet area as well as an eyeglass. So housekeeping needs to be more attentive to details.
2. Parking was so tight.
